Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

Yeah but I don't think fast-food exist in the Avatar's world (and is it really a bending ability ?). This is a good idea, a McAang's. But it's not the Avatar's duty to make food (even if it looks good and funny). I'm thinking about something, if the Avatar is so powerful, why didn't he make buildings, like in the real world ? And a Wall Street. A Madison Square Garden, A Coliseum, An Eiffel Tower, some things like these.

No they built some frign huge temples. Unless you think that the monks were lazy and imported earthbenders to make it. Be we digress for the topic. Other good ablity is for earth benders to create sand storms.

Edit: Took out the huge gramer issues

I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be cool if airbenders could manipulate air in order to change sounds made by a musical instrument. Like if Aang met up with a guy who plays an acoustic guitar, and he could make it sound like an electric guitar. That would be so cool. Think if there could be a heavy metal band in the Avatar world. I think that would be pretty freaking awesome.

I recommend introducing yourself in the Newbie Introduction to get more help.
200 character minimum for posting.

And about all the posts.
Very possible that the Avatar could make a Thunderstorm. Using Waterbending for rain and moisture. Airbending for the wind and sound of thunder (if possible). Firebending for the Lightning. It works. In my opinion.

I think that Firebenders and Earthbenders could work together to control lava or magma. Maybe Airbenders can stop Firebenders from bending by creating a vortex around the Firebender, and fire needs oxygen to stay around. Also, Earthbenders can control sand (As seen in movie) and they can also change sand to sort of a rock, like Toph did to hold her feet in place.

Alright, I'm not sure if this post goes here, but on the big debate on whether Firebenders could bend lava or not... Well, I saw something, in the Avatar Day episode.

When Kyoshi was creating her island, she split the earth, and then bent the Lava from the earth, and it looked to me like she had used each elelment, so I was wondering... She bent the lava, so I thought that firebenders COULD bend lava, because it seemed as if since she had just bent earth, that she was bending fire... But I didn't know for sure...

That is what I was thinking. Just like in the episode of the Avatar State the Firebending Avatar bent a whole lot of lava. But then again that could just bring up he point that only Avatars are powerful enough in the element to pull that off.

No I pretty sure that bending lava is an earth bender ability after all lava is melted rock its not apart of fire beside the immense heat that can cause fire. But other than that lava doesn't have much to do with fire but then again neither dose lighting but yet fire benders and bend lighting so who knows

I concur with Yuan, lava is made of earth, and while lava may power up firebenders due to the heat, they cannot bend the lava themselves. Lava may be liquid earth, but it is still earth nonetheless. Like ice is solid water, yet waterbenders can still bend it. It all goes with the logic.

I have a question which was disturbing me for a while : someone said (and it's apparently right) that Earthbenders can magnitize their limbs to climb sheer walls or cliffs but where did we see that ? I watched all the episodes to find out but nothing (maybe I missed something but...still...).

I think that even if Fire benders can't directly control magma, they should be able to create it and cause eruptions. Eruptions happen when the pressure from the lave under ground is high enough to burst through the cooled magma above ground. When things in a sealed container are heated, pressure builds up, so they could force an eruption by heating the magma to even hotter temperatures, and by melting/using heat to weaken the earth that blocks the lava.

Instead could the earth benders just use like a rock or a stone to like stand on and climb up like any thing kind of like lifting you self up like flying beacuse in the episode that katara fakes earth bending then they lift like 10 people of the station or whatever but ofcourse the do use coal but what is the difference so tell me if im right.

Hey ! Nobody answered my question ! I wanna know where we can see an Earthbender magnitizing his limbs !! For the theory that Earthbenders or Firebenders can bend lava, I think they both could. Lava is melted Earth but it's a...kind of burning element. The lava/magma is melted Earth but how do you think it melted ? with fire. It's a...mix. Of Earth and Fire. And we saw Avatar Roku bending lava too in his temple. The lava is a pure expression of Firebending too. I think that if you ask Iroh, he'll tell you too. Oh, and I have another question. The plants, trees and all, are Earth, right ? So an Earthbender can control it ? (they use the power of the immense planet so that means they can)

So you wanna see an Earthbender magnetize their limbs well just pay attention to the episode where Toph began training Aang. Remeber the part where she made two long walls on either side of them? Well then she gathered rock all around her body in a sort of rock armor. that is classified as magnetixing her limbs. As for running up walls and such well that hasn't happened yet.

Thanks a lot, Lu Zong, I didn't even notice that ! And about my idea of Earthbenders controling plants ? It's possible. And another thing. I saw something I wanna understand. It's nothing but, remember Zuko in the North Pole, when he was swimming in the frozen water, how did he survive ? At this temperature, a body can't survive without some effects. And he swam during some time. Do you think he had some oxygen on his back ? It's impossible to swim during such time. What's his secret ? Because I'm not a good swimmer and if there's a way to breathe in the water, I really wanna know it.

I'm skeptical of earth benders controlling plants. We have already seen that water benders can did it. But I haven't seen an earth bender do it. I just don't see how it can happen. If you see a way, spell it out for me.

And as for Zuko in the North Pole, this is a cartoon. Zuko must have some secret breathing technique. It is also a trick of the mind to not breathe in water. Drowning victims resist breathing in water until reflexes force them to breathe it in. Until you reach that point, it is all about how long you can keep yourself from inhaling breathing.

I am positive Earth Bender use plants from th Swamp. So can water from the moister in it. But the real question is, we know the water and Fire spirits, but who are the Air and Fire? Are the squirrels, birds, moles, fish or something else? Tell me if you know!
