I chose water because it has many different states to it

so one could switch between each one, so much Power

I love all of the elements.

Water- like someone said, there are so many stages of water to control.

Fire- If anyone gets on my nerves, all I'd have to do is fire up and tell them to back off or depending on my mood I'd fry them. j/k

Air-I would love to fly the way Aang does.

Earth- Probably my favorite of the four. I would love to start earthquakes and mudslides and stuff.

Water... One reason. I'm waiting for an evil/POed water bender to realize that the human body is seventy percent water, look at the opponent and say, "Freeze." or "Boil." *mental picture of A) corpsicle or B) desciated mummy* All the other styles are simpel brute force really. Look, you're on fire... I crushed you with rock! Ha! I'll blow you away!

Actually, a bender can do that. They can control their opponets using the water inside their body. I wonder if we'll see that in Season Finale.

Earth definately. It's strong, grounded, and can be used practically anywhere. It's a lot like waterbending in that you can controll dirt/mud, solid stone, or a fountain of gravel, all of which have different pros/cons.
Oh, and Halaku, how is airbending brute force? sure, it can be used to 'blow someone away, but then, so can water. air is a very refined and delicate style that often specializes in controll rather than power, much like water.

P.S. what do you think magma falls under the jurisdiction of, fire or earth? I say earth because it's molten stone.

I vote for air... All the cool crap you can do with air is enough to make me want to be an Air Bender. Not only that, but Air is everywhere, they wouldn't be able to imprison Air Benders like they did to the Earth Benders. The only time Aang wasn't able to Bend was when he was in the Spirit World.

Halaku - They do... Remember in the episode "The Waterbending Master" when Master Pakku and Katara were fighting, he did that to her during that fight.

My co-favorites are fire and air, because my spirit animal is a phoenix.

Firebending - Northern Shaolin Kung Fu

I think Firebending's just fine the way it is. It's still my favorite bending discipline.

Well, I just think something should've been Jeet Kune Do. Maybe Water, since it's based on the principle of flowing like water... in fact that makes a lot more since.

Airbending is the most versatile bending discipline, but it's also the weakest. There's no finishing move in Airbending, because the Air Benders respected all life, including their enemies.

Waterbending is next, and I believe that it has more defensive moves than attacks, which is it's weakness.

Earthbending and Firebending's weak points are the fact that they are mostly offensive, with few defensive moves.
