Sokka! I find him REALLY sarcastic and he was a bit mean to Aang when Katara and him first met the new Avatar. And when Katara's mum died, Katara did all the chores and everything and Sokka just sat back and relaxed. I mean, Hello! He's the older one and should take responsible for it......well, I have to admit it that it's in Girls' nature to do everything........

I can't stand Zhao. Plus, Zhao's so stupid. He just gets mad, and starts setting things on fire... I mean, come on, really. Besides, he was beaten by a 16-year-old, and he was a Fire Natin Commander. I mean, Zuko's really good, and really cool, but... Come on...

My least favorite is dead now, which makes me happy! but, now, I don't really have one... *sighs* Guess I'll have to wait and see next season to see who my next one is...

Admiral Zhaq - he might seem like a cool character but I hate his selfish motives and decisions....because of ithem.....hes my least favourite...

OK yeah Zhoa stinks. I just cant stop thinkin about when Aang dodged his attacks and Zhoa destroyed his ships! that was stupid if he didnt notice. I just hate how selfish he is.

For me, a 'least favorite character' would have to be one who acts as he/she does without any reason. In this regard, Avatar is very free of such characters. Even Zhao served a function as the physical incarnation of the Fire Nation's flaws. (at least until we find out more about Azula and her father. Hee.)

Zhao has a bad wrap, they needed an unsympathetic villain and he provided. Without Zhao, Zuko woudl have to be the basard, and we don't want that, do we?

Yeah, I agree. This show doesn't really have any characters that you can really hate. There's no specific villian on this show. There's Zuko but he's not as bad as people think he is. Besides, he doesn't want the avatar for ultamite power or whatever, he wants the avatar to restore his own honor and so he can return home. I agree with the poster above me that every character has a motive.

To the person who hates Sokka, to be fair, he is the only young man in his villiage and is the only one with the fighting skills to protect the villiage. He barely has time to do chores when he has to train be a mighty warrior plus, he had to train all of those little boys to have fighting skills too. I don't expect any of that to change your mind about him, it's your opinion after all. I did find him a bit of an ass in the first episode but he does have a lot of stuff on his mind.

Zhou, too retarded....and those sideburns...blegh. But who knows he may not be dead, he may be alive somewhere... hopefully not but if he is, I hope he shaves the sideburns.

I really despise Zhao, but the Fire Lord is even worse. He's the reason Zuko was banished, burnt and on the hunt for the Avatar. He clearly doesn't care about anyone or anything. I can't wait until Aang and the others face him. I'm sure they'll kick his butt if they have to!

I know, there aren't really any characters too hate but when the Fire Lord becomes more involved with the show, then I'll probably hate him especially for the terrible things he's done to Zuko.

Oh, yes, we cannot forget the Fire Lord. Yes, we will all probably end up hating him, for what he's done to Zuko, and what he wants to do the world. He's a very cruel man, I would assume.

hey, not all bad guys are hated, true I think Zhao stinks and I'm glad hes dead, but even if Ozai did those evil things to Zuko you have to respect a good villian. Personaly I think it would be funny to see all the evil things he will do with the rest of the nations if he were to attack them personaly ;Dhehehe
