Katara would win.She would just freeze all the blood in Toph's body and Toph would die.

Um... I don't think we're talking about killing here. And that'd be pretty hard to do it through all those organs and everything. Why hasn't Katara done it before? Either she's too peaceful, or she just can't do it.

I dobt the creators of Avatar (even though is WOULD be possible for waterbender masters to do if u think about it.) would allow it. The reason for that is simple because then all a waterbender would have to do is get within sight of the GREAT Fire Lord Ozai (ya I said great just to make u mad Aliana, lol) too kill him.

Die... *throws rock spear at Zana*

Yeah, and it's a kid show. Do you really want three year olds thinking about their blood freezing in their veins, and then waking up at three in the morning screaming? Don't think so.

We really saw Katara and Toph argue in the chase, do you guys think this forshadows a unsteady relationship? Maybe, they almost fought, until aang got in the way.

I believe it is an even match. For one thing they are not opposite elements. Another thing, while Toph appears to has more power than Katara, Katara has the skill to hold her own. It is possible that Katara just shows more restraint with her power. Remember her duel with the Water bender master at the North Pole? Trust me. Katara is no light-weight.

Now in the battle for the Avatar's heart is more lopsided. Toph is about the same age as the Avatar
(which may be helpful in the long run) but Katara has a head-start with Anga all ready having a crush on her. Besides, maybe the avatar likes the older ones? lol.
