We need to soundproof his office first. It's pretty empty so there's a lot of [wavy hands] weird sound things that happens when he records. But yes, hopefully he can start creating his portfolio soon, and I'll definitely encourage him to do these little challenges too!

Yo it's been a hellish year so just a check in: how are y'all managing?
Things are OK here with me and Ogre . It's been rough but we're fortunate enough that we still have regular income. Our quality of life hasn't changed much, aside from being cooped up inside the house.
Mentally it's been stressful though. It's harder to have solid work / not work boundaries (at least, for me), and it's harder to disengage from online activity since now all of my activity has to be online. Part of me feels like I shouldn't complain because I at least have work, but at the same time if I'm not careful I might burn out (trying not to, though).

She's older, and at first glance is just another wealthy (albeit very serious) woman, but she's secretly a member of the Order of the White Lotus.They would probably be good meeting in some innocent way, as Charumati is a clandestine operative.

Here are a couple of the songs she's done for the musical:
Grey DeLisle-Griffin (Azula) was so taken by this that she sang a cover of Friend or Foe.
If you want to support Katherine, she has a patreon! She's also put up one of her songs on Spotify. She just bought a new computer in order to produce this musical, so if you can, support her patreon and/or give her song listen on Spotify for that sweet sweet revenue.
What do you folks think? Honestly, as a big fan of musicals I am LIVING for this. The songs are great and completely spot on. I would love to see an actual stage production of this. Of course, Aang would need to be played by a girl and Toph by The Rock, to pay true homage to the Ember Island players and close this meme full circle.

Someone on twitter said (paraphrased) that someone should let grown men know it's OK to write fanfiction and honestly that's a whole ass mood for this ATLA remake. I genuinely cannot imagine Bryke leaving for anything less than an egregious misalignment on the core values of ATLA as a series (even without their official statements saying that's the reason), and so this adaptation would be fanfic at best.
Probably really AU, too.
I just feel like... the world of Avatar is so wide an varied. They could have chosen to adopt Korra if they wanted something that didn't have a more wholesome, "kiddy" vibe. They could have done a story about Avatar Kyoshi if they wanted to go super grimdark (because we all know that Kyoshi would NOT hesitate to end a man), they could have further explored Avatar Wan, they could have done ... literally anything. Kuruk. Used the comics. Done a story about Iroh's life. Literally anything.
But no. They wanted to tell ATLA again, which in theory is fine, but they wanted to do it in such a way that the original creators have completely disavowed it as being true to the spirit of ATLA? The only other time I have heard this happen, aside from M. Night's catastrophe, was with the Reflections OVA from Rurouni Kenshin.
