Now, I'm from a place where five days of inactivity is enough to call the place pretty much dead. How's the community since I've been gone?

Unfortch it's just been me and Gia fighting the good fight; we had a few people while you were away but they disappeared right around the holidays and never came back.
In all honestly, I'm not 100% sure what Gia and I can do to keep this going beyond just the two of us right now, but we're still trying to brainstorm ideas. The downside is, i work 40 hours per week minimum, and Gia's hours are a bit more sporadic than mine, so we're having to balance that against a forum that isn't generating a lot of community interest.
One of the things we're doing is contemplating adjusting the plot to have an identifiable antagonist/s, rather than to have a nebulous, unnamed sort of ideological antagonist. If you have any suggestions that wouldn't go against some of the core tenets we have, mainly: one element per person, no elements beyond the four original, and no canon characters from the series (we've toyed with the idea of TARP-created 'canon' characters but not sure how well that would work) — please feel free to share them.
For whatever it's worth, Gia and I don't consider TARP 'dead' because of lack of activity, so long as we're willing to keep it running. Perhaps it's not a lively place, but since we're both 30+ with demanding jobs and not a whole lot of free time, we're pretty considerate as to other peoples' schedules and are content to just leave the light on.

BTW, before I redo my reply, I must notify you of this really annoying glitch on mobiles that flashes the text box and makes it very annoying to type. Also, my message was lost when I tried to send it. It held a lot of suggestions about the plot.
