Now that Zuko and Iroh are out of the Fire Nation for good, they might have no reason to try to capture Aang anymore because they will never come back. Soon, Iroh will teach him and Aang will learn all the Firebending stuff like lightning, after he masters earth and finishes up water that is. Aang can control fire very little, so that will make it easier for Iroh, then they all will overthrow the Fire Lord and Azula.

I definitely like Zanisha's idea, that does look like Azula in the opening and it would make some sense, considering they have Pakku representing water. I don't know if Iroh is a likely candidate though. Even though he is now a traitor to the Fire nation, throughout the series he has always been known for his loyalty. His loyalty and love for Zuko is really the only reason that he betrayed the Fire nation. I think that he must still have some love and loyalty for his brother, Ozai(spelling?) and I don't think he's about to help in the downfall and death of his brother. Judging from Aang and Azula's fight in Return to Omashu, however, it will probably take some time before they start working together.
On a different topic, does anyone have any idea who the earthbender in the opening(and Aang's prospective earthbending teacher) is? Anyone think it could be possible that it's Tairo, Haru's father from Ep. 6 (Imprisioned)? Probably not, but he's the only earthbender(with a name and a role in the episode) who I can think of that looks similar to the guy in the opening.

Yes, Taro's right. You two know better. I've deleted your posts, and changed your posts counts. Remember, no spamming, or going off topic. It is agains the rules, and if you keep doing, action will eventually have to be taken.

I gotta go with Zuko. We've seen he has a good side. Also, that silloet thing didn't work out. The little blind girl is Ang's Earth Mistress. So much for the master's theory. Also, Jeong Jeong was arested at the end.

I think Aang will meet Zuko and they will be friends. Avatar Roku will tell to Iroh to teach Aang and when he'll find him, Zuko will learn too to become more powerful than Azula

It's not so much that Aang with BEFRIEND Zuko so much as Zuko will realize the perks of helping out the Avatar-- Aang has to restore balance, NOT destroy the entire Fire Nation, so that means when he kills the current Fire Lord then someone will have to take his place. That someone will not be Azula (at least I pray to whatever deities care that it won't...) and Zuko is actually good at heart, when it comes down to it. He'll train Aang and Aang will see to it that he's put into power when the war is over.

All are good points. Personally I believe that Iroh will teach the avatar since both Iroh/Zuko and the avatars goals go inside to destroy azla. But then again Azla might be dispatched at the end of book earth just like the Admiral Zhio was at the end of book water.

I couldn't really decide. I ended up saying befriending Zuko. I'm not sure if it will be that, but more of Zuko reluctantly teaching Aang, and they kinda become Firebending rivals or something of that sort. I'm still not too sure.

That makes for a very lame legend. The great fire nation owes its might to the teaching of the FIRE COW!!! Avatar Reoko rides a dragon, so I think that the firebenders learned from dragons. Or so the legend might go. Which means:
Air=?
Water= moon
Earth= moles
Fire=Dragon...Maybe.

Jeong Jeong wasn't arrested, remember? He did that fiery thing and disappeared. I think it'll be him, at the risk of sounding spammy look under Zuko: Good or bad in the show section to see why. Zuko I don't think will befriend the Avatar until he absolutely has to, and Jeong Jeong is the one Roku said to teach Aang

One could say that Jeong Jeong DID teach Aang how to firebend. Technally Aang did fire bend and Jeong Jeong did teach him how to do it. Give the producers an excuse to find someone else to teach aang.

Ooh, that's a good point. But again, this has been said many times, when has Nick been known for abrupt plot changes? I think they established that Jeong=teacher and so Jeong will =teacher. He taught aang how to firebend, if you can call it firebending, but really all Aang did was take fire and focus on it, something he likely couldve done before meeting jeong jeong
