I thinks that Jen, Jin or however her name is spelt will stick around even though Zuko doesnt understand the first thing about love. Maybe, she'll find out he's fire nation but still like him because she knows the person underneath the prince. Thorugh that, Zuko will complete his transformation into an all out good guy.

I think she is a fool and her unwise attraction to Zuko will end in her death and disaster for others. SHE WILL DIE! And likely by the hand of Azula. ZUKO AND MAI SHALL BE VICTORIOUS!

Doesn't she already know Suko is a fire-bender? For isn't she fire nation herself, the girl that is friends with Azula? I may have the two mixed up, but they look damn like the same person.

Yes Mai knows Zuko is a firebender, and if you remember Zuko alone and Ty Lee taunting her in Return to Omashu, Mai likes Zuko. Isn't that silly? Zuko's almost as popular with females as Sokka.

Although at the suggestion of Azula hurting her to get to Zuko, I think they may actually do that, as that would be a good plot idea, even though it would suck >.<

Zuko knows the fact that he is an outcast. for the rest of his life he knows he cannot stay in one place. he has sorrow for himself and self pity.

If they stay together he will always have the burning secret of being a firebender.

Until zuko realizes that he will never be accepted into his home and that nobody back home will ever love him, he will be too sorry for himself to admit any emotional feelings.

(on topic) I doubt Zuko and Mai will end up together b/c Mai's attraction to Zuko is not an emotional one, its more of a physical attraction (and to all the pervets and twelve-year oldson this board, i mean she just thinks he's cute, so no dumb jokes!). especially since in Zuko Alone, after falling on top of mai, zuko yells, "Girls are crazy!" he shows no sign of embarrasment, and I wouldn't like a girl who was teamed up with my sister to kill me!

I have no idea if they will keep Jen/Jin but I did kinda like her, and I thought she brought out something super... sweet in Zuko. I think they'd be a good match if they stayed together, but in all likelyhood, she'll die.

Stay on topic people! It's not Mai being talked about, it's the new girl, Jen / Jin (to be honest I didn't hear her name mentioned in that episode, though Jin does seem most likely).

I don't see her staying as a full-blown character, or even making another appearance, if only because every part of that episode seemed sorta thrown together at the last minute and rushed through production to meet the deadline. So in all likelihood, I don't see her making another appearance :/

Xia-Di, it was Friday, the new episodes are on at 8 or 11 PM depending where you live. The episode is "Tales of Ba Sing Se" (sp)

She will probably show up in a few more episodes, it depends on how they plan to use her. Honestly, they'll probably at least have her in one more, to give more closure to them if nothing else.

Agreed, it will probably end in tragedy, but they'll probably keep Jin around for just a little bit longer... I'd still really like the two to stay together though! This is how I'd like it to go:
Jin finds out Lee is Prince Zuko, and Pince Zuko is a firebender. She stays and travels with them anyway.
Probably won't happen, but I liked how cute they were together... ^_^

From what you guys are saying, I just had an epiphany, Nick or whoever decides this will kill her off in the season finale just as she and Zuko are becoming really close, just like Sokka and Yue's story. Although, Jin won't beocme a spirit and it will be because someone killed her Cough::Dai Lee::Cough

If anyone kills her, my bet and all my money is on Azula while laughing at Zuko for falling in love.

I don't want to see her die though...It brought out a really funny side to Zuko, I wouldn't mind seeing their relationship sprout.

Yeah, that would be hilarious. I'd love to see Sokka say, "Hey, I thought I was the Ladies man!!!"

But, Azula isn't in the city, the current enemy at the present is the Dai Lee and the cultural minister so my best is on them killing her for hanging out with Firebenders.

Well I'm talking like WAY later in the show, like if Azula ever comes to the city or if Zuko/Jin ever leave or something *Shrugs*

I really do hope they let her and Zuko be together though >.<, I mean the kid's been tormented enough!!! lol

It would be nice for Zuko, because he has not had to many friends in his life. The only thing i would be worried about is if he tells her about being a firebender. If he would, I would love to see the affect that hits her when she gets it. Zuko has had a bad life, and you really see that in Zuko alone. So maybe a girl would be nice.

It was cute when she kissed him, and he went back for another kiss. But i hated how he ran off! Then it was sweet when he told Iroh it was a nice date.

I'm going to offer a completely different perspective, though I am still debating about whether or not I think this will actually be the case, but the entire dating sequence I just could not shake the suspicion I had for Jin. Awfully convenient that her favorite spot was an area of torches that were not lit when they arrived. A lot of her facial expressions after Zuko lit the torches also struck me as suspicious. Frankly, I would not be at all surprised if she is a Dai Lee (sp?) agent investigating whether or not Jet's assertions had any validity, or maybe an unwitting pawn of theirs. Only time will tell. LOL
