Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

OKay for those of you who didn't see it here is a short summary...

The gang goes to the earth kings palace to try to convinve him of the war. Aftr getting past hundreds of guards they meet the earth king who is accompanied by Long Feng and the Dai Lee. Long Feng trys to have them arrested, but they prove to the earth king that Long Feng is lying, and bring him to the outer wall where he has Long Feng arrested. The gang gets letters from there family. Katara stays to help the earth king plan his attack on the fire nation, aang goes to see the guru who tells him that he will help controll the avatar state. Sokka goes to see his father, and Toph gets lead into a trap, and gets captured by those sketchy guys that her parents hired. Before the end of the episode it is revealed that 3 Kyoshi warriers have come to see and assist the earth king. The last few seconds it is revealed that the three warriors are actually Azula, Tai Lee, and Mai. hroughout the whole episode apparently Zuko is sick because of some spiritual crisis.

It is getting close to the finale of book two, which means that I will be deprived of Avatar for like 5 months. My personla favorite part of this episode was at the end when Azula and gang are really the Kyoshi warriors. Although once they said three warriors came to see you, I knew it was them. Azula will probably lightning bend the earth kings ass. As much as you all like to deny it, Azula is the most powerful individual in the whole show. However, Aang displayed a very impressive earth bending attack on the palace. I didn't know that he was that powerful yet, maybe Aang will actually be able to hold a candle to Azula next time he fights her, because by the way he is conveinantly saved every time he fights her.

Well those are my thoughts, you can catch the episode again at 11:30 tommorrow if you live on the east coast, I believe it airs on nickelodean, but it could be one of those other nickelodean channels. ;D

Mine's kinda long, so here goes. I also gave my own opinions. *cringes* Please don't hit me....

Oh my flippin' god. *heart attack* I was so excited that, you know, finally, another new Avatar episode. But I didn't expect it to be so...INTENSE!!!! I'm mean, wow! Toph and Aang can kick behind with Earthbending! And Katara's new moves! I mean, wow! And Sokka, well, uh, yeah, he isn't any good. Heh, I mean, he is, but not really in this episode "action"-wise.

Kataang, Katara's Favorite Things
My favorite part was when Aang got kissed by Katara! He almost told her too, but stupid idiotic Sokka. Ruining everything! And now the gang is split up, Katara will be so lonely, and Aang looked so depressed at the fact she wanted to split up. You could tell she wanted to be with him all the time, and now they are going to be apart for a very long time. *cries* I want to see Kataang in the next episodes! I do not want to wait that long!

Toph's Capture
Unfortunately, I really wish it was Toph's mother in the end. She needs an older adult figure to believe in her, not just her friends and, well, Appa and Momo! Frankly, I think this was a load of flippin' crap! I was so ticked! I was like, no way! Toph is supposed to see her mom! Screw you, writer person!

Zuko and his Spiritual Metamorphisis
God, that last part freaked me out. I literally screamed. Seriously, I thought his scar was going to be gone, I didn't expect him to look like Aang! Frankly, I think Zuko's spiritual metamorphisis is going to make him realize that if he helps the Avatar, he will be able to go home. Yeah, that's all I have to say about Zuko. Except he still looks hotter with that hairstyle! ^-^

Azula, Mai, & Ty Lee- What Are They Up To Now?
Dear God Almighty, another stupid move by Azula. If she hasn't realized, she is about as unlucky as her brother. Everytime she tries to overthrow someone that deals with her enemies, she is the one who loses! And frankly, with Katara still there, and half the Earth Kingdom Army on her flippin' side, Azula and her "friends" will lose again anyways! And be killed, I hope. Except Ty Lee. She's cool. Oh, and Mai. I like her attitude. Just like me. So positive, Mai. So positive. *sarcasism*

Hadoko- Sokka and Katara's Father
What if this is a trap as well? What if the Dai Li are trying to do a bit of "Tom Foolery" (someone used that in my World History Honors class today) and trying to kill Sokka and Katara to make it easier for the Earth King to ignore the war? *gasp* Maybe we'll get to see their father for once! Awesomeness!

Dai Li and Long Feng
Bull s***. I hate the Dai Li, I hate Long Feng, and I hate you if you like them. They tried to kill Jet! (Have they said he is dead yet? I dunno, I'm lost and confuzzled!) And the fact remains that he tried to brainwash the Earth King. How the war could be hidden from such a high authority is so wrong and...just so wrong!

In The End:
Here's how I want this season to end:
  • Aang and Katara finally get together
  • Toph's parents realize she isn't a little prissy doll anymore, but a true Earthbender with amazing power
  • Sokka finds Suki, alive, and decides to help her back to Kyoshi Island, where she will be safe and he will be able to train with her
  • Zuko decides to train Aang in Firebending, with a little bit of Iroh's help
  • Azula dies or at least goes back to the Fire Nation, shamed by her father and her accidents
  • The gang gets back together for one final time before Aang, Katara, and Toph head off to the Fire Nation with the Earth Kingdom Army behind them (Fire Nation isn't the place for Sokka, although I want him to show up with the Kyoshi Warriors in the end!)

Umm, I am sorry to say, that I think Suki is dead. Even though they never showed the final blow made by Azula.

However, where do you think they got the Kyoshi warrior costumes??? Yea proably from the dead Kyoshi warriors that they massacred in Appas lost days episode!

Sorry Suki fans but there is a 90% chance she is dead!! :'(

Its finally happened! Zuko finally had a mental breakdown!!! Its about time in my opinion.

As for the ending of the season.. There's going to be a whole lot of things happening at once.

All of you Zutara fans finally got your wish! I have a feeling that Katara is gonna fall for Zuko, which is gonna spin Aang in to a dimension of anger he's ever been in before. Which will involve a BIG fight between Zuko and Aang fighting over Katara.

One thing is dont understand is why Nick is off'ing a bunch of secondary characters. First Jet, now Suki. Chances are..Long Feng, Azula and her group are next on Nick's "List of Characters to kill off"

One the topic of Azula, There is gonna b e a big F*****g fight in Ba Sing Se, and while thats happening, Long Feng will attempt a coup with the Dai Lee... resulting in yet more character death

just my two cents... but overall .. one of the better episodes i have seen.

Suki might not be the one dead though! ^_- Think of the possibilities. Suki had, what?, twenty warriors with her as they were traveling around Bai Sing Se and the Serpent's Pass? The fact is, she had a 96.4% chance of survival! And Suki could have been seriously injured, causing Azula and her friends to "think" she was dead. They wouldn't kill of Suki without Sokka finding out first. And they would've shown something about it. Suki is a very major secondary character. She keeps Sokka going for some reason.

And I highly doubt, also, that they would kill off another one of Sokka's loves. Although the poor guy does seem to have the worst of luck...

Suki gone, yes she was frikin annoying and I will say all future girls on Avatar that will end up liking Sokka run away. That would be what 2-0 dead.

I hacen't seen it I still have two more hours but that episode sounds so awesome and Azula finally goes home. As for the whole hating Longe Feng that sucks I love Ba Sing Se for that reason it gives the show a mature attitude.

All in all I can't wait you just made this sound better then some BSG episodes.

Azula doesn't go home! She sneaks into Bai Sing Se dressed as a Kyoshi Warrior!

Oh, oh! *waves hands wildly* Theory on Zuko seeing his mother screaming help! While the Blue Dragon is saying "Sleep like your mother, Lord Zuko", I had a freakin' brain blast! Ozai put his wife into a deep sleep instead of their only son! I know, idiotic idea, but it might just work, because no one saw her really 'leaving' the palace, did they? Now I know she was wearing a cloak and all, but that was to give it the illusion of leaving.

Okay, so off the point, but I had to get it out.

Long Live Suki!

Awe that episode sounds awesome can't wait to see it and record it, I heard it started like five minutes earlier. That whole Azula thing looks pretty good now after reading that I am certain that they killed the Kyoshi warriors. Sucks for them, then again that fight was pitiful.

About Zuko's mom. Interessing, so she could still be alive.

I hope she is still alive. She seemed like the perfect Fire Lady. (The Fire Lord's wife)

Yeah, it did! I almost missed it too! I missed the intro, you know, the Water. Earth. Fire. Air. part. I record it every Friday when it's on so I can watch them all over the weekend. Crapizoids, means I have to re-record in the morning to get it regularly. Well, it is still good!

Yes, that episode was cool! I know I'm in California but I have DirecTV so I get the eastern and western station so I can watch twice as much! I loved the episode! Seeing Zuko as a Fire Lord was awsome! Hey, did anyone see the preview for the season finale! Either Zutara is real or Zuko's scar gets healed by Katara. I so hope it's not Zutara is true! Yes, I'm not a fan! But all of the clifhangers that the episode left us was cool! The season finale is 1 day before my birthday and the last one was on my birthday. My birthday is December 2 and the finale is December 1. Yeah, like any of you care about that...well, sweet episode! 8-)

*presses back-up button* Season finale? Preview? When? Where, on Nick? I didn't see it because I've got the lame-o version of DirecTV. Oh, snap! I've gotta get on You-Tube in the next week or so. They always post that stuff up. Wait, I watch Avatar every night weekly. ^-^ I won't miss a thing. Blargh!

December 1 is the day I get report cards, and hopefully I shall still have the television! Which I should, because I am an A+ Student! Not bragging.

I'm an A+ student too! The preview was during the credits or right after they finsihed the credits. You got to watch all of the show! If you have DirecTV why don't you watch it later? Or do you not have the Eastern and Western channel. Well, again totally sweet episode! I can't wait for the finale! I hope it is just as good as the last one!

I already made a post about this, just to point out. theavatarrp.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=show&action=display&thread=1163813312

anyway, suki and zuko's mom are dead. why you ask?

How am I sure Suki is dead?:

Azula is merciless. She threatened to kill a member of her crew for saying, "The tide will not allow us to port." She would not kill three of them to get there uniforms an let the rest run away. Second, I still think that Sokka will end up with Toph. I don't get why people whine about what happens. If Yue hadn't died, Sokka could have possibly stayed with her. I don't remember seeing what happened to that punk she was betrothed to.

How am I sure that Zuko's mom is dead?:

Let's take a logical point of view for once in our lives people. Now let's think of the phrase: "Sleep like your mother, Lord Zuko." Lethal injection is a manner of killing animals. It is also referred to as "putting them to sleep." I wasn't necessarily saying that she was lethally injected, but either way, she died.

And as I ponted out in my post, I believe Zuko and Katara were in the cave of two lovers. My reason for this was that there seemed to be crystals around them in the preview. Plus, what better irony than having Zuko and Katara showing their feelings for eachother in the same place that Aang and Katara almost made out (they may have when their light went out, but I doubt it).

And this is just a small sidenote that I am unsure of:

Jet's death:

They had to kill him, otherwise Jet, Smellerbee, and Longshot would have to accompany either Aang, Sokka, Katara, or Toph. This way, they're all alone. And if they were with Katara, Zuko would have trouble getting in the mood with Jet all up on Katara (you know what I mean!! ;D). We may never learn what happened to them. But Katara said that they had been lucky for an hour before they departed for the palace. This could lead us to believe that the Dai Lee found Smellerbee and Longshot while concealing the facility, or in a short time Longshot and Smellerbee managed to carry Jet's body upwards to the surface.

That was personally my favorite episode. It had so many different things happening at once I couldn't get my eyes off the T.V. My favorite part was when the Kyoshi Warriors turned out to be Princess Azula, Ty Lee and Mai. Maybe Ba Sing Se will finally fall to the Fire Nation. GO FIRE NATION!!!!!!!

Some things I liked, and what I didn't like.
I liked what the Earth King says when the gang breaks into the palace "plus, you've broken my big fancy door"

I didn't like how the gang is spliting up. Toph is getting sent home, Katar's staying in Ba Sing Se (and hooking up with Zuko as the preview hinted. The season finale isn't until December so we got at least one more episode), Sokka's going to hopefully join his father and actually learn to fight, and Aang is headed to the Eastern Air Temple. This means the stories are going to scattered in book three and going to be alot harder to follow.

I'm wondering if the Guru is an air bender. I know he just lives in the temple but he knows about the avatar state and maybe he's just an air bender is hiding. Kinda like obi-wan kenobi in episode IV.

I also like how my theory about Zuko's dead mother was pretty much proven. Also, maybe Zuko will be able to bend Lightning after this whole spiritual upset.

I'm reading this, and here's my chip in.
1. If Toph's letter was a fake, isn't Katara and Sokka's, and Aangs also fake??
2. You guys all think Kataang, but what about the sneak preview? Did ya see that? Katara+Zuko+alone in a cave….. O.o Put it together, guys! Gosh!
3. Um, sorry guys, but Suki is probably dead.....
4. And yeah. That's about it. It was, all in all, good, but my favorite part was when the SNEAK PREVIEW OF THE SEASON FINALE came on, and it was totally Zutara.

I'm completely with Kalken. The thing that they're separated will make the show harder to follow. I hated when Long Feng was lying to the Earth King, telling him that the Avatar was the enemy of the state. But I knew the King was intelligent and would trust the most powerful bender in the world. BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY STOLE MY IDEA OF EARTH SLIDING !!!!! Ahem... The battle in the beginning was incredible. They defeated the whole army. It's unbelievable... but it's the Avatar... (my idea of Earth sliding... :'() The Dai-Li are traitors. If only they could join the army for the invasion, their skills would be useful.

I don't think Azula, Ty Lee and Mai are here to kill the Earth King nor to take Ba Sing Se down. I think they're there simply to capture the Avatar. They certainly know from the Kyoshi warriors that he is in the city. Staying close to the Earth King will certainly lead them to him since the Avatar is supposed to have a great authority, or at least the Earth King's trust. But now that they are in Ba Sing Se, the battle between Azula, Ty Lee, Mai and Zuko and Iroh will be inevitable. I think Zuko and Iroh will be forced to flee and the "Kyoshi warriors" will be expelled from the city or simply defeated before Zuko and Iroh leave.

And we'll see the Avatar State again... finally... It's been a long time. And since it's Book 2: Earth, WE WILL SEE AT LEAST ONE OF THE EARTH SPIRITS !!!!!!!! (At my advice...) I'm sure there will be some spiritual actions in the next episode. I think the Guru will show Aang the power of the Avatar State and he'll find out that Toph has been captured. Then he'll come back to take Sokka and Katara and they'll (easily) defeat Yu and Xin-Fu. But I'm not sure if they will be able to defeat the Fire Nation since they're heavily armoured. But the fact that Azula has a weakness is a good news.

"The Black Earth Spirit has spoken !!" (Really, stop this. It's really weird...)

I have to agree with Joychi on the whole Ozai's angels thing. They wouldn't just flat out attack the Earth King in broad daylight. First they would infiltrate and get to see how it functions, then kill him and leave and report their findings. But this is most likely just a front for they are most likely trying to find Aang.

Toph stole my line, "Thats just sad" thats my real life line. I feel robbed.

As far a forshadowing goes, I think they got rid of Toph this way, she ain't ever coming back.
