We're looking for loyal members of the Fire Nation who like adventure, excitement and the smell of burning rebels.
Yes, you can meet such infamous Anti-Resistance leaders such as the sadistic Captain Kali and her faithul lieutenant the barely noticeable Kugi Tang.
There are plenty of opportunities for loyal members of the Fire Nation to make a name for themselves while serving Fire Lord Ozai.
Sign up your loyal Fire Nation characters here. Discuss the storyling. Make suggestions. Whatever.
The Anti-Resistance are lacking in numbers at the moment so if your character fits these criteria they will most likely be accepted.
1: Are they loyal to the Fire Nation?
2: Are they alive?
If you have answered "Yes" to both of the these questions you have what it takes to serve in the Anti-Resistance.
Please put your character's name, military rank and their weapon style and/or if they are a bender. If you'd like to add anything you think is pivotal feel free to do so.
Sorry, the ranks of Captain and Lieutenant are taken by Honoo and myself.

Okay, so I caved and created an AR Firebender (a Captain in the military) and I'll post his application for the AR forces as soon as he's approved.

Great! It's good to have more potential members of the AR. I'm thinking we could split them into two groups. The guards who are already stationed in New Ozai and the specialists that are on the way led by Captain Kali played by Honoo. This way we can have two Captains.
Oh, and if you could give your character some sort of rank I'd appreciate it. Since it'll be a military group I think there should be a hierarchy even if our characters don't end up working together much.

Uh my character would just be a regular soldier... an underling I guess, newly recruited to the Fire Nation's glorious cause kinda thing, an enlightened savage as most would probably see him >.> so yeah... just an average private

For those of us who play both Resistance and Anti-Resistance I think we should all agree not to have any fights between two characters with the same writer. It's too much like fan-fiction for my taste.
Does that seem reasonable to the rest of you? Fighting with other characters rather than ones we create ourselves sounnds much more fun and interesting.

Uhm, are you still accepting members? If so, I've yet to start RPing and I believe that this would be a fun group to join. Plus, it seems like a good way to introduce my character into the storyline along with a plausible reason for doing so.

Captain Azei Xian has a camp set up. His small contingent is going to be sent to Omashu when the Resistance actually starts, so you can join that if you'd like. Otherwise, the AR forces aren't active, sorry.

Ah, please forgive my noobish-ness, but, what would be the proper way to go about doing so? I can't very well just wander into your topic and such... Well, I could but that would be very disjointed. Is there some way you would prefer over another?

Mori Kenchi has certain mutual goals with the Anti-Resistance. He also looks for certain rebels, but mainly firebending deserters. He could become a close associate to the anti-Resistance. He won't join, because he likes to work alone and in secret. The freedom that comes with working individually suits him just fine. Maybe on or two compatriots, that's all he could tolerate on the long run.
Off course his Loyalty to the Fire Nation does make him a willing ally. He'll help when asked for. He'll probably be in the neighbourhood often, as most of the deserters will not reside in the Fire Nation. He might even call in the help of the Anti-resistance itself now and then. Also he will share any information he will have gathered when walking amongst the people.
He's no specialist in fighting Earth-Benders, though he has some experience stopping bending-moves, so he might have a little advantage and be of some use.
So when the AR moves out, he could be joining them for a short while. Making sure there are no deserting fire-benders in Omashu. And if there are, hunt them down and deliver them to the AR for 'processing'.

I've set the stage for characters to volunteer for the Anti-Resistance in New Ozai. My character is slowly making his way there so there will be time for your characters to hang around the base or whatever. I wanted to give everyone time to assemble before moving the story along.

Right. Colonel Myaku and Captain Xian are on their way from Ba Sing Se. It should take them a couple days for them to get there (which is good, because I have other characters that are in the Resistance that need to get there as well).

Since the resistance isn't even in it's infancy yet should we have a story arc for the Fire Nation characters? Maybe Tom-Tom could get himself kidnapped or they could deal with the criminal element of New Ozai. Maybe a serial killer or something.
Some sort of complex problem requiring Xian's level head, Tang's low-key infiltration methods and Lee's naivete would be nice.
I'm sure two smart RPers and myself can think of something interesting for them to do.

Okay, since Tenshio is on (hopefully temporary) hiatus leaving Kuma as the only member of the resistance I've decided to give him his own break to give him time to sober up. Without someone to write with detoxing I'll just leave him alone for a few days RP time. He'll pop up again sober and probably meaner without Masami to soften him up.
If no one objects I might as well use this opportunity to start murdering NPC's.
