Working on re-watching the original series. I forgot how really very good it is. I'm on Season Two, Episode 5 - "Avatar Day".

After putting up with atrocious nighttime internet at my dorm for the last few weeks, I finally learned that the ethernet cord (which I thought was no longer supplied to rooms) was actually wrapped up around the box behind my freaking desk. Well... I guess now is better than never =P
Still. Having a download speed of 600 kb/s is so sweet compared to 5 kb/s. AMAZING.

God. I feel like Shawn with bunnies when I snuggle with my hamster (psych reference)
Also, bad eyesight (chunky glasses), Pokemon earring and a gir shirt make me look like a full blown nerd. I can't be a wallflower when everyone is looking D:

Okay, my Internship Director is pissing me off. We have to write a weekly report and sign a contract - which both him and my supervisor has to sign. I had a question on both of them, so I asked him... and he somehow managed to both answer and not answer my questions at the same time. If you're wondering if that's even possible, trust me, it is, because it just happened to me. -_-

First day back to school. My APUSH teacher said "you were supposed to read what I assigned!", gave us tests and told us to do that plus an essay the next day. in the middle of the test, he used a blow horn and said "PSYCHE!" God. Scared me half to death.

Y'all, Bill just killed it. He just did what he always does - talks plainly and explains what is happening in the real world with your government right now, and how something will help or disadvantage you, in cut and dried terms. The wonderful thing about Bill Clinton's speeches is not simply his conversational approach or folksy charm... It’s much smarter than simply that. It’s that he breaks very complex, high-level governing stuff down and returns it to a ground level, down to things people understand. He tells a story, he has a conversation and he makes you feel like you are smart and deserve to be both heard and engaged with. It’s not just some Mark Twain crap. He has a vast array of facts and numbers at his disposal and he uses them, all of them, he backs himself up, but he deploys them onstage as though he is talking with you about it at the dinner table. He is very matter-of-fact, very candid, and he talks straight about real problems in a way people anywhere can understand. Barack Obama does much the same.
Even if you can't vote, I urge you to watch this speech in its entirety. Please, please, please watch it. I know a lot of you don’t really get much of this kind of candid analysis on a public stage from an elected official in this digital age. Obama does it too, but Clinton just did it right here, right now, and you should see it.
Between this speech, Michelle Obama, Sara Fluke, and Elizabeth Warren, I am just loving this. Michelle Obama's speech was electrifying and beautiful, and she wrote it herself. Sara Fluke's passion is incredible. And Elizabeth Warren... I can't say much more without cursing because I'm just so loving it.

I got up (relatively) early today, showered, put on makeup, did my hair, and ate breakfast. I literally cannot recall the last time I did this.
