Questions:
1. What is your character's name?
Anyu

2. Where is your character from? Heritage in Fire and Water Nations. Born in earth kingdom. Lived in Bah Sing Se and Omashu. Currently traveling to find his mother, improve his bending, and better himself.

3. What is your character's age? 21

4. What does your character look like? (Taken from appearance) A bit shorter than average, Anyu stands around 5’5, maybe 5’6 on a good day. His eyes are a striking light blue, but they occasionally get a darker tint. Anyu mostly resembles his father, who hailed from the Southern Water Tribe; however, he does inherit a few features from his Fire Nation mother, namely her light skin tone and freckles. Anyu’s build is somewhat more defined than average but not quite athletic, and he wears his light brown hair drawn back into a slightly elevated, loose pony tail, also known as a warrior’s wolf tail.

As far as clothing is concerned, Anyu prefers practical to fashionable, so most of the time he wears a simple light blue shirt and pants. However, under the shirt, Anyu usually wears wrappings that branch down his right arm to a blue glove. These wrappings cover a nasty burn scar that reaches from his hand to slightly above his elbow. His hand is where the damage is the worst and it retains a dark reddish-brown hue.

If on the road, he usually carries a backpack with supplies, a sleeping mat rolled up under the bag, and a water skin on his left hip. The only weaponry Anyu carries is a whip that his father gave him as a going away present. It was crafted in the Northern Water Tribe, and it is made of sleek, black leather with a tiny yin-yang koi sewn on the bottom.

5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far. (from history) Anyu’s father, Kuroda, was a promising water bender who hailed from a long line of benders in the Northern Water Tribe. At a young age, Kuroda left his home to aid in the war efforts in the Earth Kingdom. While occupying a minor Earth Kingdom city that had been retaken from the Fire Nation, his father fell in love with, Corinna, a Fire Nation Soldier whom he was expected to guard. Soon after, Corinna became pregnant, but they tried to pass it off as an event that occurred before her imprisonment. However, when the baby, Anyu, was born, he looked enough like the father that the rumors exploded, and the regiment’s commander dismissed Kuroda and ordered him to take his son with him. The next day, Corinna was moved to another prison.

Kuroda was told to travel to Bah Sing Se to receive a formal discharge as well as his military pay, but after spending a few weeks in Bah Sing Se, Kuroda learned that not only was that war not to be mentioned in the city, but also that his record had him marked dishonorably discharged for conspiring with the enemy. Outraged, Kuroda spent a great deal of time fighting this dishonor to no avail and by the end of the long, tedious legal war, Kuroda lacked the funds to return home.
Kuroda, weary of a high-stress life decided to try to settle down in Bah Sing Se and raise Anyu who, at the time, was 2. Kuroda did well for himself, but the blissfully ignorant utopia life began to wear at the warrior inside Kuroda. When Kuroda finally decided to return to the water tribe, the news of his dishonorable discharge had had plenty of time to sit and fester. Earth kingdom relations were at an all time low, and Kuroda soon conceded that he would find no welcome at his previous home.

Resignedly, Kuroda returned to Omashu, and started a produce business that eventually became a front for smuggling weapons to various resistance groups in Fire Nation Colonies. It was during one of these smuggling runs that Anyu got the scar on his right arm. Anyu was 16 at the time and the mission was like any other, get the goods from A to B. It all went wrong when a small, elite squad of Fire Nation soldiers ambushed Kuroda, Anyu, and Taro, the store’s assistant. After a long, brutal fight, the soldiers were all either dead or running. Unfortunately, Taro received a fatal wound in the battle, and Anyu received his scar while blocking a near-fatal strike.

Anyu was immediately rushed to a healer in a nearby village where he spent the next several months recovering. When he finally recovered enough to get out of his bed, Anyu immediately set to retraining his hand, and after a year and several months of painstaking work, Anyu finally regained full use of his hand.

Once again, weary of dangerous work, Kuroda decided to settle down in the village and start yet another new life, but when Anyu fully recovered, he decided that he wasn’t content to live as a peasant. At first, Kuroda disproved of Anyu’s decision, but after some discussion he agreed that it was time for his son to find his own way. The day after Anyu’s 18th birthday, he began wondering the Earth Kingdom…

6. What does your character like? Dislike?
Likes Well, Anyu has a large numbers of things that he likes, but at the top of that list would probably be food, more specifically cake. To go with this love for food, comes a healthy appetite, but Anyu can go without food if necessary… just don’t expect him to keep it quiet. Second on the list is women, but as a traveler he usually doesn’t have the time required for a good relationship. However, he has become a very good admirer of women… which has gotten him into trouble in the past.

On a more serious note, Anyu thinks highly of those who do good in whatever way they can, and he believes strongly that the more fortunate should be charitable. Also, Anyu is a thinker, so he enjoys any kind of strategizing, problem solving, and debating.

Dislikes Given his parent’s past, Anyu is extremely distrustful of military organizations. He sees them as corrupt and in need of strict reformation. He also believes that the smaller parts easily lose sight of their higher goal when tempted with material possessions, and if not strictly controlled, they can cause irreparable damage.

Following the military is cowards, unnecessarily cruel people (especially leaders), and corrupt politicians who care more about their career more than the people under them. Last on the lists is pessimists… they’re just annoying.

7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad?
Good: Perhaps the best trait of Anyu is his firm belief in the good of others. He is aptly willing to trust other people who may not have the best intentions if they tell a good enough story, and along with this trust comes strong loyalty. Anyu would give the shirt off his back to anyone, and his strong work ethic only helps make his loyalty stronger. Finally, and the most important trait, in Anyu’s opinion, is his willingness to admit fault. If he messes up Anyu willingly takes the blame, and in an argument, he is always ready to concede a point if someone can convince him otherwise. He also has a good sense of humor ;)
Bad: The best of Anyu’s traits may also be his worst. Simply put, he is too trusting and if that trust is broken intentionally, he usually is furious. Also, his belief in the good of others also leads for him to have high expectations of those around him, expectations that they usually fail to live up to.

Even though it is good that Anyu is willing to take blame, he usually punishes himself more than those around him, and he will often accept the blame for things that he had no control over. Another fault of Anyu’s is that he sometimes tries to over think simple things, and his plans can often come out complex when there is a more effective, simpler solution.

8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character? Anyu is an extremely proficient water bender. His basics are rock solid, and he can improvise fluidly. However, his ice techniques are sloppy and in need work. Most of Anyu’s skills were acquired from training with Kuroda, his father, for all of his life. However, while travelling, Anyu has become very proficient at drawing water from his surroundings, mostly to reduce the amount of water that he is required to carry.

9. What or who is important to your character and why? Anyu has lived in Earth Kingdom cities all of his life, and he has also met several peasants along his travels. Because of this, he sympathizes greatly with the common folk, and he is willing to help them in just about anyway possible.

As far as a specific person, the only person whom Anyu truly cares for is his father, Kuroda. He is his greatest role model, and up until the moment Anyu began travelling, he and his father had been almost inseparable.

10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why? Insufficient ability, betrayal, and a seeming eminent Fire Nation seizure of the entire world are all worries that plague Anyu, but his two greatest fears are being unable to find and the death of his father.

The main purpose for Anyu leaving was to find his mother, and thus far, he has not even found a clue as to where she might be. It has been a fear since the start of his journey, but every day it seems less likely that Anyu will find his Fire Nation mother.

Though Anyu’s mother is the more pressing concern, he does occasionally worry about his father. The village that his father lives in has thus far been unaffected by the war, and as a result the defenses are very light and the townspeople unskilled. In his time in the village, his father had worked on defenses and raised a slight militia, but it would do little to stop the Fire Nation if they decided to develop an attack plan. If the fire nation took the town, and his father wasn’t killed in the initial fight, then he would be executed for being an Earth Kingdom soldier, a smuggler, and whatever charges the conquerors wanted to invent.

11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why? For Anyu’s entire life, he has always wondered who his mother is and what she was like, and thus far, Anyu’s only had Kuroda to tell him about her. This quest is the primary reason that Anyu left his father, and even though he has spent three years searching, Anyu has yet to find a definitive clue on the where about of his mother.

The other reasons that Anyu travels are to gain knowledge of the world, to become a better bender, to improve himself, and to improve the world in whatever small way that he can.

Anyu - You should have waited until your profile was accepted. :) Once it is and I can be sure that no changes need to be made to what you have here because of it, then I'll look it over if you wish. :)

Questions:

1. What is your character's name?
Saiki Kitajima

2. Where is your character from? The Earth Nation, Ba Sing Se (The Middle Ring)

3. What is your character's age? 20 Years

4. What does your character look like? Saiki is a tomboyish Earth Nation girl that loves to get down and dirty, and could care less about her girlish assets. Atop this fun-lover's head is her long and beautiful brown hair that fades to lighter shades of brown near the ends. Saiki wears her hair in two long braids with which she entwines ribbons of various greens and browns. Her two braids are then held together by a band at the back of her head. The braids themselves stop just above her lower back. Her hair is parted to the right and she has thick, razored bangs that cover the right side of her face. Saiki has an ovular shaped face with a long slender nose and a large mouth with slightly pouted lips. Her lips are a very light shade of pink, naturally, and her cheeks are colorless. Her eyes are a dark brown and appear black during the night.

At a height of 5'7'' she is a tall woman and weighs around 142 pounds. Her skin is very tan, a common color for most Earth Nation citizens since a majority would rather spend their time outside in the sun than cooped up inside their homes. Martial arts training since the age of five has allowed her to keep her body toned and fit. She's very healthy and would like to keep it that way. Her waist and bust line are of an average size, something she admires greatly for her chest hardly ever gets in her way during exercise, and she is not one to flaunt for men. Her skin at times may have cuts and bruises, but for the most part it's in good condition. However, an accident with her older brother as a child has caused her to have identical scars at the top of both of her shoulders.

Saiki's apparel is very simple, just like herself. She detests wearing skirts or dresses like normal Earth Nation women. Instead, she wears a collared tunic that stops midway at her thighs. The tunic is short-sleeved stopping right at her shoulders, thus covering her scars. It also begins to split a bit underneath her bust line. On her legs she wears sleeves that stop at her elbows. The sleeves have a hole in which she places both of her middle fingers for each hand. Underneath her bust she wears a sash with a bow in the front; her mother wanted it that way of course. All of her apparel is made of brown and green fabrics and are very comfortable. Also on her right ankle is where a rock bracelet made by one of her brothers delicately rests.

5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far. Whenever Saiki is questioned about her family's relatively large size, people are always surprised to hear her response. Her parents Yuzuru and Akemi Kitajima were both citizens of Ba Sing Se. Her father's family were furniture merchants whereas her mother's family were jewelry merchants. After their marriage to one another they decided to keep up both shops so that their flow of income was relatively stable, and so that raising a family would not be an issue. Saiki still giggles about her mother's shop name till this day; Sparkle Like A Koi Fish Jewelers.

A few years after their marriage, Akemi discovered she was pregnant. Both parents were ecstatic and ready for their first baby. To their amazement however, Akemi did not have just one baby; she actually gave birth to three healthy baby boys. Yuzuru was a very proud father. He had three sons and a beautiful wife. They decided to name them Daichi, Daichouhok, and Daisuke. Yuzuru wasn't sure whether or not any of his sons would be Earthbenders like himself; until one very fun and yet frightening day.

Yuzuru was trying to push a piece of furniture into his shop one evening. His three boys were helping as well. After pushing for quite some time, Daichi became sick and tired and stomped his foot in complete anger and frustration. To the amazement of his brothers and father, he shot the piece of furniture up into the air. He had Earthbended it upward into the sky! As it came falling down, Daichouhok raised his arms to his face and bended a slab of rock over himself which allowed the furniture to slide down onto the ground. Then as it made its way to Daisuke he lifted his arms as well, only this time he bent the earth into a boulder and stopped the furniture in its tracks. Yuzuru was completely bewildered by what had happened. All three of his sons were Earthbenders! From that point on all three boys began attending regular school as well as Earthbending school.

Akemi and Yuzuru were content with their family, but Yuzuru couldn't help but notice that his wife was a bit sad from time to time. One night he questioned her why and she told him that although she loved her family dearly, she really wished she could have a daughter she would spoil and love just as much as her boys. With that, the couple aimed to having a baby again, but for a second time, were shocked with their outcome.

The triplets now at the age of four could not believe that they were told that their mother gave birth to twin boys. That day Akemi joked with Yuzuru saying that it was never going to be possible to have just one child during a pregnancy. The family now at seven members was the biggest in their family's history. Akemi and Yuzuru loved their children and couldn't be happier. Yet they still wanted their little girl. So after another year the couple tried for one last time and thankfully with the spirits help gave birth to one baby girl named Saiki. Their family was now complete.

Saiki loved growing up with her family. Her eldest brothers (the triplets) were constantly Earthbending while her twin brothers, Komako and Komeko, were always enjoying each other's company. After five years the family discovered that neither the twins nor Saiki were Earthbenders. They didn't mind however, the family was perfect just the way it was. Growing up Saiki loved to play outside with her brothers and loved getting dirty. She was clearly not the little princess her mother was hoping for.

At five years of age, one day Saiki was outside with her brothers. The triplets were practicing their Earthbending. As Saiki watched she couldn't help but wish she herself was an Earthbender. She asked her brothers if they could show her some moves and they agreed. She figured that even though she couldn't bend the earth itself, it didn't mean she couldn't learn the technique of the moves behind it. As Daisuke showed her a move he accidentally bent the earth and sent two rocks toward his sister. They cut her at the top of both of her shoulders. She didn't know how to react because of how fast it had happened. Soon enough her father wrapped her wounds and she was as good as new. Even though this had happened to her she didn't care, she wanted to learn, and badly.

After five years of learning basic Earthbending moves with her brothers, her father took it upon himself to try to find her a master that would agree to teach his little girl the martial arts behind Earthbending. Of course it wouldn't be easy because who would want to teach techniques to someone who couldn't even bend the element? It seemed like a waste of time, but Yuzuru thought the training would be good for his daughter and that learning martial arts was something anyone could do, bender or not. To her luck, he found one and Saiki was thrilled. She one day hoped to learn all of the techniques to every form of bending, excluding air of course, and hoped to teach those who didn't have the ability to bend like herself.

Life went on and her siblings as well as herself got older. Her brothers Daichi and Komako joined the war, while the others remained behind. Komeko became very involved in his studies and went off to the university. The other two triplets remained at home and aided the family businesses. Saiki knew that she would have to leave sooner or later. When she told her parents about her plans they agreed to let her travel. Before leaving her family behind, Daisuke made her a bracelet from a very shiny stone with his Earthbending. She thanked him and knew she was going to miss her family dearly.

Now at twenty years of age, Saiki has been traveling through the Earth Nation hoping to reach the Northern Water Tribe. She's become very good at the Earthbending technique near an intermediate level and can't wait until she finds a Waterbender to help her learn Waterbending moves. Although she's been advised that learning Waterbending moves in the Northern Water Tribe may be near to impossible, she hopes and prays she can find just one person who will agree to teach her, just as her teacher did when she was ten. Despite the fact that she can't bend, she knows that learning and training helps connect both her body and mind. The power and beauty of these martial arts are what allow benders to bend as they do, but even as a regular person herself, she can understand their importance as well. With a goal in mind she will stop at nothing to achieve it.

6. What does your character like? Dislike? Saiki is not one to dislike very much. As an optimist she tends to love the world and everything about it. Personally she loves the outdoors, rough-housing and training. Being outside is what she prefers above anything else in life and staying fit is a must for her. Of course she also loves her family and likes the bond everyone shares with each other. The things she can't stand are disobedient children, people who belittle her, and frilly clothing. When people don't respect elders, including one's own parents, Saiki tends to become upset. She's very respectful and feels everyone else should be as well. Making fun of her also tends to lead to people getting hurt and don't even get her started on female clothing, she prefers pants and thats final. A fun extra is that she detests tea, she believes its a taste she never acquired a liking for.

7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad? Raised by two great parents left Saiki with many personality pros. Her good traits include being helpful, respectful, and strong. She's always one to request help from because she is very dependable. Saiki also loves taking on challenges and her most obvious trait is that she's a daredevil. She hardly, if ever, backs down from a challenge, and that in itself has made her a strong woman. Of course she has some annoying traits as well, one including her personality. Although some may love how outgoing she is, it can become quite tiring and hard to keep up with. She's very persistent and hard headed, and tends to intimidate those around her. Despite this she's very sweet and captures the hearts of many.

8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character? Saiki is not a bender, however she does practice the technique of bending. Although she cannot bend the elements, she trains in the martial arts behind the bending techniques. She trained for five years with her older brothers, then trained with a master for ten years. Her martial arts are at an intermediate level, and she knows Earthbending quite well. Her next techniques will be water and fire respectively (if she finds people to teach her).

9. What or who is important to your character and why? The most important thing to Saiki would most definitely be her family. Ever since she was born her family has always been there to protect her, support her, and love her. Her family dynamic is one filled with much emotional support and without them she knows her life would have been drastically different. In addition, her rock bracelet as well as her training is very important to her. Her bracelet allows her to keep a little piece of home with her no matter where she is, and her training is literally her life. Her goal is to eventually open a school, so she takes her sessions seriously and loves being a martial artist.

10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why? Saiki is very afraid of traveling into unknown worlds and territories. She has never once left home and it frightens her to know that she may never return. Although she wants to further her training, she does it at the expense of getting lost, getting harmed, or potentially dying. The world is a vast and unknown threat to her. However, her greatest fear would be the fear of never returning home. Saiki loves her family very much, and knows that she will return eventually. However, the fear of losing her brothers in war, and her parents tears her apart. She needs to return home before anything like that could happen, or she would literally die.

11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why? Her goal in life is to master all forms of bending styles and techniques. She hopes to further her knowledge in the history of bending art forms as well. Eventually, once she has mastered each technique, her main goal is to open a martial arts school for children who weren't given the gift of bending, like herself. She feels everyone deserves to have the opportunity to learn bending, whether bender or not. She feels as if she owes it to not only her father, but also the master who took her in an trained her.

Questions:
1. What is your character's name?
Daichi
2. Where is your character from?Ba Sing Se
3. What is your character's age?16
4. What does your character look like? smooth olive skin. almost feminine. dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Where's dark or plane colored clothing. (grey, tan, brown, black) to avoid attention.
5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far. Daichi grew up as a lower class citizen in ba sing se. His father walked out on the family when Daichi's mother got sick. Later that year his mother died leaving him in the care of his elder sister Terra. At first the two grew up on the streets taking shelter where they could, though eventually Terra raised enough money doing... odd jobs.... to afford a small two room house. However, even this was taken from him one day, after the knife vender, Chazzu killed Terra by accident during one of her.... odd jobs. Enraged Daichi fought and killed Chazzu, ran away, taking the vender's knives. On the road he's practiced wielding the knives to the point that he can use them all at basic level or higher. Also he's practiced stealth and thievery, but more out of necessity then a desire to hurt others. From then until the present, he's been wandering the earth kingdom looking for work and possibly a new home.
6. What does your character like? Dislike? Daichi has no particular likes or dislikes knowing that beggars can't be choosers, though he's distrustful of the rich, and hates bullies, having to deal with them all through out his childhood.
7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad? Daichi is friendly and polite. He's thankful for the good things, and tries not to dwell on the bad things. He's a thief by trade, but not by desire. He tries to pick his victims based on how cruel they are to others. However Daichi is shy and unsure of himself. This leads him to be indecisive and terrible at giving commands.
8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character? Doesn't bend. He has a basic knowledge of knives, which works well enough considering it's not something that takes a lot of skill. He has been completely self taught, rarely having company in his travels.
9. What or who is important to your character and why? Terra was important to Daichi, because she was the closest thing he's had to a parent. Despite his friendly nature he rarely keeps many friends, being constantly on the move. maybe a partner is all he needs though....
10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why? Daichi has little to fear, because he has little to loose. He is afraid that he'll die a worthless nothing with no influence on anything or anyone, , because most people he knows have not.
11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why? To make something of himself one day for the same reason as question 10.

Questions:
1. What is your character's name?

Sengjin

2. Where is your character from?
A small, unknown village from the Earth Kingdom

3. What is your character's age?
Seventeen years old

4. What does your character look like?
Sengjin, in his mind, looks like an average seventeen year old. His view of average is weighing one hundred and fifty-eight pounds and is five feet, ten inches. Sengjin has decent build, doing things such as push-ups and chin-ups occasionally. His other physical features include his dark, short hair, lightly tanned skin, his lack of facial hair, and his brown eyes. Another thing is that he has a mole under his left eye, which is a sign of good luck.

When it comes to what Sengjin wears, he likes to wear light clothing. He wears no head wear, but occasionally a straw hat if it's a sunny day and the sun's harsh rays get in his eyes. When it comes to his body, Sengjin likes to wear a light green colored shirt, mainly because it resembles the Earth Kingdom, which is where he’s from. For pants, he likes to wear shorts because it gives him more freedom to move around when earthbending. And finally, regular shoes that are built for comfort.

Sengjin doesn’t wear many accessories, but he does wear a bracelet that’s chained with small sized pebbles. It’s what he brings so he can, “earthbend on the go.”

5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far.
When Sengjin was young, he spent quite a long time moving around the Earth Kingdom. Why? It was because Sengjin’s father had a tough time finding the perfect spot of land to farm. Sengjin had a small family, it being his father, Euidong; his mother, Mai; and his sister, Jin. His father was a farmer, who was also an earthbender and would use his earthbending to assist him in farming. His mother was an artisan and would create an assortment of things to sell to travelers or tourists. Finally, his sister, who’s also an earthbender, would sometimes help the parents with their work.

After searching for several years, Sengjin’s father found the perfect spot of land to use, which was conveniently next to a small village. Sengjin was ten when they finally moved there. When Sengjin first moved there, he had some trouble adjusting to the new people. With the constant moving around, Sengjin had little time to make friends. This made him be socially awkward around the other kids. The first few months were tough for Sengjin, but he was able to overcome the struggle and befriend most of the people in the village.

Daily life was boring for Sengjin. Before he found out he could earthbend, which will be brought up later in his history, he would often study about the four nations’ history. From when he was ten to fifteen, he spent a long time studying and learning about the history of the world. But when he was fifteen, something magical happened. It was unexpected for Sengjin, unexpected indeed.

One day, when Sengjin was fifteen, he was helping his father clear the crops. As he was pulling them out one by one, he noticed that the earth was acting very strange. Whenever he would pull out a crop, the dirt would move in a very unnatural motion. At first, he didn’t think much of it, thinking that maybe it was the wind or his sister playing another trick on him. But Sengjin got curious. He thought that maybe, just maybe, he was an earthbender. Sengjin put down his basket of crops and got into a stance. He knew this stance because his sister always started with the stance when she was earthbending. Sengjin copied a motion with his arms and body that he remembered his sister doing, and hoped that it would move the earth. His first attempt failed. He didn’t give up though. He got back into the stance and tried it again. This time, he saw a little movement in the earth. After one final try, Sengjin managed to move a larger amount of earth; he earthbended for the first time.

Now that Sengjin was an earthbender, there was only one thing on his mind; and that was to practice, practice, practice. At first, he asked his father to help practice, but he was too busy with maintaining the farm, so Sengjin went to the next best person, his sister. At first, Sengjin’s sister wasn’t too excited about teaching the art of earthbending to him, but when she realized that she could beat him up on a daily basis, she agreed to train him. After constant beatings from his sister and long, hard practices, Sengjin eventually became as good as an earthbender as his sister. To get to that point, it took Sengjin a year and a half. However, despite learning from his sister and practicing for a year and a half, Sengjin was only able to master the basics of earthbending. Now that his basics were mastered, he needed to find a way to improve his skill of the art; he needed to find a master. But in order for Sengjin to find one, he had to leave his home.

That was hard to decide for Sengjin. Should he stay home, or find a master to become an even better earthbender? If he stayed home, then he’d be doing the same things over and over again and he’s been doing that for seven years! Seven years of doing the same thing every day was enough for Sengjin. He was ready to leave home; ready to explore the world, instead of studying about it. When the moment came, their parents actually encouraged Sengjin to search for a master. They said that their sister was a better worker anyway and all he did was slow them down; they even complained at Sengjin's poor care of their koi collection. While it wasn’t the greatest thing to hear from his parents, at least he could now leave and journey through the world.

6. What does your character like? Dislike?
The thing that Sengjin likes the most, is Earthbending! Other than that, he enjoys eating sweet-tasting food, playing instruments, and playing sports. He also likes people, because without them, he would probably go insane!

Sengjin dislikes a lot of things, but to narrow it down to a few options, they are spicy food, rude people, and people who talk too much. Spicy food is something Sengjin dislikes because it doesn't sit well in his stomach; eating something spicy could cause Sengjin to have stomach aches for hours. Rude people is obvious; they're rude. The same with people who talk too much; they simply talk too much.

7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad?
A good trait that Sengjin has, is that he has a good sense of humor. He's also careful to make sure he makes a good impression when he meets somebody. He also tries to be as kind as he can, although sometimes it fails, and also tries to help people in any way he can.

A bad trait that Sengjin has, is that if he's mad, he'll show it. Many people often hide the fact that their mad so other people don't have to worry, but depending on how angry he is, Sengjin will most likely show his anger to other people. He can also be lazy when it comes to "boring" things, such as things that require cleaning or anything chore-like.

8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character? Sengjin's an Earthbender, but has only mastered the basics. His sister is the one who taught him Earthbending.

9. What or who is important to your character and why? Sengjin's sister is an important person in his life, because she was the one who helped teach him how to Earthbend. He also finds that his parents are important in his life, because after all, they made him. The three of them helped Sengjin grow and mature, which is why he's glad that they're in his life. Without them, Sengjin could've turned into a whole different person.

10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why? Sengjin's biggest fear is snakes, simply because they're very creepy and have an horrible image to their name. Another fear that Sengjin has is the Fire Nation. Throughout his life, whenever he heard of rumors of the Fire Nation, it was always about their ruthless aggression towards people and how cruel they were. Sengjin has developed an image in his head, that people from the Fire Nation can't be trusted. At all.

11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why? His current goal is to become an Earthbending master. Sengjin loves the art and wants to be as best as he can be, not the best in the world, but if he was then that'd be a great accomplishment for him. His also has many goals for the future, but basically, he wants to live a happy life. He wants to be able to live somewhere where the war is nonexistent and the people are kind and friendly.

Daichi - I know this isn't required, but the answers to 4 and 5 can't be what were in your profile. I know what was there has to be better, but I can't tell with what you put here. You need to expand on #'s 6, 7, 9. I would write out #11, and on both #10 and 11, why is it important that he do more than other people have not?

Sengjin - I would expand on #9, and on #11, why is that important? That was part of the question. :)

Questions:
1. What is your character's name?
Tenshio Kasora

2. Where is your character from? The Northern Water Tribe

3. What is your character's age? 17

4. What does your character look like? Tenshio is of average height. He is thin, with little muscle. His eyes, a deep blue in color, are his most prominent feature, as they (along with his clothes) identify him as a member of the Northern Water Tribe. His skin is dark in tone, the typical color of his people. His face is marred by a small scar on his left cheek from a fall when he was younger. There is another, slightly larger scar on his left shoulder from the same incident. The rest of Tenshio’s body is unmarked except for a tattoo. The tattoo is of the Moon and Ocean spirit koi fish forming a circle around his navel. Tenshio’s hair is black, goes down to his neck, and is a bit disheveled. Parts of it stick up, as he doesn’t do much with it.

As far as clothing goes, Tenshio isn’t very picky. He usually wears a navy blue robe tied with a white sash, and blue pants. He wears brown shoes. He isn’t fond of jewelry, but he does wear a necklace with the symbol of the Water Tribe on it. The necklace was made by his younger brother, and so Tenshio wears it to have some connection to his family even when he is far from them.

5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far. Tenshio was the first child born to Akira and Hiroko Kasora, his brother Kohaku, born two years later, being the second. The boy’s childhood was unremarkable. He spent most of his time playing with his brother. Once he became old enough, and his father judged him capable, Tenshio was able to help his father go ice-fishing. He enjoyed the mundane task, if only because it meant spending time with his father.

It was on one of these fishing trips that Tenshio discovered his Waterbending ability. His parents were both benders, and he often copied the movements he saw them make when they manipulated water. It just so happened that one time he did this it actually worked. His father was ecstatic, and immediately began to teach Tenshio what he knew. When Kohaku discovered his Waterbending ability a few years later, their father taught him as well. The two boys quickly turned the lessons into a competition, and constantly sought to outdo each other. It was lucky that their father was there, because often only his quick intervention was able to prevent one of his sons from injuring himself with some foolish stunt. Of course, he wasn’t able to prevent everything, and Tenshio did earn a couple of scars. After that the boy became much more cautious when bending.

Tenshio had always had an interest in the other nations. He quickly learned to distrust the Fire Nation hate the war, but he still wanted to learn more about the world outside of his home tribe. Of course, he knew that the only way to do that would be by traveling. Starting when he was fifteen, he began to try to convince his parents to let him travel the world. For a while they were very firmly against the idea, as they believed that he was too young and that he wouldn’t be able to survive on his own. Finally, when he was sixteen, almost seventeen, they relented. For the next few months before the teenager left, Tenshio’s father taught him all the survival skills he knew and any he could learn from other men in the tribe. In the last weeks leading up to his departure, the two bought any supplies he might need on his journey.

Finally, when they could delay him no longer, his parents let him go, with the promise that he would write to them every once in a while, so they would know he was still alive. He agreed, and set off for the Earth Kingdom. He is there still, wandering around, stopping wherever catches his eye. He hopes to find someone to travel with, as he’s gotten tired of being alone.

6. What does your character like? Dislike? Tenshio loves Waterbending, mostly because of how beautiful it is. He also enjoys pleasant conversation over tea, just for the simplicity of it. He enjoys traveling, as he enjoys being exposed to more things than just the Northern Water Tribe. Ice does tend to get boring after a while. The young man also likes talking to people about and helping them with any emotional problems they’re having. He likes feeling helpful.
Tenshio hates being in large crowds. When surrounded by a lot of people, he feels as though he’s going to be crushed. He also detests conflict of any kind, and will seek to avoid it at any cost. He also dislikes being anywhere without water, as that makes him feel powerless.

7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad? Tenshio is very sensitive to others’ emotions, and longs to help people with any problems they have. He also is very mild-mannered, and slow to anger. He is usually easy-going, and up for just about anything.
However, the young man can be very stubborn when it comes to disagreements. He can often have trouble seeing other sides of an issue. He also has trouble expressing his emotions to others. Tenshio has a lack of self-confidence, and sees himself as inferior to other people.

8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character? Tenshio Waterbends at an intermediate level. He was taught by his father. Since leaving home, his progression has stalled, though he still practices when he can.

9. What or who is important to your character and why? The most important person to Tenshio is his younger brother Kohaku. He is very protective of the younger man, and is (or rather, was when he was home) constantly seeking to keep him from harm. He sees himself as responsible for Kohaku’s well-being, and thus sees any trouble that befalls his brother as a personal failing. Tenshio’s parents are also important to him, of course, and he loves them just as much as he does his brother.

10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why? Tenshio is afraid of the Fire Nation, and any Firebenders who support the war. He also fears death. He knows he’ll go to the spirit world after he dies, and he’s fine with that, but that doesn’t make the idea of not being alive any easier to accept.
Tenshio’s greatest fear is himself. He has killed people before (Just bandits. It was self-defense really), but that scares him. He figures it’s easy to go from self-defense to murderous rampage. The fear is ridiculous, and he knows that, but he can’t shake the feeling that he’ll one day become some sort of serial killer.

11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why? Tenshio’s immediate goal in life is to find a traveling companion. He has realized how boring traveling alone can be, and longs for someone to talk to as he explores the world. His long term goal is to fall in love, settle down and start a family. He’s experienced life as part of a happy family, and would like to do so again.

Questions:
1. What is your character's name?

Bei Zhi Sai

2. Where is your character from?
Bei is from the Northern Water Tribe; eastern area.

3. What is your character's age?
Bei is fifteen years of age.

4. What does your character look like?

Bei wears a deep blue vest, with the stomach cut out. This vest is adorned with multiple rips and tears from his time within the wild. The features of this vest are that it has no sleeves and is a v-neck. Under that is a lighter blue, long sleeved, and V-neck top. This top has less damage than the vest due to its greater thickness. This item of clothing is more tight around the torso than the arms. The arms are fluffier, with white strips at the middle of both upper arm areas. There is a dark blue, rope-like strip that covers the forearms in horizontal wrapping. This rope matches the color of the V-neck vest except for the very tips ending at his palms where it is white. Under that is a light undershirt that is white and has no battle damage due to its protective upper layers. It is viewable from his neck as it is not a V-neck. Around Bei's neck is a white cloth choker that holds a betrothed stone. He does not wear his mittens however he does have them.

On Bei's lower body, he has on blue bottoms that are wrapped at the waist with a light blue tarp. It matches his V-neck vest's color. These bottoms have been damaged with scrapes on the knees and tears. The tarp is part of his tribe's symbol, held together by a light blue band. Bei's tarp drapes down just past his knees. This tarp has a long, thick, and white line going down a dark blue cloth. The dark blue is slightly lighter than his bottoms and top. The white line ends in a loop that combines both ends. At the bottom are three white, three-dimensional icebergs. The middle being a small bit longer than the outer ones. At his knees, his pants cut off to white knee guards; circular in shape and very scuffed. From there he has stocking-like items that are light blue, and opaque. These go just past the ankles and end at his dark blue mukluks. On his outer right thigh there are three water skins. The water skins are dark blue on the outside, with a light blue center on both sides of them. All of them are attached to each other tops to bottoms. They all have a white cap on their openings. Each of these water skins holds two-thirds a gallon of water in a circular shape. While this may be heavy, Bei has gotten use to the weight over a period of five years. They are all connected to long brown band that go around his left shoulder. Along with this he has a blue coin purse capable of holding up to one-thousand coins; currently containing four-hundred gold pieces. His shoes are rather scuffed up as they have been walked in for a very long time. They are a pair of matching, dark blue slip-ons that accommodate his feet and shape to them. From the white knee guards are a set of obviously matching light blue opaque stockings that wrap around his feet.

Bei is a slightly tanned boy who has blue eyes, and dark raven black hair. His dark raven hair glints a dark blue in light. His nose is small and petite. Bei has a strong defined chin, and his lips are light and delicate. His eyes are medium ovals with aqua blue irises in the middle. His hair is naturally long, and is shoulder length. However this long hair is held up by a light blue band in an upwards pony tail that keeps it in a "Warrior Wolf Ponytail". This warrior's face is framed by long, thick locks of hair. These locks slightly curve at the middle and point at his chin, which they almost touch. At the back of his head, behind his ears, are down-facing, thick locks as. They get shorter as they reach up to his ponytail. His ears, that go between the layers of his front and back spikes, are tiny cute circles. While Bei's body looks to be quite delicate, and not very hairy at all, he is quite athletic. His muscular structure is toned, and his stomach is tightened. Young Bei is six feet one inch tall and weighs one-hundred sixty-four pounds. His waist is thirty-three inches wide which is perfectly healthy. Bei's big boned, as when he wraps his fingers around his wrist, the thumb and index fingers do not touch. The arms of this young warrior comes down to his thighs.

5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far.
A year before young Bei was born, his father was a sailor on a ship coined "The Ice Queen" for it's war capabilities. The Ice Queen was a decommissioned war ship turned fishing ship. The crew never expected a woman, unconscious on a piece of drift wood. The beautiful woman came back with the sailors to the northern tribe. This beauty was completely soaked and on the verge of death from hypothermia; she wouldn't stop shivering. One of the sailors was a young master of waterbending, who cared for her on the ship and back home in the northern tribe village. After a week of bed rest, the woman slowly regained consciousness, and thanked her sailor rescuers. She revealed to the man that cared for her, that her name was Zhilan Hues. The waterbending master revealed himself to be Zhong Sai the water philosopher. Zhong explained to her that she was unconscious for a week since they found her out in the ocean and took her home. She was escaping firebenders that had ransacked her caravan during her travel to Ba Sing Se apparently. However she did not seem to remember how she was stranded out in the ocean, so far away from the mainland. They spent time together after that, talking and getting to know one another. Eventually becoming good friends, and going on adventures together; even the occasional date or two. However Zhilan seemed guarded, and always had a slight lean to the south in a matter of speaking. The woman wished to go home and see her family again; from Zhong's perspective. The beautiful woman from the sea was homesick; showing itself in deep sighs and sorrow.

Regardless, the next ship that would take her back to Ba Sing Se wasn't going to arrive for another six months. Eventually this beauty started develop a deep emotion that overturned her homesickness. However so steadfast she was to going Ba Sing Se, and in turn going home, her resolve softened as she began to fall in love with the enigmatic Zhong. Zhong returned her feelings and gave her a betrothal necklace, that he hand-carved himself, as a token of their engagement. In three months, they were married near the sea where Zhilan was found. After nine months, they had a son. The son was named Bei Zhi Sai, taking the first letters of his mother's name as his middle. They lived together happily for about a year until firebenders attacked. They were pushed back, but many people, including Zhilan were taken prisoner as a result. Once the young master of waterbending discovered they had ransacked his home while he was with Bei, Zhong raged. Scaring and attacking the firebenders as they forcefully pulled his wife to the boat. He attempted to save her as they dragged her into the door of their ship, but all he could save was the betrothal necklace that was accidentally cut from her neck. Zhong had severely burned his forearm protecting Bei and the necklace once his wife was gone. Zhong was forced to raise Bei without a mother to help. Zhong could not abandon Bei, nor leave him with a close friend, for he had none except the crew. The crew he knew could not take him as they were in a ship with not very accommodating for an infant. The bending warrior always told his son the story of the woman from the sea, and how the story was about his mother. He had also told him that one day she would rescued from her prison and Bei would actually meet her with his eyes. During the return of the Avatar, Bei was training with his father as a waterbender. He was fourteen at the time and had been training for ten years.

Bei first manipulated water when he was playing in a puddle as a four year old. This youngster was splashing it, giggling at the odd ability he had just realized. His father recognized that his son could learn the specialization that he himself mastered. During Baker Bei's training with his father, he was instilled with many waterbending tips, guides, and disciplines; waterbending moves too of course. The key attributes of his training was restraint, spirituality, humility, and passion. A young water user grew with his father's teachings and strength. The bond between he and his father was greater and greater as they continued to train together. An eternal image of his father was molded not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. A very good man was growing from all of this tutoring. Like a plant, he grew and thrived from water and its usage on him. Eventually he became a very confident bender of the water tribe. The sparkle in his father's radiant eye. Zhong wanted his son Bei to become a great waterbending master, so that he can serve the village as Zhong has. Bei sought to achieve this goal in his training, not only to make his dad proud. The transformation of Bei to a confident waterbender was a purpose to an end. The end being that finally Henpecked Baker Bei would be a warrior of honor and respect; not of power. The title of "Baker Bei" was given to him by his friends because of his innate cooking skills, which he inherits from his mother. This is another fact that the enigmatic Zhong is quite proud of his son for. While even though Bei can do more than baking, and the fact that his skills aren't even specifically for baking, the name "Baker Bei" was catchy.

To the point of the invasion of the northern tribe, Bei was a strong waterbender, and made his father quite proud. When the fire nation attacked the northern tribe for a fourth time in Zhong's life, they both fought. Bei and his father were at the front lines, secretly, fighting them back with others. They bother were respected and known just like all the other waterbenders. However Bei was injured and his father along with him during a fight with two mastetrs of firebending. They would have been dead had it not been for fellow waterbenders and his father's fellow sailors coming to the rescue at the last moment. At close to present time, his father was growing sick and there was nothing that the healers could do. Despite Bei's increasingly pushy attitude, and even eventually learning a limited amount of healing for himself, his father died in less than a way he deserved. Before his father died, Bei was given the betrothal necklace his father had been holding onto. Zhong told the story of "The Woman From The Sea" for one last time so that his son could a description of his mother one last time. After a heartfelt goodbye he passed away quietly. Bei tasked himself with finding the woman from the sea to honor his father's dream of seeing her again. His father's old crew, who respected Zhong too much to let his son down, took his son across the sea to inland south. Bei was packed with his father's given inheritance of four hundred gold coins accumulated over his father's forty-seven years of life. With a coin purse and a water skin that held a gallon of water, Bei set off on his journey to rescue his mother from the fire nation. Now each night he sets up camp, young henpecked Bei tells himself the story of "The Woman From The Sea" while looking at the moon. Repeating a story he knows by heart to remind himself of what he never wants to forget.

6. What does your character like? Dislike?

Like all waterbenders, he has a special affinity for the moon. Not only that, but Bei feels the moon is very lonely, like he is. Zhong is my character's father, a man who raised him, taught him waterbending, and showed him what it's like to be a man. Now that his father is dead, waterbending is one of the only thing that Bei has left of him. A natural thing that his father always said he had in common and got from his mother, was his cooking skills. The simple reason that Bei likes Elephant Koi fish is that he always wanted to ride one and have one as a pet.

The dislikes of this waterbender are his main enemies and pet peeves. While Bei generally dislikes all fire nation, he recognizes that a lot of them are innocent. As a waterbender he specifically hates pollutants, especially in water. Unfortunately it takes the combined efforts of a waterbender and earthbender to cleanse water easily. Being defenseless is a trait that Bei hates incredibly. He does not hate the defenseless, he hates being defenseless. Obviously that means he also hates being bound as this is the only way to make a waterbender virtually defenseless. Under-confidence is a trait that this waterbender will treat with disdain. Bei hates being called henpecked because he has to explain that it is not because he is dominated by women he dates, but because of the way his hair is.

7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad?

romantically oblivious in a cute way. Bei's first greatest trait is that he is a natural chef. This is a quality that was inherited from his mother, which adds to its mystique. Not only that, but he has a large mental capacity and larger intelligence. Able to learn and withhold information greater than the average person. A skill that is not well realized is that Bei is charismatic. His personality conveys a sense of chivalry and friendliness that comforts people. Through his training in waterbending he has developed spirituality and understanding. Seeing beauty in those who have none, and finding goodness in those who seem to exhibit none.

Of course there are great hindrances that he possesses. Bei is inappropriate at the wrong times. While his actions can be seen as a joke to his friends, those who do not know him will see them as rude. Also this young warrior is incredibly shy. Joining Yugoda gained him attention from the other women of his age that were in the class. A lot of them liked him, but he was too shy to say anything. The social skills that Bei possesses are awkward. He is able to convince a noble of even the most outlandish. Although Bei is very bad when it comes to non-persuasive techniques. A weakness he has is that even though he can be attracted to females, he is horrible at advances. When a woman presents him with a romantic advance, there is not clue in his mind about it; romantic subtly is lost on him.

8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character?

Bei Zhi Sai is a waterbender who was taught by his father, who is a master. Bei's level of waterbending is to the point where he can perform most basic level bending, some advanced bending, and a limited knowledge of healing. This is all due to the eleven years of teaching from his father, Zhong. Bei has high regards for his father because of it. Bei has trained for over eleven years now, since the age of four, in the art of waterbending. Not only is he incredibly capable at waterbending, he is a great fighter with the use of Yang style Tai Chi, which is exactly what waterbending is composed most of. With eleven years he has developed flexibility, spirituality, and increased visuomotor skills. During his eleven years of personal tutoring by his father, he picked up some advanced bending abilities that most capable benders are able perform. Among these is the bubble ability and water spout ability. At the time of his father's death, Bei became angrier that healing was not helping his father's ailment. Eventually the waterbender joined a class of women who were studying healing arts. Yugoda taught him an the women the ability of healing with waterbending. This was however limited because his father died after three weeks of getting into the training. Bei stopped training in two weeks to be with his father. As a result, Bei has very basic and limited skills with healing arts.

9. What or who is important to your character and why?

Characters that are important to the character are his father, his mother, the moon, and his waterbending. Bei's father due to the reason that he is the one who taught him waterbending, raised him, told him all the stories of his mother, and even showed him what it was like to be a true warrior. In many ways, Zhong, Bei's father, lives on through Bei. His mother is very important to him not only because it is his goal to find her, but because he made a promise to his father. Before his father died, Bei made a vow to him that he would find his mother for his father.

The moon has a special place in Bei's heart because he is often as lonesome as the moon. As a boy he always commented that he had an affinity for things that were as lonely as he was; the moon included. Another such thing that is of great importance to him is his very own waterbending. This is one of the only things that Bei has left of his father now that he is gone. All of the teachings he has ever gotten from Zhong was special and important to him. Now the waterbender strives to master his element.

10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why?

My character is afraid of the fire nation, being defenseless, and failure. Main reason being is that he made a direct promise to his father that he would save his mother. Failure to do that would mean being captured, made defenseless by the fire nation. The greatest fear of Bei's is being overwhelmed by the fire nation, made a POW, and never being seen again.

11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why?

Bei Zhi Sai's goals are to find his mother and if possible, save her from the fire nation. Bei made a direct promise to his father, who was on his death bed, to find his mother for him. Not only this, but the young warrior has always wanted to meet his mother. She was called "The Woman from the sea" adding to the mystique. Another goal of his, is to master waterbending, in honor of his father. Bei's father was a master waterbender and Bei hopes to be just as good if not the same. In the morning he goes as far as to do regular training regiments. Usually he won't miss a day when it comes to his training.

Bei - #4 - I can't believe I'm going to say this, but you being unnecessarily descriptive. We don't have to know every detail of his outfit, or how big is pupils are etc... That stuff is pointless, personally, for us to know.

#5 - Considering that Bei is only fifteen, I find it very hard to believe that he was on the front lines when he's not even old enough to be in the Army yet.

Other than that, I think it's fine, but I would watch out for being unnecessarily descriptive in your character's appearance. I could take out 3/4 of that and it would be just fine.

Questions:
1. What is your character's name?

Haruki Fushicho
2. Where is your character from?
North Chung-Ling, or Fire Fountain City
3. What is your character's age?
He is twenty-six, having turned that age late Autumn.
4. What does your character look like?
Haruki Fushicho looks a little shorter than average height. He is fit and in great shape. His amber eyes seem to attract people to gaze into them, even if one sees the true nature behind the mask. Those amber eyes show that he is actually quite sad internally, even if the rest of his face denies it. His cocky attitude just makes people want to watch him even more. His smile is that quirky smile that makes him seem like he knows a secret...which he does. When he lies or is upset, he tends to cross his arms in front of his chest or wipe his face. When his armor is not on, his three scars are more obvious. The two identical burn scars on his forearms were obtained from his own father at 16, a symbol of becoming a Fushicho man. The vertical scar on his neck was gotten from when the Fire Nation Navy attacked the Northern Water Kingdom. A waterbender almost killed him with a water slice of some kind to his throat. His normal, out of armor garb is a tight fitting, short sleeved undershirt, with sleeve bands covering his forearms and flaring out over his hands. He wears shorts, but then also wears cloth of a similar kind to the shorts that strap on above his calf and flare out over his feet.
5. Give a detailed history of your character. Who are your parents? Are they alive? If not, what happened? Tell us what happened to character in their life so far.
The newest Fushicho was born to Hikaru and Kurayami one late Autumn day. Haruki grew up in what was Once North Chung-Ling, but recently had it's name changed to Fire Fountain City. He made friends and followed the rules his mom set for him. His dad was usually either working in the navy, or he was teaching Haruki how to bend. When the boy finally did bend fire, his father was quite pleased. At the age of eight, the heir to the Fushicho family had been training in fire bending for half his life, and actually bending for a full year.

That was when Yuki came into his life. They both were happy with each other and were friends from the get go. He can not remember if she introduced him to Kuai Ball, or if he did, but they both loved the game and would train at it when not in school or he was training to firebend. At ten, Haruki was taken by his father and put deep into a cave where he had to find his way out using various elements of firebending. That was where he first found the cave hoppers, first one jumped on him, then another, then another until he was covered in the insects. That had been his first real failure and his father had made sure to let him know how displeased he was with his son. That was when the amber eyed boy was sent to train with an official firebending school due to the fact that his father had more important things to do than 'sit and watch his son fail'. Haruki had trouble bending for a week after the incident, but his mother was always there for him and she had finally gotten him out of the slump he was in.

At fifteen the boy had started going out with Yuki. She and him had been betrothed to eachother, so them dating was to be expected. Haruki was now proficient in firebending and was poised to join the military, knowing that when he joined, the navy would supply him and Yuki with a nice house and they wouldn't have to worry about food. The amber eyed Fushicho heir made a close friend who went by the name of Kyoki. The three of them all would play hard, live hard, and train hard. On Haruki's sixteenth birthday, his father decided to grace his son with his presence and they spared. Haruki had held his own, mostly because he knew how to find his father's weak points and taunting the man had always been a way to get him to be sloppy. In the end, Haruki still couldn't match his father's skill and lost their match. The final gift his father bestowed upon his son was he tied the Fushicho heir to a post, forearms together on the opposite side of the post from the rest of his body, and bent fire onto the outer side of his forearms. Even though Haruki begged his father to stop, the man wouldn't until there was a deep burn on both arms. Haruki fell to the ground and cried when he was untied. He wouldn't be able to firebend for a month after this. When his father untied him and he sank to the floor, he tried telling his son that he was now a man. That was when Haruki Fushicho, through tears, said for the first time, "For all I care, you could burn!"

He joined the Fire nation Navy as soon as he could. His dissent from the goals of the Fire Nation had already been going for some time now, but he joined nonetheless. He had successfully spread rumors without them being pinned back on him. He had also successfully sabotaged a navy ship or two as he went up in the ranks, eventually getting to 5th Chief Warrant Officer. During the invasion of the North Water Kingdom, Haruki got into a four person fight with an advanced waterbender an intermediate waterbender and another advanced firebender, and he held back. He was trying to keep from killing the man, but the man had no objections to killing him and sent an ice spear into his throat. It was commonly assumed that Haruki would die right then and there, but some miracle allowed him to survive to fight another day.

Haruki joined the Resistance when, much to his disturbance, he was approached by a member. He had thought his actions had been secretive, but that made him almost paranoid. Yuki and Kyoki had been kept in the dark of him joining the resistance. On Haruki's 24th birthday, also his wedding day to Yuki, brought about the most miserable day of the firebender's existance. The amber eyed officer was abandoned at the altar by Yuki, who fled with Kyoki. Haruki kept playing his life over in his head from then on, he would think that if he had paid more attention to her, would Yuki have stayed with him? Was he becoming his father? No one could get him out of his firebending slump for a full month. He was getting criticized at work for just going through the motions, and not actually putting any passion into his training. Even Hikaru, Haruki's real father, had shown concern by patting his son on the back before leaving for duty again. Makino, the leader of the resistance got him out of his slump by being a father figure to the depressed man.

Now, Haruki puts all his effort into furthering the resistance's goals. Makino has become Haruki's father figure to whom he looks up to.

6. What does your character like? Dislike? Haruki has a tendency to enjoy music from all cultures. His favorite instrument is the pipa, but he is also versed in the flute. He likes being in the 'loop' as he refers to it. Haruki also enjoys Kuai Ball an immense ammount and can regularly be seen playing against others when he has free time. He dislikes Pai sho, claiming it is an old man's game and that it isn't for someone with as much energy as himself. Delving deeper, He doesn't like to be ignored or forgotten. He feels that if he is forgotten he'll end up like his father, and that is his worst fear.
7. What are some good traits of your character? Bad? Haruki doesn't take failure well. When he does fail, he looses his burning passion to complete his goals. Haruki wants the world to be a better place, and he actively tries to help reduce crime and corruption. This firebender has, however learned impatience from being surrounded by it, no one around him was patient while he was growing up, so why should he be patient? He would much rather take matters into his own hands then. As long as he is doing something, and understands why it needs to be done, he wont start trying to do other things. Trust has also been a recurring problem with Fushicho men.
8. Does your character bend? What level of training is your character at? Who taught your character? Haruki is an advanced Fire Bender and a skilled weapons user preferring the whip chains and the spear to bladed weapons like swords, axes and daggers. His father taught him to bend fire until he got too busy and insisted he be sent to a fire bending academy where he learned more advanced skills. The amber eyed warrior is better at mid-range firebending than any other style. Too close and he feels off balance, too far away and he has too build up more momentum to get to them. On one occasion, he has even used a Kuai Ball as a weapon to hit a sneak-thief in the back of the head.
9. What or who is important to your character and why? Up until two years ago that question would have been answered by saying one word, "Yuki" but now that she is gone, he has immersed himself into the resistance. The adult firebender feels that the avatar won't be ready to face the Fire Lord, ever. He will never admit it, but it is thanks entirely to his father that Haruki has made most of his decisions, so therefore his father is extremely important in his life.
10. What or who is your character afraid of and why? What is your character’s greatest fear and why? Haruki Fushicho has many fears, and they all boil down to having originated from one source: His own father. His fear of cave hoppers stemmed from a training session with his father where he was plunged into a dark cave and they were crawling all over him. Every time he sees one, or something like it, he starts nervously scratching his skin. Also he is afraid of the dark for a similar reason, but this one is not a big fear, more just unease. Haruki is afraid of becoming invisible to those he cares about, or not being there when those he cares about need him. The bender is afraid that all of these will make him like his father...well...except for the cave hoppers, those things are just creepy!
11. What is your character’s goal(s) in life and why? His current main goal in life is to see that Zuko obtain the throne and become the true Fire Lord. This also means helping defeat Azula and Ozai when the time is right. Haruki would like to also see the Fushicho family become nobility, but that seems intangible to him. After that, he isn't all that sure, but if his main goal happens not too far in the future, he'd like to start a Kuai Ball league and get people from other nations and styles to play.

Looks good to me. I think the line about his attitude in the appearance is unnecessary, however.
