i think thier could be mind benders but not like mind control and stuff but maybe they can manipulate thier own mind into doing incredible feats like ( in know it sounds corny) super strenth, super sight, and super fast reflexes. and its opposite could be spirit benders which could be like an offshoot of the water bending healers but instead of just healing with chi they can cause damage with it too.
oh the possibilities.
as for the continuation of the series they could make it so that there could be a style war between benders of the same element but different styles. and the next avatar in line can try and stop it from getting out of control.

I think that it would be cool if there were muscle benders. Like if they could make their arm muscles larger to be stronger or their leg muscles to be faster. also maybe they could like deflate enemies muscles or something. It would also be cool if muscle benders could take over other peoples muscles as to like kill them selves with their own weapons and stuff. But i think that if there was going to be muscle benders it would only be fair if they could only make their muscles larger/smaller, meaning they would have to double as a warrior, etc. i thnk that would be really cool!
Edited: also in episode 2-13 "the drill" Aang commented that he wouldn't mind being a metal bender when he was trying to make the final blow on the drill. Does that mean that there are metal benders or does he just wish that he could bend metal?

Personally i would enjoy a metal bender bending the different metals such as iron, steel, copper, ect.
The martial arts would be judo considering judo is much of a defensive and reactive martial art (according to my dad who lived in vietnam and took judo which he actually used on me when i was little)
Metal is similar it bends when needed and when the time comes it hardens least when you are hammering it into armor.
Also if metal benders become real then that would change the entire fire nation's miltary level considering everything they have is metal lol
