The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

People please above 200 characters.

Anywho chances are that the rest of this discussion will involve spoilers so people who haven't seen it, you've been warned.

I fricken loved that part, Zuko betraying everyone, because it gave him more depth although he just regressed back to his season one form. But all in the Azula verses Katara fight was basically over with Katara actually kicked ass i was impressed.

Sokka and Ty Lee, hahaha so funny now that Suki is gone they should hook up.

And the Earth Kingdom has finally fallen there is no hope now.

***possible spoiler***

I agree Toph does rock!!!! I knew from the bring of the series that some earth-bender would find away to bend metal, for metal is technically earth in a different state. Should have known Toph would be the one to figure it out too lol! Wow, she can call herself a metal bender now lol!!!!!

Oh yeah, once again, TOPH IS AWESOME!!!!! ;D

That was just incredible!

Some of the most impressive bending to date. Especially impressive where Toph, who taught herself how to bend metal, and Katara who fought Azula one on one and owned her. Zuko has some incredible newfound powers as well and fought Katara to a draw till the Dai Li showed up.

The whole time Zuko was fighting Aang and Katara I kept thinking, okay when is he going to stop pretending and turn on his sister when her guard is down? It never happened.

And for those who still hold out hope for Zutara, even if Zuko does eventually turn against his sister and comes to aid Aang, I can't possibly see Katara ever trusting him again.

I was a bit disappointed that Sokka didn't ask for Suki or didn't come to realize that something bad must have happened to her, but I really liked Sokka's time with is father. Very heartwarming.

One can only guess where they will go now. Will they return to the Eastern Air Temple? Will they flee back to the North Pole? Will the seek refuge deeper into the Earth Kingdom? Who knows?

Also, has Aang released his earthly ties completely? And what exactly does that mean? Can he not love Katara anymore? If so, the this episode was not only the death of Zutara but also of Kataang. :'( Though, I'm still hopeful that this only means the degree to which Aang can love Katara is the only thing that has changed. So, being the Avatar and bringing balance to the world must always be his top priority and his love for Katara has to take a back seat to that. Then the question becomes, Will Katara settle for not being the most important thing in life of the man she loves? That's tough.

All in all and outstanding finale. I can't wait for the beginning of season 3! ;D

**Spoiler**

The season finale was awesome!

It was exactly as i expected, Zutara would never come true, 'The cave of two lovers' has pointed out how Aang and Katara's feeling to each other. In the end of the episode, Katara used her healing water to save Aang, that's a mark for Zukara fans, Zuko and Katara will never have a chance.

The way i understand it, Aang must learn to put the world over his personal love. In the episode, Aang gave up to save Katara as she's surrounded by the Dai Li to transform him to the Avatar state.

Im not surprised that Toph could finally bend metal. If water bender can freeze water, fire bender can cast lightning, then earth bender obviously can metal bend since metal is just another state of earth.

Disappointedly, all along, i believed that prince Zuko would aid Aang to defeat his own sister. However, still, i believe Zuko will be on Aang's side one day. Zuko will surely make a fine fire lord after he overthrow his dad. Also, i believe the scar on his face will never fade, it will be the mark of his past.

As for where the group will head to next? The only two possible places i could think of are either to meet with Sokka's Dad or meet with the Osama's refuges. King Bumi has once told Aang to wait for a chance to strike, since the group has learned the secret of the Fire nation, it would be a perfect moment to strike back. Further more, with the king of Ba Shen Se traveling along, that will makes it easier to gather a group of earth bending refugee to strike back.

Overall, it was a unpredictably surprisingly finale.

I know I had the same thought in mind the whole time, then Aang got shot by lightning. I knew Zuko wasnt just playing along. *sighs* But I beleive he had to play it rough just his sister will trust him. Then he stabs her in the back, I think he was counting on Katara to use the special water to heal Aang if it so happened.

Yea I strongly agree, I think Zuko has a plan, we don't give him enough credit! Even though Azula is the brains of the family Zuko probably has a plan. Like, he betrayed his Uncle, ike as if. Good Job Zuko, I am very impressed. Well atleast I hope he is still good.

If this is true that means Zuko made a big scarifice for Aang and Katara, he sacraficed not getting his scar removed for Aang's life.

Also, Azula was amazing, her new official anthem is maneater by Nelly Furtado!

What I cant get is why would Zuko Turn on his Uncle I mean his Uncle helped him. Tought him most of everything he knows. And then he turns on his Uncle with that power? Disapointing. I also hate azula. ha.

Zuko better have a plan. And Aang better go rape Azula.

As for Zuko Iroh could only give him love and happiness while Azula could help him restore his honor, and well to Zuko his honor was far more important. Though i must add that the happy Zuko in the beginning was a little creepy and I am actually glad that they went another way with Zuko. Keep it up Mike and Brian.

I only saw the last half of the episode...looked pretty deep and profound. Kind of makes me wish I had been watching from the beginning of the season. It might have made the episode make more sense.

Not really the Guru episode was realy slow and kind of boring the only thing that made it better were the scenes of Azula getting all of her piece in play and some other stuff. Though there are many scenes with Toph that are rather humorous.

Mike and Brian know what they are doing. I think they putting the whole thing into some ellaborate plan. I bet Zuko will kill his sister, and seize his honor and control of Ba sing Se where he will then return the power over back to the King.

Yeah because Zuko could've killed Aang with the lighting but he didnt hit Aang with his full power, to make it look like he was trying to kill Aang because he knew that katara could heal him with the water stuff since she told him about it when they were in the crystal cave ITS ALL PLANNED OUT!!!!!! ;D

One little problem Haku, Azula shot Aang. Zuko cant bend lightning. Zuko might have been planning on Aang being shot, but he also planned on Iroh interfering so Katara could ecscape with Aang becuase he knew Katara would be able to heal him. Maybe Zuko and Iroh are both on this and the both of them planned it out, becuase he let himself be captured by the Di-lee after Katara ecscaped. He easily could have taken Azula, we've seen that before, and he taught Zuko everything. But he allowed himself to be captured and he faught with barely any of his full power.
IT'S A CONSPERICY!!

All in all I'm still ticked off and depressed, but I'll be fine.

I'm sorry but I think you guys are giving Zuko too much credit. It's like what his Uncle Iroh told him in Lake Laogai, he never thinks things through. I don't think he has a plan. At believe now after watching the episode twice, that he made his decision and that decision was to capture the avatar, to side with his sister. But I also believe that Zuko remains conflicted, especially about betraying his Uncle, and at some point he will probably turn on Azula, not as part of an overall plan he's carrying out, but rather because he finally comes to terms with he true destiny.

Watching the end of the season finale again had me in tears. Mainly for the following reasons:

- when Aang realized they were outnumbered and couldn't win, he turns toward Katara and says, "I'm sorry Katara", then releases his finale chakra to attain the Avatar State. I believe what we will see from this point on is a different Aang with regards to his feelings for Katara. While he will still care for her as a friend, he has released his love for her. Katara may be dense but I'm sure she is going to notice the difference in Aang's behavior toward her.

- the look in Katara's eyes when Aang first achieves the Avatar State, (one of great joy) then the look of utter terror when Aang is struck down. The tears in her eyes and the ways she rushes to save him. And especially the way she holds him in her arms (kinda reminded me of Michaelangelo's sculpture of Mary holding Christ's dead body). I think at this point Katara realizes she loves Aang as something more than just a friend. This is especially heartbreaking since Aang had just released his love for her in order to save her.

I think we may be in for a real gut-wrenching episode in the 3rd season where Katara tells Aang she loves him only to have him tell her he loved her once and will always care about her but he can't love her anymore.

So it seems that not only has Zutara come to an end but perhaps even Kataang has as well. GOD I want to cry!!! :'(

Aang only lets go of Katara when he activates the Avatar State. When he is in the state or out of it, Aang is in complete control allowing him to love katara as much as he wants. He has to clear his mind to activate the state, it's not a permanent loss of freindship or anything. It's like meditating, you clear your mind, and when your done you can think about things again.

I AM SOO FURIOUS! I CAN"T BELIEVE THE EARTH KINGDOM HAS FALLEN! THE ONLY CITIES THAT ARE NOT UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE FIRE NATION ARE THE NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN WATER TRIBES... AND SOME SMALL TOWNS IN THE EARTH KINGDOM! But nothing can be helped! Without the reign of the Earth King, Ba Sing Se and New Ozai are both under Fire Nation control... THIS MAKES ME HATE THE SHOW SOO MUCH!!!! Not really, I still love avatar.

Toph rox
Katara rox
Aang failed me
Sokka rox
Azula rox
Iroh rox
Zuko failed me

That is the part that made me mad. I mean, I don't know what this means with the whole Charka thing. If the older Avatar's learned about this Charka thing, then how did Ko the Faceless steal the face of an Avatar's lover. It makes no sense. Besides, one of the Charka's meant having love. Maybe now he will have the world in front of Katara, but still love her.
