Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

I KNEW!!! I KNEW IT! Ozai got a goatee! No villian is complete without it! It is the fundamental rule of being a villian. I mean, you cannot be a successful villian without a goatee. Everyone knows that.

I think Aang looks pretty cool with that hair. And it does make him look like a hobo. LONG LIVE THE HOBO AVATAR!!!!

Zuko looks better. No doubts there. But I personally think that Zuko and Katara are never meant to be. I mean, we all know Katara didn't go head over heals for Jets betrayl. Now this is Zuko's betrayl, greater in magnitude and importance. Now, I think Katara would slice him in two if she even saw his due anywhere, no matter how cool it looks. (Shoot me all you want, bite my head off if you want, BUT I STAND FIRM ON MY OPPINION!!! BACK ZUTARAS! BACK I SAY! *takes a tiny twig and hefts it as a poor excuse for a weapon*) Now Mai and Zuko look like a likely couple, more likely than Zuko and Katara.

Katara, Katara, Katara... No doubt that she will find some boy too swoon over only to be dumped in the dust. Thats sort of the trend here. I mean, how many boys have been in her life? I have lost count. Her outfit, it does look cool, but I have not gotten a good glimpse of it, so my oppinion may and probally will change.

I know I must be asking a dumb question but.... WHAT IS WITH THE YOUNG AVATAR ROKU!!?!? Is it like some sort of memory, cause it doesn't look like it! Has he come back incarnate through aang? Doubt it. IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!!! Which makes it still cool. BUT SO CONFUSING!!! @_@

I like all the stuff in the preview of season three! It cool!

You know you want to click the link

If you want to see the deleted scene of the "Bending Battle", click above for a screenshot. If you want to see the whole scene, clickie the link.

If you just click the link, you'll see a pic of Zuzu. *snort* If you click to see the WHOLE deleted scene that Mike and Brian did NAWT make....... Erm..... Well, it might not be appropriate for you young 'uns. Take that in mind... I'll put it this way and say that it's not work safe. (the "deleted scene")

The screenshot is real, though.

Umm...didn't we know that Ozai had a goatee from way back in those flashbacks in "Zuko Alone?" I always thought that little beard thing meant that Ozai was sportin the goatee. Now, the rules about goatees are that they are generally a sign of the evil double. It certainly ups Ozai's "evil quotient" but I'd say Azula gets a fair amount of evil stuff done without one. Practically killing the Avatar and staging the coup of Ba Sing Se? Yeah. I'd be frightened at what would happen if Azula had a goatee then. :P

I'm worried about this "new villain." His name is...get this...Combustion Man. And he can shoot blasts of something out of his eye tattoo. I am NOT joking. The latest commercial showed him doing it and the new Nick magazine called him "Combustion Man." I'm guessing that's just what they call him until we know his actual name because otherwise...that'd just be really lame.

I'm wondering about this Kataang vs. Zutara bit. The Nick magazine pretty much said, "Oh, Katara will end up with one of them at the end but we won't tell you who!" It came off as a cruel way to get Zutarians all worked up about the possibility rather than a genuine statement. I mean, at the beginning of the season, Zuko's 'dating' Mai, but that certainly doesn't mean that they're gonna stay together. But then you have a great deal of build up of the Aang and Katara relationship, and I could see Katara trying to kick Zuko's butt from here to next month before even talking to him on a civil basis. So what are these guys playing at? "It's either Kataang or Zutara, only one shall survive!"

Umm...Young Roku is from an episode where he pretty much reveals how he failed to stop Sozin from starting the war. It's all flashbacks and such. The only time Roku shows up in the present time is as an old man specter. But I like young Roku and Sozin being friends. It reminds me of Obi-Wan really failing to stop Anakin Skywalker from falling to the dark side and then having to smack him down in Star Wars (yes, I'm that nerdy). Oh Roku and Obi-Wan, you are the most spectacular failures. ;D

Still I'm very interested in how Season 3's gonna go and when Aang's gonna get over his emo bit because he is totally stealing Zuko's lines. Seriously.

And Tiny Zuko's lack of pants? I am silmultaneously amused and horrified by it.

Suyami- I am mortified by that, I'm kidding its good that those people have a sense of human, though it may be an immature one. I was hoping for an actual battle that took place and was subsequently taken off. Meh... oh well.

What would Ozai be without a goatee? And from the Roku verses Sozin clip; did anyone think that the place Aang flies off to in the end of the trailer look familiar to the palace, because I did.

As for the combustion man, yes very pathetic, but hey kids need a laugh. And from the comercial I don't think you would want to make fun of him. Did you see his attack he concentrates fire in a beam of light and then shoots is out and it explodes? Fricken-A.

The fights in this season better blow away those in the previous others, or else.

Combustion Man.... *snort*

And Tiny Zuko..... W-o-w. I just love him. SO MANY ICONS TO MAKE FROM THAT!!!!!!! *runs off to go photoshop her screenshots* Ah, Zutara. I loved that Nick Magazine. Especially Aang and Zuko glaring at each other, and Katara in the middle...... ^_^ Katara? Who will you choose??

And shooting the stuff out of his eye? OMFG. That's just stupid. Sorry. Just kind of... lame.

Woot! Just watched the new episode. (It was on at five o clock over here.) It was awesome. I don't know how many people have seen it or not, so I won't say anything important.
I did notice that they're drawing more parallels between the gAang and the fire nation royalty. Not just between Aang and Zuko, too.
I liked the appearance of Yue and Roku. Sokka's acting more grown up...sort of.
I'm pretty excited for the next episode. ;D

Oh yeah, finally we see Ozai's face! He looks pretty much how I imagined.

WARNING!!! SPOILERZ!!!

Why don't we make another thread for this? Like: The Awakening?

Eh, too tired to make it... But I loved it!!!! That Maiko moment was SOO cliche. Mai just like, randomly kisses Zuko. There was no love on Zuko's part....... O_o Yep, it's on again at 8:30, my time.... (cali) Well, I agree that it was pretty good.

Katara was way too whiney, though.... she came off like a little brat. Ugh. Made me gag. Other than that, it was good! ^_^

[glow=white,2,300]Warning Post Contains spoilers[/glow]

Katara did come off as a little too whiney, but it all got explained. Also, when Aang first discovered his situation I thought he was a little too shy about the scream; were I him I would have burst a vessel at that shock.

I knew Azula would do something like that, I knew she would find some way to screw him over, and she looked very seductive in her sleeping garmets. The tension between Zuko and her is so friken great, you could cut it with a knife, "It's like you said, he could have lived." Such a bitch.

Ozai I think he was a little too compassionate with Zuko. And I feel that they revealed his face to soon, but in a way it helped the show. Zuko blocked him out because of his banishment and only when it ended did we see his face.

Poor Aang, so much duty on the shoulders of a mere child.

End of spoilers.

It's on in two minutes!

OK. I know I couldn't be on for the last two weeks (almost). But since I'm the Mod in charge of this Board, I think we're going to have to settle things here:

[glow=brown,2,300]EVERYBODY READ THIS POST (to avoid any confusion or anything). I announce to everyone that this thread is going to be about the Season Three (the WHOLE Book three, everything that has to do with it, even comments). Which means, if you have to talk about a certain thing in/or a certain episode, then create another thread, or post in the ones that already exist.

And also, as long as we don't have any confirmation that everybody has seen the spisodes, everything here is treated as "spoilers". Unfortunately, I have no way to learn about the time when it airs anywhere... So, you'll have to deal with that. (Note: if you haven't seen the episodes yet and don't want to get the surprise ruined, then don't read anything that is written here ;D)

And I guess that's it. *shrugs*[/glow]

Here begins my real post (Warning, sure contains spoilers !)

I watched both episodes (on YouTube, thanks to the daring ones who uploaded them). The most hilarious was of course "The Headband". Sokka is even more comical in Book Three, even though he looks more mature. Toph looks more confident (I mean, she always looked like it, but she seems to have... changed, how shall I say that, if anybody understood ?) She looks more mature, you know. Like Katara who's grown up, and also (In your face, Zutara lovers !!) has realized how much she cared about Aang, even though "care about" might not be the right verb...

Since I won't just repeat what other people said in upper posts, I'll turn towards the Fire Nation. First, I think Azula looks really beautiful when she sleeps *cough*cough*. Secondly, I can't believe Ozai looks like that. I mean, his face is way too... normal. I imagined that his face would look less like Zuko's (guess I shouldn't be surprised, he's Zuko's father). But really, I would have imagined a face that could show what kind of ruler he was. Even the face of a monster... Because his face doesn't reflect much (he imprisoned his older brother, and didn't give a crap about his first born son !!). Maybe that was because he was with Zuko... Anyway, I guess he'll play a more central role in the next episodes (I hope).

So, what else could I talk about ? Oh yeah, the Dai Li. I totally lost respect for them. I used to have some, because even though they were doing bad things with Long Feng and all, they were among the best Earthbenders of the world, and they were still serving the Earth Kingdom (in a totally different way). But when I saw them destroying a part of this beautiful wall that took so long to build... If they were real, I would be trying to tear them apart with Earthbending. Doesn't anybody else feel that way ?

Here ends the post *bows*

s anybody else noticed he strange relationship with Zuko and Azula? They are at each others throats one minute and then helping one another. It's strange t I think it makes sense.

Theory Alert:

I think that at some point Zuko will realize that Azula is just using him to get power--maybe woman can't lead in the Fire Nation and Azula knows that she can control Zuko. Much like Long Feng and The Earth King, as such she is only helping Zuko to eventually manipulate his rule.--So I believe that at some point Zuko will take notice of this and confront Azula. At this point some horrible thing will happen. So basically I think that Zuko might turn over after this.

Any thought? Criticism?

Although it was not my favorite episode, certain parts in episode 4 amazed me by showing the sheer strength and determination displayed by Uncle Iroh throughout the episode. I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that Uncle Iroh is going to play a big role in the rest of the season, with or without Zuko. I think he is getting ready to unleash something big.

Well I finally saw the new episode. This was my favorite one this season. I liked how Sokka, even though he was water nation, he was still accepted and trained. I thought the training would last more than like two days. But it was okay because Sokka learned alot and created his own sword unlike any other in the world. Iroh wasn't that impressive if you ask me. I dont like him being a muscle man. The Iroh I grew to love was a short jolly fat wise man. Oh well, what can you do. I did like his determination and will to survive. I just know he has to be getting ready to break out or something, and if and when he does it, all he has to do is cut his hair, shave, and get smaller clothes, then no one will recongize him. That's about it for my discussion on the new episode.

OOC: To your comment, Shio, I have been thinking about that also. I know that she is just using him now, and she must know that the avatar is alive, because I doubt she would have given all that credit to Zuko. Its just a matter of time that Zuko discovers her motives and confronts her. But Shio, I dont know if Zuko will turn over after what might happen. He has already had three or more chances to do so and didn't. I just dont know what will happen though.
