*Applause* Again, very well put! People seem to focus on the fact that she is blind, and assume that she has no way of knowing any direction or anything. We push aside the fact that she has intellect, and hearing, and the normal things that normal people have.

and because she is blind her other sences are stronger then others. (talking from experiance) because I need glasses, and am deaf in one ear i have a strong sence of smell and touch. Stronger then my friends. I'm always the first to smell things, it's pretty funny.

Okay people that was the first episode in which Toph was shown in every cartoon the first episode in which a character appears in they are almost unstopable. But just wait come the next episode Toph will be reduced to nothing more than a mere character. So by judging her by her one time appearence you are just making yourselves seem oblivious to the fact that the writers will reduce her strength in up coming episodes, just wait. Katara can cream her anyways.

NO! katara is weak. I don't like her at all. Mainy because she's a waterbender, but wat ev. I still think she has no chance against Toph.

I don't care about Katara all I am stating is that Toph is no master bender and is going to loose power in the upcoming episodes as all characters do just look as Zuko he is weak compared to Azula. And the same goes for Toph.

she is just a bender nothing has hinted to Toph being a master but I bet that latter on she will be and then a victory against Katara may arrive.

I don't think toph could win yes she'll be able to know where katara is but like when Aang attacked her it was in the air and toph couldn't see the attack the same will go for water

No but by her movments Toph should be able to tell what and wich moves she uses. Then she will be able to counter them.

no because he's an airbender and came down on the earth so soft that she couldn't feel im. I doubt Katara could do that.
