Its so hard to choose. >.< its either water or fire. hmmm... well actually air has to be around for it to be used unlike fire . Fire benders can create fire out of no where (literally) i know cause its in wikipedia or answers.com i'm not sure which.

Waterbenders use their Chi to master Waterbending. That's why their movements are somewhat slow and graceful and they'll attack suddenly.

hey with water you can also freeze your opponents vain thus killing him that be awesome if they showed that in the show but of course its a children's show so knowing kids shows there a 90% chance of them not showing it damn racist bastards

Well, the thing is. EArth and water are stronger than air and fire. Basically because they are solide objects, giving them more power to kick butt. But with air, you can fly, hover, smack people with air. What makes the fire nation so great is their shear number of benders. Just have one lone soldier and hes done, but an army is hard to take down. Same thing with eache bender, but fire is jsut most vulnerable. I just like fre because I like things being burned... burn.....................

ya i like fire but it's to destuctive and not to easy to control. It's more based on power and strength than being under control and balanced.

Even though I love fire bending, I'd be a water bender, its a lot more useful in my opinion than fire.

I don't know why, it's just I don't LIKE WATER. It just seems weak to me. I mean, you have to have water where ever you go. You have to bring a canteen or be near a stream, or something that has water. But with earth, you can just walk out side, find some dirt, and pummel people in the head with it. Sand, dirt, clay, rocks... you can find those pretty much everywhere. (Plus it's so much fun! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!)
