I don't have anything specific in mind but noticing your characters have a Probending connection I think there's a chance they could have met Rini? Since Rini spends a lot of time with her uncle who is a probending coach?

It's possible that they may at least recognize her, though none of them competed the previous year but if she's been around her uncle for a while, they might recognize her.

Yeah she's been in Republic City about two years by this point? And yeah she spends a fair bit of time around her uncle either just generally or going to watch matches and things like that
