If only I could get a job or afford college. I want to study Japanese and entomology. Maybe get a job in Japan as an entomologist.

@fullmetalgnostic - If you have an iphone, Duolingo just added Japanese lessons; duolingo is a free app, so no money needed. You may also want to consider a penpal exchange — This is a good site and Japan Forum which I've been a member of for ... gosh, over a decade now is a good place to meet penpals from Japan too.

Duolingo is pretty cool. I'm using it to learn Russian. The audio can sometimes be difficult to understand, but for the most part, it's pretty good so far.
