A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

I KNOW RIGHT!? As long as the rumoured MP doesn't go by way of pre-extended cut ME3, at least. *grumbles*

Oh man, I really hope that they've wised up and won't go that route.

I am pretty excited for DA3 too. I'm in the very small minority that liked DA2 more than DA. (game play is a large deciding factor to me, and while the customization was smaller the faster, less clunky combat made up for it.) I won't be pre-ordering it like I thought I would be (mostly because of the ME3 debacle) but I will be getting it.

While I have to say that I still like Origins a bit more, I really did love DA2 and I think it gets too much slack.

They better not, but tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they did. -_- And I love DA2 and Origins equally, but in different ways and for different reasons (if that makes sense). I hear they are combining all the awesome of DAO and DA2 together for DA3. Let's hope it lives up to that.

Got fitted for a bra today. Um, I have been buying my bras to small apparently.

I'm way late to the party and only recently started playing through DA. It's been wonderful so far.

I enjoyed both ME1 and ME2 quite a lot, and ME3 excluding the well... Thing that must not be named. However I love them for very different reasons each, so hopefully something similar will occur for DA2/DA3.

That was hilarious Xombi!

So nervous for my first character app. Experienced RPer? Yes. Completely different genre, style, and feel? Most definitely! Oh well, the admins are lovely, so I feel reassured!

Scholarship today! Yay slightly less drowning in college costs!

@seojin - where are you in DA? What origin did you start with? I love the ME series as well, and to be honest I wasn't too mad about the ending (though I definitely understand why people are, don't blame them one bit); it wasn't great, but I'm just waiting to see where they go with it, because I think they're lying that ME3 is the last game.

In other news, had a good night with Ryari and Sohee - got our hairs did, gussied up, went out for dinner, bra shopping for me, gelato, then bookstore. Yay. <3

- I have a couple of files running, but my main is definitely my female City Elf rogue (archer). I recently finished the Landsmeet, so I'm heading back to that castle that I just forgot the name of! Once I finish this and Awakening, I do plan on buying the second. DA is the game that has felt "truest" BioWare since the KotOR series.

Let's see... Random thought... I also discovered "Once Upon A Time" on Netflix. (No cable/dish/"tv" here). Such a whimsically fun show thus far! Anyone else seen it?

@seojin - the f!Tabris origin is by far my favourite, with Cousland (human noble) and Aeducan (dwarf noble) tying at second place. DA2 is super fun as well; for me, it has the most replay value since it is a bit of a shorter, more closed game than DAO. I am on my 9th Hawke, I do believe. :3

AND I love OUaT! It's also on Hulu, and I'd def. recommend it there over Nextflix. >_> Idk for sure if you need hulu+ though. I'm not done with season one yet, but hopefully soon.

Gonna hang out with Ryari and relax with my new manga. <3

watch this

That video is very well done, and personally really gives me so much faith in what Bioware might be planning. Also he'll tell you to watch his first two documentaries, and you should as they're really worth it. Personally I think all the MP dlc and missions are going to have a "Story" based impact on the future DLC for SP. I hope I'm right.

@jin, i can't load it atm since ryari is sleeping, but if that's the indoctrination theory? if so i already subscribe to it.

if you're into shoujo manga with good food and comedy that likes to tear out your heart and stomp on it, read "Kitchen Princess". I bought the first two manga tonight at B&N then just had to read the rest online. It was unpredictable which is impressive for a shoujo. Loved it, cried so much.

@sashu - Cold because of work or because of the weather outside? Its actually a warm September in the mysterious place I live!

I did very little today. School starts back up shortly, so its definitely that 'calm before the storm' feeling. I found myself sitting on the deck/porch/veranda and watching for my textbooks to arrive. Shameless geek.

Seojin: The weather! I'm not joking, I got out of work at ~10 and it was like 55 degrees outside with a pretty constant wind. It got down to like 40 degrees last night. Where I live (lol) it's getting that autumn chill.

Decided to pick up an 8 hour "blitz" shift - meaning it's all day work instead of just evening - as well on Saturday. Afaik it'll be pretty laid back, everyone's just gonna relax and have fun, and they'll have stuff like raffle tickets, giveaways, free pizza/drinks, etc. And we're wearing pajamas and bringing in pillows/blankets/etc. =]

- It is, and it's also been confirmed that a new ME game and Omega DLC is happening. A part of me is extremely happy but I"m also a little worried about a new ME game.

————————————————————————————————-

Got off work and I kicked some serious butt. I was loading 400 boxes an hour at FedEx, and it felt great. Also I'm under 230. Lost 40lbs so far in just a mere 3 months.

You'll get out of school eventually Airi. I know everyone is always saying 'next stage of life' is better. I didn't find that true for high-school, but I definitely did for college! Just hold out!

~~

Massive fires in my state, so some relatives and their friends are evacuating to my house. Just got the call and request this morning. They're having to "leave" one of my Uncles, as he's a ranger and is out fighting the fires. I live on mountain slopes on the opposite side and an hour or two from the fires. So I'm/we're perfectly safe but... Oh my!

@jin: I fully support the indoctrination theory... even though I don't think it's true (if that makes sense). If EA/Bioware had any sense they'd make it a reality, but using "EA" and "sense" in the same sentence almost always makes for an oxymoron. I heard about the Omega DLC & the new ME game, and I don't think I'll be getting either anytime soon.

Ugh. This member of another board is sooo good at getting offended. Especially when she asks for opinions and then gets passive-aggressive about them XP. Like, she's getting mad and telling everyone to calm down while she's getting more angry.

...sounds like me sometimes. ugh.

in other news, I have a story to write for tomorrow and I'm freaking stuck and it sucks.

EDIT: OMFG on that same site two people logged on about the same time and were like 'MEMBER ONE' and 'MEMBER TWO' and 'PEOPLE ONLINE' and 'AHHH' and the cbox blew up for a sec and it was really awesome ! =D

Lucky! Good luck, I hope you can convince her! I hate flying, but if I could travel abroad that would be worth it. <3
