Here it is, people. Make sure you have signed up first in the Sign-up thread, and then come here and wait for your prompt to be posted. Remember these rules:

1. No posts under 500 characters allowed. (It's difficult to do a really good post, but have it be short.)
2. No controlling other characters. (That's against the rules in any RPG board. We want to see how well you can RP if there are other people present who you cannot control.)
3. If you pass, but go into the regular RP boards, and slip, you will be forced to go to the RPG School, no exceptions. If you fail, you have to go through the Battle Training (and pass it with Good or Excellent).
4. No OOC posts allowed, no exceptions. (We don't want to see anything else besides your RP post and a header entitled "[Insert Your Name Here]'s RP Sample".)
5. Don't re-post your prompt. (If you can roleplay well, we will know what it is.)
6. Age does not matter. Good RPGers 17 years of age or younger: Fu-Ling (14), Kusari (16), Shio (17).
7. Don't sell yourself short when writing your prompt! We're looking for good posts of decent length. If your post woudn't get you a GOOD in the Battle or Romance Training, you won't pass here. If you can't give us that, you're better off somewhere else.

Good Luck (and may the Force be with you)!

Tao Kong's RP Sample:

Cars and busses passing by on the wet street, their headlights casting long reflections over the slick pavement. Birds chirping as they hopped along the ground looking for food or doing a mating call, others eating seeds and such in front of a bench on the ground as an old lady fed them. Squirrels hurrying from spot to spot, digging up acorns that they had buried into the ground that fall the previous year. Children coming out to play, laughing and shouting playfully. None of them knowing what had happened a week before then, none of them knowing the grief that had swept through the young man standing on the sidewalk just the day before, when he heard the news that his mother and father had been shot randomly as they walked into a restaurant on that same avenue. He didn't know why he kept walking up to the sidewalk across the street from it, where he stood now, what with all the grief the mere thought of it gave him. He was, in his mind, scolding himself as he sat down on a bench, crying with his hands in his face. He felt he should have been there, should have been there to save them instead of having the time of his life about a mile away at a party. He didn't notice that someone had sat down next to him, until he felt them put their arm around his shoulder...

Zabasaz's Rp Sample

"Ross?!"

Shouting the name harbored no reply, save for the echo. It was as though the cave yelled the name in response, mocking the trapped lad as it slowly digested him within it's rocky interior.

The lad was Jeff. Geoffrey Phaneuf is his full name, everyone calls him Jeff, although there was no real concern for his name, or his nickname, since no other living soul appeared to be present. He and his best friend, Ross McFarland, had resolved to go cave exploring for their Winter vacation off of school, but things apparently went horribly wrong.

Jeff was a careful caver. He brought all of the necessary supplies, and encouraged everyone else to immitate him in this aspect. He brought all the tools necessary for ascension and descension in vertical caves, he brought provisions, lights, he brought a cellphone, and he brought a notepad for writing down notes regarding his findings and experiences.

Now the notepad lay discarded on the cave floor not far from him. He had been trapped for over an hour now, but kept shouting out for Ross. Over a ten minute period he wrote a note, first explaining his situation, as if intended for a future reader, and then explaining meager matters that seemed frighteningly irrelevant to the situation, as though insanity already closed in around him.

Getting to his current location was a mystery in its own. One moment he was walking through a tunnel so narrow that he had to crawl, the next moment the tunnel he came through had seemingly been replaced by a simple rock wall. At first, he was merely stupified by the possibility that the hole he came through could have vanished, or that he could have had a veritable 'brain-fart' and completely forget how he had gotten here. Then, he began to realize something very peculiar. He was wearing a backpack, a thermal layer of clothing, a jacket layer of clothing, and another jacket layer. In Winter, it's cold underground, in caves, so it is wise to bring many sources of warmth.

However, there was still a coldness. There was this sort of chill, but his body wasn't actually experiencing low temperatures. It was that feeling, that feeling of being watched.

Jeff wanted to drop his backpack and pull out a better light source than his electric lantern, but he felt in doing so he'd be dropping his guard and inviting some unseen creature to leap upon him and rend him to shreds.

To describe his surroundings, it would take a mere sentence or two. It was pitch black, save for a puddle of light coming from his grounded lantern by his feet, that revealled the rough cave floor. That ground looked trodden upon despite its depth in the crust. Jeff himself was just a simple teenager. Eighteen, nineteen maybe. He had long curly hair, slightly matted due to a lack of brushing. He had big cheeks, a sort of broad, innocent face with a grimace of despair at the situation painted over it.

Hope was fleeting now, but Jeff's attention was now turned to the possibility of some sort of beast or paranormal phenomenon that may take place in the darkness of the large cave room. He gathered the courage to put down his lantern and backpack and rummage through it to find more light sources. He pulled forth another electric lantern, setting it on the opposite side of him and turning it on, then pulled out a powerful flashlight he had gotten for Christmas a week before but never resolved to use. Before turning it on, however, he unpocketed his cellphone and attempted to phone for Ross, then 911. However, he had tried on numerous occasions in the last forty-five minutes, and still lacked any reception. It was as though the outside world died, and left him as the last living soul trapped under the Earth's crust.

Upon activating a second lantern, his puddle of light increased in diameter, and he could see more ground. The room was still dark though. The darkness that was out of the reach of his aura of light was strangely thick, almost tangible. A chill ran down his spine when he looked upon it, predicting it to be endlessly deep. He stared into the dark as if something had just entered the vicinity and he could feel it's glare shifting across his body. Slowly he rose, gripping his unactivated flash light. To the left there was a faint noise, a noise like rock and fabric rubbing together. In his mind he knew something had to be there. How could there possibly be a sound, especially one like that, if I'm the only living thing here? Unless I'm not. He wanted to think it was just an underground river or rocks shifting randomly due to erosion and gravity, but he couldn't embrace such a simple solution. There was another noise, almost to the exact opposite direction, and he looked into the darkness towards its point of origin too. After a long stare, he began looking between the noises. Two noises, different locations. Perhaps he wasn't alone. Perhaps he wasn't alone with one other life form. Could it be Ross, trying to scare him?

"Ross! This isn't funny man, I'm scared shitless. Please, just come out if you're here. Don't put me through this."

No response. No noise.

"Ross! Please man, don't do this again! My heart is pounding man, this can't be healthy."

Still no response.

Jeff felt his palms growing sweaty, even in the cold. He remembered that he gripped a flashlight in his gloved hands. He prepared to turn it on, but wanted to wait for a sound first. He made it a point, though, to keep his glaring moving, to make sure nothing could possibly creep up behind him. The last thing he wanted, whether it was truly Ross or not, was a surprise.

Almost on queue, the sound occured again, dead behind him. He immediately turned around and pressed the rubbery button of the flashlight. With a resounding click, light poured like a stream forward, meeting a distant, perhaps four meter, wall. Nothing was there, but he began to move his flashlight swiftly to the left and right, scanning for life. He knew now that he had a way of finding whatever was out there, it would have to act quick, and so he had to do the same. He had to find it, know what it was that lurked in the depths of the infinite shadows around him.

The noises became more frequent, as if his cavemate was fleeing from the light. Finally, movement became visible in the corner of the white, shining circle that his flashlight projected on the rocky walls. With a twitch he moved the flashlight on it, almost reluctant that he'd finally find out what was making the noises, stalking him, watching him.

The thing that he saw was a thing of unspeakable horror. His death was agonizing and terrible.

Carole sat in a dark alleyway of a small town, the rain falling upon her dark, red hair. She couldn't take it anymore. She had to get Scott back. But he denied her, broke her, destroyed her heart for all eternity. The poor, young woman would never love again. She and Scott had something special. He had once told her that love was simple, but they were for all eternity. Now he chose some other woman that was pretty much a pathetic excuse for a human being. Carole would never get over her heartache.

Carole looked up, her emerald green eyes still red with tears. The rain splattered her lightly freckled nose and cheeks, her pale forehead. Carole was a beautiful young lady. Yet how could a man deny her? She was artistic; she painted sunsets, moonscapes, people, anything she could; she loved music and dancing; she took salsa classes, learned how to jazz dance, and even learned a bit of hip-hop; and she never failed to be there for whomever needed her. She wasn't perfect, no. She had her flaws. She always spilt something on herself everyday, be it paint, food, a drink, or even just dirt, it would be on her. She forgot the simplest things, such as feed her pet Pomerian. Now it was worse, thanks to her broken heart.

Scott, my love, come back to me.

Carole knew that focusing on this one thing could destroy her entire life. But she and Scott were meant to be together. Everyone they knew realized it. How did she destroy it? Did she destroy it was the question. Was it Scott who wanted to end it? Or was it Carole? She could not tell. Her heart was in too many pieces and her mind was scattered all over the place. She could not focus. What was she to do?

"Rai."

Her best friend in the whole world, Rai, short for Rachel, had been through heartache time and time again. She took care of Carole when things were rough for the young woman. They had been inseparable since the eighth grade, and now were the best of friends. Carole stood up, her white shirt drenched through, showing the black cami underneath. Her dark denim jeans were darker than ever thanks to the rain pouring down upon her. Her sandals were nothing that drenched shoes. She tredged on down the street, her eyes losing the life of light in them.

Carole arrived at the door of her friend's home. As it opened, she looked up into her friend's blue eyes, the tears still spilling down her face.

"I need to be held by someone who cares. I need to get my mind off of my lost love. I need to start over," she spoke softly. "I need to get away from this tragedy called Carole."

Karanbir's RP Sample

The palace was quite the only sounds that could be heard that night where the crackling of the flames which burned upon the torches which illuminated the hall way and a faint sound that began to grow louder and louder. That sound was made by the footsteps of a young guard who for some reason had been startled, his face was one of terror, his eyes wide open and his breathing was heavy and deep. He ran down the torch lit hall the faint orange glow from the torches hitting his face then fading away as he ran past them. He reached a turn in the hall way he quickly turned almost loosing his footing.

He quickly slammed his back into the wall and tried to catch his breath. He stood their wide eyed, his pupils where enlarged due to the dark room, making the dark brown brim of his eye's turn into only a thin outline of his pupils. Panting, his mind racing from what he had just heard, he stood their trying to figure out something he should do. What could he do anyways? He was just a lowly guard; all he did was walk the hall ways in his standard armor. He also felt that no one would believe his claim, and that he himself would be punished for putting dirt on a higher ranking officer's name. His head began to throb, and the sensation of pain began to gather in his temples. He began to think of what he had just heard, he tried to retrace his steps to try and find some way which he could dismiss this as a miss interpretation.

He began to remember the events which had taken place just a view minutes ago. He found himself patrolling the halls as usual; nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, until he spotted a couple of shady figures moving through the halls. He was a guard so it was his duty to investigate; He put his hand over the handle of his sword and crept down the hall toward the room which the figures entered. He stood a few feet from the entrance of the door and thought of what he should do in this situation, what if they were enemies? He would be outnumbered and probably killed, he decided to check out who or what they where before taking action. So he slowly began to inch toward the door, and as he did he had heard the men having some sort of conversation. They were talking of some plan, as he continued to listen he heard that the plan involved the assassination of the king. When he had heard this his eye's widened, they must be enemies he thought to himself.

He was not sure, guilt lingered in his mind, he wanted to see their faces he wanted to be able to identify who it was that wanted to end the life of his lord and master. He peeked into the room and caught a glimpse of the man who seemed to be in charge of this plan, but when he noticed his face his heart had almost stopped. The leader of the Assassination was none other than the King's son. He quickly pulled his head back and then as quietly as some one who’s nerves had been rattled could, made his way away from the door. He then focused back on what was actually happening, his breath still heavy and his eye's still wide open. He knew that the other men where high ranking officer's do to the armor which they where wearing. No one would believe that they would betray the king; no one would believe this nameless soldier.

He knew he could not just stay their and do nothing, he had to warn his king, his mind set and his face no longer full of fear and shock he stepped away from the wall and began to make his way to the kings throne room. He was now only a few meters away from the massive door which had two imperial guards stationed at each side. His body wanted him to turn back, it did not want to risk death, but his mind was determined, he would have to go through with this. He placed his hand on the massive handle of the door and his muscles began to tighten as he began to pull on the door, but before he even had a chance to pull it open, he felt a strange sensation run through his right side, then the same sensation on his left, after only a few seconds immense pain began to emit from the spots which the sensation had originated from.

He looked to see what it could be, and saw two large pike's speared into each rib side. His eyes began to fill with terror as he looked up at the two guards who had skewered him like a beast. Their faces filled with grim determination, he was certain that they were in on the assassination. The life from his brow eyes began to fade and a white glaze began to fill his once black pupils. His legs grew weak as he became blind and he fell to his knees, the where met with a warm red liquid which had quickly soaked through the green fabric. His body began to grow cold in a matter of seconds and the world around him was now engulfed in darkness. The two guards looked on with no remorse, not feeling even the slightest guilt for their actions.

" Clean this up off the floor, the prince said that if anyone who was not a member of the plan tried to enter the throne room he or she would be killed, now dispose of the body... no one will notice the disappearance of such a lowly guard."

The guard on the left nodded to the instructions of the guard on the right and dragged pulled out his spear as did his counter part. He then dragged the lifeless corpse of the young guard who's name would never be remembered or known to the furnace. He lifted him and tossed him into the large flames.

[glow=red,2,300]Karena Edit: I specifically said no OOC's and don't repost your prompt![/glow]

Their eyes met for the first time in what felt like ages. Shikimori looked over a shelf as she was turning around and she immediately jumped up. Shikimori suppressed a smile that was quickly spreading across his face, in fear that someone would see him. He quickly searched the room, in case anyone from her family was there, and she did the same. Shikimori knew he was alone, shopping for herbs to make tea for his grandmother. Seeing that there was no one around from either family, Yachiru and Shikimori made their ways toward each other anxiously. Once they were a few steps away from each other, Yachiru sprinted forward and lunged into his arms. Shikimori held her close and stroked her hair and neck.

"I missed you so much. I didn't know when we would be able to see each other again." Shikimori held her closer then, looked up at him with her beautiful brown eyes, she said, "I knew we would find each other eventually. Love such as this is constantly drawing us to each other. Somehow, I knew you were here before I ever saw you." Shikimori's eyes widened. He knew he felt the same way. Sometimes he felt like he heard her voice faintly calling to him but when he looked there was no one there.

"I really with I could be there for you more often. I would do anything for you Yachiru... but-" Yachiru put a finger to his lips and interrupted him in the middle of his sentence in a sympathetic sort of way, "-but we know how our families are. Yours will not allow you do marry someone of a lower status than them and mine don't want me conversing with the "snooty" end of the economic scale. But that shouldn't matter to them! We've been in love since we first met, but that means absolutely nothing in their terms. It's all about the money." Shikimori knew she was right. His family was exactly that way and hers was just as stubborn. The two only wished that the families' disagreements didn't have to include them.

"Tomorrow we won't be together and who knows how long it will be before we see each other again." Shikimori whispered grimly. The thought of not not being able to hold her in his arms weighing heavily on his heart. "But we're together now," Yachiru stated clearly. "and we can make the best of the short time we have here, trying to devise a way to meet in the future." As each word slipped between her lips Shikimori loved her all the more. If we are to be together... We will have to fight for it. She knows this. I was slow to realize this fact. Shikimori pulled away slowly but clasped his hands around hers, tears forming in his eyes. "I promise," Shikimori declared sharply whilst wiping the tears off of her face with his thumb "I will find a way for this to work. Even if we have to leave the country all together to escape the hatred between our families." Yachiru's eyes lit up upon hearing this. Shikimori's tone showed a whole new side of him; a more determined side. Shikimori, stilling holding onto Yachiru's hand, left the store and walked cautiously down the street, hoping they would not be seen in the time it took him to get her to the Field of Flowers.

When they arrived at the field they sat down by the lake side by side, holding hands and Shikimori plucked a single daffodil from the ground and handed it to Yachiru, knowing it was her favorite flower. "I've been thinking about it. A lot in fact, especially since the last time we saw each other." Shikimori spoke timorously but realized there was no point in acting that way around her. Her, the one who was with him when no one else was. Her, the one who had brought him out of the darkness. Her, the one who he had devoted his body and mind to for all eternity. There was nothing he could fear when they were together. "I had hoped that we could move away together, leaving behind this horrible situation and never looking back on it. We could elope and live together as husband and wife, and start a new life without anyone else to interfere." Shikimori had started to get excited as he completed his speech, "I could get a job and support us, even if we were to have a child..."

Shikimori thought that Yachiru would be just as excited as him when he said this but her eyes said otherwise. He scooted closer to her and she leaned and rested her head on his shoulder. "Shikimori, you know I would. There is no doubt in my mind that you would be able to support and protect our family. But what would I tell them?" Yachiru's eyes changed completely when she heard what Shikimori had to say "Of course we will write them a letter, but trying to tell them would be too risky. We can't allow ourselves to be caught. I don't know what I would do without you Yachiru. I love you more than anything in the world. I would never purposely do anything that would hurt you." Yachiru looked up at him with those same eyes she had before in pure adoration and he stared deeply into hers, reflecting the same amount of admiration and love.

Their time together had been short but they agreed that in two days, in the dead of night he would sneak out of his house with the best riding animal that his family owned, taking with him a pouch of money that would be able to last them a month, plenty of time for him to find work in the other city. As soon as Shikimori returned home he remembered the herbs he was supposed to have bought. If I don't bring it back they will suspect something... Shikimori reached into his vast garden and grabbed some mint leaves and then put them in a sack that he had brought for the herbs. I will crush these up and then give them to mother to give grandmother and then I will be able to run back out and buy the real herbs and switch them before he makes dinner tonight. Shikimori did just that and then dumped the crushed mint out the window as his mother came in looking for the herbs. He had made it just in time, and then ran up to his room to pack his things. Tomorrow he would remove all of his money out of the bank and take it with him on the journey. He was anxious to see her... and couldn't wait to put their plan into action.

Two days later Shikimori and Yachiru eloped to the city Ganjou Kabe (Meaning Strong Walls). At first things we hard, finding work was dificult but they didn't give up hope. Shikimori soon found a stable job that helped them purchase a small but cozy home near the middle of town. Their love was strong enough to keep them together even though things were looking bad... and during this time they never lost faith in each other.

Aioria’s head was throbbing as he started to lift himself up, up against a tree. He was in a jungle that he had never seen before and his memories didn’t helped him to figure out what was happening to him. Suddenly spasms went through his stomach and he fell back down on his knee’s emptying his bowls.

As he had done throwing up he lifted himself back up as slowly his memory started to get back. He had been captured by a group of enemy soldiers behind enemy line. He had been send out to try to learn as much as he could about the enemy. But he had made a mistake, he had gotten to close.

For days they had lead him and other prisoners in these woods, Aioria knew they had been running in circles but he knew that they had succeed in their goal. To make sure the prisoners had no idea where they where. Then Aioria remembered the snake, it had been a small snake, but it was venomous, and when Kaji had been bitten in the ankle the guards had probably left him for death.

Now if that was good luck or if he would have better been bitten by a larger snake would only be clear when this situation came to an end, the one of the other. Looking at the light he could see that it was still early in the morning so he started to walk towards the north as they had entered the forest walking southwards.

Aioria wished that his weapons hadn’t been confiscated as he started to slam a sharp rock against a liana. Finally he got through it and the water started to poor down. He smiled as the fresh water was a welcomed treat. When he had enough he continued his walk cursing again at the fact that his equipment was gone so that he couldn’t fill water bags for along the road.

For two weeks Aioria continued his track through the forest, the fear that he was lost was always at the brink of his mind, but knowing he could survive in these parts had given him the strength to continue. Then without a warning he walked out of the forest. Aioria couldn’t believe his luck, somehow he had passed the Enemy lines and had found himself at the right side of the front line. Taking the time to take in the view he see campfire smoke. Cautiously he ran towards it, ready to report to his superiors. Happy to be able help out his nation once again.

Sorry for the double post, but here's the verdict for two people:

Tao Kong - We have decided to deny your application. It's a good start, but it's just that - a start. You should have continued and expanded with more paragraphs on your character's feelings, and it might have been accepted. Please do one round of the Battle Training before trying again, if you choose to try again. If not, then go through all the rounds of the Battle Training or the Romance Training.

Zabasaz - We have decided to accept your application. Your writing is phenomenal, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole post. The post length is very good, as well. You are now hereby exempted from The RPG School. Don't slip up, or you'll be right back in The RPG School, and you will not be elligible for this again.

Crystal clear water sparkled as a single wooden canoe drifted soundless and effortlessly through the water ways of the North Pole. Shizune found herself leaning over the sides to stare into the vast streams. Millions of fish swimming together going on with their own lives. The girl grinned seeing herself perfectly in the waters reflection. A short figureless girl with no sex appeal al all. Plain black hair which sat resting against her shoulders and neck. Matching coal like eyes so deep like the ocean bottomless pits.

She wasn’t anything special just a simple girl from the North Pole.Leaning further over the side of the boat almost touching its glass like water with the rim of her nose. Fish swam to where her single finger traced the rippled of the water biting and nibbling she couldn’t help but laugh "You're so cute aren’t you?"

"Miss," the sixteen year old looked at the bender who stirred their way through the large city "If you lean over any further you'll tip us!" The thought of falling face flat into the artic waters wasn’t very appealing to her much alas anyone.A look of utter
disguest made its way across Shizunes face as she quickly sat up in a blink of the eye causing the boat to rock back and forth. Letting out a squeel of terror holding onto the sides so if it did tip she could easily pull herself out of the freezing death trap and bend the water off her as soon as possible.

Shizune watched as the bender did his best to try and not snap at the insane girl. Did she think this was easy? No, he thought angrilly to himself, avoiding eye-contact with the unatrative female bender and taking a deep breath. "Try to be a little more careful next time... PLEASE." With that, he grumpily went back to their journey to their destination, hoping with all his might that this occasion won't end in a... disturbing way. The teenager sighed scratching her cheak and offering the man the sweetest smile she could manage and turned back to the bow of the boat her black eyes scanning the magical city.

Though she'd been in the city many times before Shizune couldnt help but find it breath taking every single time she incountered its beauty. Unless you've actually been to the
North Pole there is only so many ways you can describe its shere beauty. It was absalutely gorgeous, once they gotten inside that is. Everything there was made of ice, replacing the average mud-based places or wood. Not to mention since the water was clear, it was easy to see the glowing beneath the ice structures that dwelled within the water. And the deeper they went, the more the city blossomed with it's fascinating details and patterns. It was amazing what water benders could create when teaming up together to build an entire city!

As the boat docked itself infront of the palace Shizune was all giggles. What could the cheif want with her? Had Chief Arnook heard about her through some of his guards and was hopeing that Shizune would come to examine him? To make sure everything was in tip top shape? Then he would say 'Shizune, I'm growing old and you're the only one that I actually trust to take care of me. So I want you to live in my palace," The thought of wearing all those fancy clothings having the abbilty to order anyone around her to do everything little single thing. Shizune sighed as she was lost in her childish day dreams she didnt even notice that a man was waiting to guide her towards the garden where the Cheif would be waiting.

Shizune found herself stepping infront of a half height wooden with the symbol of the water tribe carved into it. Warmth was the first thing that hit her when she entered one of the most beautiful sights she ever witnessed; well, considering everything she was raised around was ice-based, it was no surprise to how fascinated she was. It was a rather small island, and there, sitting a few feet away from a pond was the chief, his eyes locked onto the two fish that swam around joyuously and mystically in the shallow waters. The first step she took onto the holy land created butterflies in her stomach,
taking a deep breath, enjoying the sensation as she closed the distance between herself and the chief. The waterfall, the plants, everything there was breath-taking.

As Shizune approached, she removed her black-shaded coat; the thickness it featured maintained her body heat and prevented her from freezing to death in this winter wonderland—underneath was her basic village wear, a kimono that was barely appropriate for a girl, though she could really care less since it was rather easy to move around in. Keeping the kimono occupied was a red band, tied to a point it wouldn’t have those pathetic bows that she absolutely despised to wear. Bows were just… icky. The last two pieces of clothing would be her black boots with bits of fluff around the hems as
decoration, and her fishnet under-shirt. This specific costume displayed her personality quite well, and is by far very comfortable, despite how it appears, and great for every
seasonal changes if she if she happens to travel to other countries. Not too cold, and not too warm.

"Cheif," She bowed showing her respect for the most powerful man in the entire North Pole. She watched as he motioned her further and she slowly approuched the tiny island. Kneeling don beside Cheif Arnook staring down into the water where the two spirits La, the Ocean Spirit and Tui, the Moon Spirit swam together in a circle like Yin and Yang. She'd never seen the spirits before and almost felt like crying knowing that the Cheifs
daughter Yue was now one with the Moon spirit.

Cheif Arnook handed a letter over to the girl who took it without a single word.Breaking the seal scanning the letter over explained that she shizune was to be a peace treaty between the Fire Nation and the Water Tribe. Meaning that Shizune would actually be marrying somebody from the Fire Nation. Shizune gasped dropping the letter to the side of her looking up at the full moon above them. This was impossible her? A peace treaty? being treaty like some kind of prize for anybody to marry?

What about Kyo? The thought of the man made her heart ache in so many ways that she didnt even think possible. Clutching at her chest gripping at the engament necklace that had been carved for her only a year ago. She wasnt ready. No not yet every night Shizune still cried herself to sleep, every morning she woke up soaked in her own tears from the night before. How could the Cheif go and ask her to marry some stranger?!?!?

Holding back the tears of sorrow battling her to escape, she clutched her kimono around her thighs, her body tensing as her bangs shadowed her eyes to hide the deep sadness she
had. "... I... I see..." She choked out the words. Surprisingly enough, he had placed his masculine hand against her shoulder, a look of sympathy in his expression. His
daughter's habits must have rubbed off on to him, the princess was a gentle soul. "You're doing it for you're people, Shizune. If there was another way, I wouldn't have you do this. But it's the only way to prevent anymore suffering amongst our people... I'm sorry."

Shizune sighed sniffing back the tears as she lent into the Cheifs side unable to hold back the tears anymore they began to spill out like the ragging waterfall behind the two. The two koi fish counited to circle around their pound watching the scene unfold infront of them. "Why...." Staring up at the moon the tears contuining to pour down her cheaks. She had to be strong. Shizune had to be strong. What would Princess Yue would
have done?

From the rumors around the North Pole it was Said that the girl wasnt even in love with her Finacee. But she stuck with it. And no she didnt stand here infront of the spirits crying. As if crying was going to make everything ok. No Yue had stood strong and did what was best for her people. In the end Yue had so much love for everyone and everything that she gave her life to become the Moon spirit. Why couldnt Shizune be stronger like Yue? She knew what she had to do but to actually go through with it and marry one of the enimes who had killed so many of her fellow friends and loved ones.

The fire Nation was ruthless murders who killed anyone who got in their way. They were monsters wanting to take over the once peaceful world. Speading hatred and violance everywhere causing pain for everyone they came in contact with. Biting down on her lip so hard that a small amount of blood trinkled down her face mixing with the tears.

"I'll do it...."

Kazuma walked down a road that he had walked so many times in his past that he could do so with his eyes closed. Today, however, he did not. His smile spread from ear to ear as he walked down the path, taking in it's well known details. He was happy as a sixteen year old could be. He was returning home. The place he had grown up.

He had spent the past few years in the city where he was learning to become a blacksmith. He had been mild at best as an apprentice blacksmith, but his teacher was a skilled swordsman. And that is what truly kept Kazuma in the city, he was learning how to use a sword. Learning all he could from the old Blacksmith and his apprenticeship at an end, his master gave him the two swords at his side. He patted them as he thought of his Master. He came to the end of the path, looking out upon the fishing village he called home.

Something was different though, he noticed that the people were not out and about as they usually were. What was going on? Kazuma walked into the town and went to an Inn for some information. "Yikes!" He yelled and around the corner. The Inn had soldiers pouring in and out of it. What the heck were Fire Nation warriors doing here? Kazuma walked back down the street to the Town Center and stopped as he looked at the devastation. Dropping to his knees he looked at the town, really for the first time. Burn marks, on the houses and a pile of bodies were nearby.

This couldn't be happening could it? Kazuma didn't know why they had attacked his village but it infuriated him. He got up and walked through the town to the home he had shared with his family. Maybe they could shed some light on the situation. Once again he was hit with a shock. His house ceased to be where he remembered it and nearby he saw his father lying on the ground...dead.

What could have warranted this slaughter? Kazuma's rage was immeasurable as he walked back to the Inn which he assumed was a barracks of some sort. He had gotten a look before and knew there were a lot of soldiers in the building. He stopped in front of the Inn and looked up at the building. Kazuma knew this was going to be hard, to drive these invaders out of his town, probably his greatest challenge. He smirked though and drew his swords. "Time to kill." He murmured as he began a charge into the building.

Kazuma - Thank you. We'll discuss it and get back to you.

Karanbir - We have decided to accept your application. However, I want to give you a few pointers. I understand that you wanted to convey those last words spoken by that guard, but still, it would have been better had you had your ghost rise up and hear it, or have yourself barely alive and still hear it before you died. Or you could have even had yourself not hear it, but still be alive, and just say something along the lines of, "He never heard..." or something like that. Just for future refrence so you do not do that again. Oh, and I do want to let you know that your idea for the post was completely unexpected to me. I expected you to do something more modern. Props for that. :)

Kita - Your application has been accepted. I like your writing style. It's very nice. I felt you could have focused on your feelings a bit more, but you did a good job.

Ren - Your best friend has just disppeared. What do you do? How do you feel? Describe your feelings and what you want to do.

Ai Lin - The world is in danger, and you have just been told that you are the only person who can stop it. What do you do? Do you want this responsibility? How do you feel?

Katara - Your best friend has just killed someone to protect you. How do you feel about this? What do you plan to do?

Yue Chao - You have just found an object of great power. What do you do with it? How do you feel upon finding, and now that you have it?

Chailong Kemen - You have been giving a great power. Do you want this power? How do you feel about it now that you have it?

Akadi Fuyong - Your only sibling is dying. They need a kindey transplant, and you are the only match. The procedure will be painful. How do you feel? Do you want to go through with it?
