New Character Idea

I am looking for someone to help me develop a character I've had on my mind for sometime now.

The basis of the character is that he is a non-bender chi-blocking vigilante (sort of like Bruce Wayne) who has been surveilling the Equalist movement for some time before the arrival of the Avatar in the city. I've been wrestling with some ideas for his background, but I don't really want to do anything tragic like "MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEEEAAAAADDDD!"

I was thinking he could also be a sort of Kick-Ass and Defendor. If I do not make him a role-play character. I may be tempted to make him a fan fiction character if anyone else still wish to help me out in that endeavor.

As outlined in the Rules & FAQ, we do not accept non-Equalist Chi Blockers. I don't mean to hinder your playing here, but we are emphasising the plight of the average citizen. It's all well and fine to make your character unique from what we have currently, but please keep it within the realm of reason, rather than drawing on superheroes for inspiration or having characters with roles/backgrounds that elevate them to the status of canon (see also: Rules & FAQ regarding "important" non-canon civilians).
