Well, Toph wasn't really "captured." I mean, she was taken against her will but it's not like she's being thrown into a pit filled with rabid fire benders, she's being sent home to her worried parents. But I do think it's the last we'll see of her as Aang no longer needs an Earth Bending Teacher.
My insight on the future and Book three
Now, I believe the Kyoshi Warriors are going to confront the Earth King and Katara, now his advisor, will realize who they are. They'll then easily kill the Earth King and capture Katara. Zuko finds out his sister's around somehow and goes to fight her. He too is captured. Aang will find out about this as soon as he finishes his Spirit training with the Guru. Then, Azula's trio plus an armada will attack Chameleon Cove where Sokka is. Aang will show up and face all three of the girls. He'll willingly bring on the Avatar state and actually maintain control over it. Aang defeats all three of them and frees Katara and Zuko. The navy is fought off by the Water tribe soldiers as well. Sokka is actually responsible for the victory and remains with his father as a Tactician. Katara, Aang, and Zuko then prepare for the eclipse assualt by training with Iroh. Aang learns a bit of fire bending and Zuko advances a bit. When they leave Ba Sing Se, Zuko takes over as Aangs Teacher.

Well, Zuko is a changed person. He himself betrayed the fire nation many times including giving the Avatar back his Sky Bison.
Aang and Katara kissed but Katara got pissed right afterward. And the crystals only light up in the dark, not in the pressence of true love. Remember the riddle "love is brightest in the dark."
In the finale, Katara and Zuko were in a lit up area, not a dark cave. I've only seen the preview once, but I think they were in a grove or something.
Gran-Gran might have meant that Katara was supposed to teach him Water Bending. Or, by traveling with the avatar, Katara would gain something. Like she's traveled the world, become a Bending Master and she's now an adivsor to the Earth King.
Besides, Aang is WAY too old for Katara. He's old enough to be here great great great grandfather.

Kalken, there is just a problem with that.
LOVE is brightest in the dark.
How could you kiss and the crystals light up if it wasn't even love? And when did she get pissed afterwards? She didn't get pissed! She blushed at the end and they were standing there, hands together! They hugged afterwards as well! They enjoyed all of it! Trust me, I remember these things as clear as day. The main reason I watch Avatar: Kataang. And the action and adventure. ^-^

While the theories on what Ozai's Angels and Long Feng's Dai Li buddies are going to do, I don't think they're 100% accurate. Everyone seems to be hitting the mark, but I think things will play out a little differently...
For one, I don't think Azula's cover is going to be blown immediately. In fact, I think it will continue to work just fine; and she, Mai, and Ty Lee will learn about Long Feng.
Now, look back at every episode that took place with Long Feng. The man obviously loves controlling the city and being in power. The Dai Li are everywhere and know about everything going on in the city. Azula obviously wants the Earth King dethroned and the city to fall. And as powerful as her and her friends are, they cannot defeat / take over an entire city on their own. So, what's the most logical course of action to take?
To free Long Feng and strike a bargain. More than likely; that in exchange for aiding in the overthrow of the Earth King and likely capturing Katara (and promising to get the remaining members of "Team Avatar"), Long Feng will be permitted to be the Fire Nation-appointed governor of Ba Sing Se after a successful coup.
As for Zutara ... who knows. The two ARE scheduled to meet up however, and all the evidence indicates Zuko will aid Aang and company; which in turn suggests he might not be so arrogant and hostile toward everyone. Katara included. So it's definitely possible, but we won't really know for sure. Guess we just have to wait for December 1st for the Crossroads of Destiny episode ^^

Sorry about that Kita, I rewatched Cave of Two Lover's and I realize I got my timeline mixed up. Aang said something about being dead is worse than kissing you and that's when Katara got angry. I thought that came after they lit up the crystals, not before. I retract my previous statements about the cave. But still, I think Zutara is better because their's less of an age difference.

I loved this episode. It is now my most favoritest ever. It was so amazing!!!
But I think the some of the things in the Earth King should have been on the season finale instead. Like Toph's capture, and Azula Kyoshi thing. 'Cause that would have been really really good, but I would be sooooo impatient to wait for the season premiere though.
I can't wait for the next ep. It is going to be great, there is also going to be a little Zutara action. Even though I'm more of a Kataang person Zutara will be interesting. Back to the Kyoshi girls, they probably are gone or most of them anyway.

Yoshiro, you are amazing for not talking about Zutara or Kataang. Maybe we should leave all of that chitter-chatter for the end of the season. Because then we can all look back and remember the whole season. The whole series! That would be awesome.
I have one theory though about Zutara.
If Zuko will be teaching Aang Firebending, which is so flippin' going to happen, Katara might take that as a trick. Zuko + Aang= Getting his throne back. Although he might have a "new self", his old self will probably kick in and want to capture Aang.
Oh, another theory!
You might call me crazy here, but what if he makes Katara fall in love with him just so he can get Aang? Oh, I'm a genius, oh oh, I'm a genius. -kidding, I just liked the sound of saying that in my head. although I am pretty smart. okay, done gloating-

If you're all talking about the Season Finale, I think you all misunderstood what it was. Because Zuko and Katara weren't in the cave of the two lovers. They were actually in some caves under Ba Sing Se, I think. Because in the Cave of the Two Lovers, the crystals are on the ceiling and they lead the way out. But in the cave where Zutara were, the crystals were in random positions, sometimes (really sometimes) on the ceiling, most of the time on the walls or on the ground. So I think they'll meet for some reason, but it's off-topic. We're supposed to talk about "The Earth King".
I think Azula, Mai and Ty Lee are there simply to capture the Avatar... I already said it, didn't I ? I mean think about it. Why would they try to kill the Earth King ? The only one who seems to be a serious threat for the Fire Nation is the Avatar. They already know (I mean, they're sure that) the Earth Kingdom can't do anything agaisnt us. For them, they just need to wait until Sozin's comet returns to make them stronger and then they'll be able to beat the Earth Kingdom. But they don't know about the solar eclipse so they don't worry at all. They think they just need to keep it up until the comet arrives and everything will be OK. Azula is there to capture the Avatar, and certainly Zuko if she finds out he's in the city.
The thing I'm waiting for is Long Feng's trial. The Dai-Li are going to free him, obviously. But before, he'll certainly be convicted. Then he'll trap Katara and throw the King in jail. Then he'll expell the generals from the city for his sake. BUT Aang will show up before all of that arrives and expell Long Feng from the city. Actually, I don't care about that part at all, I know it will be alright. What really troubles me is the fact that Toph will be sent back home, and Gaoling is at the other side of the Earth Kingdom from Ba Sing Se... I think Aang will need Appa a lot and I think Appa will have to show his great Airbending abilities.
"The Black Earth Spirit has..." *succeeds to stop him* (That was close... *sighs in relief*) "...spoken !!" (Man !!)
EDIT: And I forgot to say that Azula, Mai and Ty Lee were quite beautiful in Kyoshi Warriors uniforms (even Mai looks beautiful wearing it !!)

The reason Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee would try to take the city is because that's precisely what they were trying to do with the drill ... and it seems like an awful waste of time to go through all the effort to make the drill, get inside the city, find out that there's a conspiracy and potential coup going on, and then to turn around and abandon the whole idea. Yes they are very likely after the Avatar, but it's far more to their strategic advantage to take over the city once they find out Aang is gone. After all, they'd likely find out he would be returning eventually; what better trap than to have an entire city full of Dai Li waiting for him? Plus, Ba Sing Se is the last remaining Earth Kingdom stronghold; they may as well capture it while they have the chance.
Also as much as I favor Zutara over Kataang; they are not in the Cave of Two Lovers. For one, that's back at Omashu. Which is, for those of you who haven't looked at the maps, on the other side of the bloody continent. Seems like one hell of a trip without a flying bison.
And in case that's not enough to convince you people: the creators themselves have announced at a panel that it is NOT the Cave of Two Lovers.

I have a question about the Kyoshi costumes, how did Azula and co. get them?
Timeline of the Events in Question:
The Library-Appa is Stolen
Appa's Lost Days-We see Azula attack the Kyoshi Warriors
Appa's Lost Days-We see Appa being Captured
The Drill-Ba Sing Se is attacked
The Drill-The Drill is flooded with Slurry and taken out of action
The Earth King-Azula and Co. arrive in the Earth King's temple
Now, if Azula defeated the Kyoshi warriors before they attacked with the drill, then where did they get the costumes? The drill was completeley flooded with slurry and wouldn't the costumes have been destroyed? Even though it's a stupid question, it's bugging me.

Kalken, you've got some episodes backwards!
The Library
The Desert <—— Appa is stolen
The Serpent's Pass
The Drill
City of Walls and Secrets
Tales of Bai Sing Se
Appa's Lost Days <——- This is where Azula got the costumes
The Earth King
Yeah, the Drill came way before that! Just letting ya know!

I realize that but Appa was stolen at the end of The Library and Appa's Lost Days was a flashback episode. The events within it occured in the past. If Appa's Lost Days occured at that time then Azula left Ba Sing Se, then turned around randomly until she found the Kyoshi Warriors no where near the city . She should've met the Kyoshi Warriors before the Drill

No, she didn't met the Kyoshi Warriors before. Because the Drill "exploded", they had to run somewhere, and they ran to where the Kyoshi Warriors were. Unfortunately for the warriors, they found them. I know Appa's Lost Days was a flashback episode, but realize something. Every time Appa flew over a place where Aang had been, he missed Aang by a matter of hours. So it is pretty much right behind the present episodes.
I'm confuzzling myself at the moment.

Kita's right, Kalken. Appa's Lost Days was a flashback episode but not totally flashback. We saw what happened to Appa during the other episodes. I'll try something like you did but I'm not sure if what I'm saying is accurate :
The end of The Library: Appa is stolen
The Desert: The gang looks for him through the Desert and they find the Sandbenders who stole him. Meanwhile, Appa is sold to the beetle headed merchants and sent to the circus
The Serpent's Pass: They get across the Serpent's Pass while Appa tried to find them in the desert and just rested in a barn (where we can see Aang laughing in the Serpent's Pass meanwhile)
The Drill: Ba Sing Se is attacked by the Fire Nation but thanks to Sokka, the Team Avatar succeeds to take it down. I think it was after Appa was flying above the ferry where there was Uncle Iroh and Zuko during this. It's when he fought the Boar-Q-Pine.
City of Walls and Secrets and Tales of Ba Sing Se: They want to talk to the King and their tales... Appa is in the cave, waiting during one or two days when Suki shows up with the Kyoshi warriors. Then Team Avatar hunters (Azula, Mai and Ty Lee) comes and they fight the Kyoshi Warriors. That's when they get the uniforms. Then Appa flies to the Eastern Air Temple to find the Guru and everything that happens after that isn't in the episodes. Unless Tales of Ba SingSe was after Appa got to the Air Temple. That would mean they got it before...
I hope that helps everyone.

Okay, well, I guess I was wrong. I thought the attack happened somewhere far from Ba Sing Se. Still, wouldn't the unifroms be burnt at least? They seemed to be in perfect condition.
Another question; The Badger Moles show up everywhere in the palace, from statues on the stairs, to the Kings throne. In the Two Lover's episode, the Badger Moles are revealed to be the ones who first gave humans Earth Bending. If this is true, why is it treated as a beast in some places? Like one was used to clean up the ring in The Blind Bandit.
