But for anyone else, I'd really just like some tips on character creation. I'm planning on being an earthbender who comes from a well-to-do family in the Earth Kingdom capital. He's in his late teens. He has come to Republic City to live on his own, feeling that his old life was too sheltered.

I definitely recommend that you read the [rulesfaq] — there's information about what you can't have as a profile element. I also definitely recommend you reading the link I gave in my first post — we're having some problems with people coming up with the same ideas for their characters, and that post breaks it down further so you know what we've seen a lot of, and what to avoid.

I'm not sure what you mean by how we format our character post? The [rulesfaq] covers it in part, that all In-Character posts must be third person, past tense.

Before we continue, I need you to confirm to me that you HAVE read the [rulesfaq] entirely, because after seven years of us being around there is a GOOD CHANCE your question has already been answered! :]

I've read it, but I didn't see anything about how you're supposed to submit your character. That's what my question was.
