Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

Well every living thing has an ideal temperature; now if firebenders found out that they healed faster at a certain temperature and if they could regulate the temperature in a certain place then maybe they could get their skin cells to divide faster or at least speed up the healing process.

What about earthbenders making un fertile land fertile by moving around the earth

Yeah, thats pretty technical stuff Shio, i'm not sure i understood a word, haha. As for earthbenders, i'm sure they'd make farming much easier, good source of income for them.

ya, that's cool shio. Hmm if only the fire nation figured that out. I'm sure some firebending master could do it. Mabey like Iroh or someone. And yes earthbenders should all be farmers, they'd be set for life.

What about airbenders could contol gas. Like deadly gas. It'd sure be an easier way to take out enemies.

yeah that could be cool but the airbenders aren't killers, I think they would do that as a defensive move (but it's too late they're all dead). But could Earthbenders control Sozin's comet to throw it back in the space ?

Possibly... After all, if the Firebenders could use their fire to control it, I'm pretty sure the Earthbenders could get it back to space, but they would have to get enough of them in the same place to do something like that....

It would probably be hard for them to all get in one place. I've noticed that the earthbending army isn't all that...Organized. They might be able to pull it off though. But the firebenders could try to keep it in the same place, a game of tug of war?

That'd be pretty funny. A tug of war between earthbenders and firebenders for Sozin's comet. I think the fire nation would win. Like Kaji said. The earth nation's not very organized, but the fire nartion is. just look at their army.

Well I doubt they could besides comets are mixture of ices (both water and frozen gases) and dust that for some reason didn't get incorporated into planets when the solar system was formed, so I doubt an earthbending team would be able to launch it back into space

Well if comets are made of frozen Water, like ice. (actually that IS Ice baut, what ev.) then couldn't Waterbenders throw it back into space or somthing else.

No, its a mixture. I suppose if you got waterbenders and earthbenders together, they could rend it apart into its component parts, and then send each part into space. But at that point, it wouldn't need to go back into space, would it?

Here is a thought. Since the Earth benders can magnize their limbs, can't they create electricity (after putting some work into it.)

By the time the comet gets backaround, Aang will probably be much better with all of his bending abilities, Why can't he just send an Avatar state super air ball into the comet, thus breaking it apart?

And, a new/old idea. Earthbenders can bend coal. Coal is just dead organic matter, mainly plants. So if they can bend dead organic matter, why can't they bend live orgainic matter, as in trees and other plants?

I think all of this thought into making the comet go away is pointless. First off the Air ball won't work because in space there is no air to move. Only Vacuum. If it were possible then Roko would have told aang that it could be done.

I agree with Sokai. Could Earth benders control plants ? And for Sozin's comet it will come back so let it come and then talk about what will happen if Aang fail. But there is another question : we've already seen a Firebending prodigy but what is an Earthbending, Waterbending and Airbending prodigy ? What could someone like these do ?

Well, yes, that's true. But! What if earth and waterbenders could draw it into the atmosphere? Then it would be possible. Well, in The Avatar State (I think) it showed what each of the previous Avatars could do with their element. Kyoshi moved and threw two huge statues, Roku made a volcano erupt, a waterbender made a tsunami, and an airbender spun twice and made a huge gale. They did this with little to no effort too.

Basically, If a prodigy only had to master one element, they could be as good as an avatar.

The sound wave thery won't work. First of the abilty to bend air is like water. It moves as if it were a liquid. So unless it were to hit something then it should not make any sounds.

Sound travels through air. It is the literal vibration of the air. It is very possible, in my opinion. Attacking with sound waves seems perfectly possible.

Anyway, I just thought of a really cool Bending possibility. I don't know if it has already been brought up, but...Metal Bending. As in...Magneto....It would be awesome to see just one guy walk into a Fire Nation camp and pwn everyone there by just using their own weapons against them. They could crush the tanks too.

I'm not going to say that not possile, but I think it is highly unlikely. If it were to come from anything, it would be earthbending (from the ore). And for that you would have to be a SUPER earth bender.
