I was talking about this with some others and it occurred to me — I know a lot of writers make playlists while they're writing. Often music is chosen because it is inspiring or because it reflects a certain scene's feel or because it is like a character's theme. I do this when I'm writing, both when working on novels and when working on characters for things like role playing games. Often I'll have a theme for each character, or multiple songs that I think reflect them.

I have at least one song for each of my three characters.
For Lee, "Keep Tryin'" by Hikaru Utada
For Han, "My I.Q." by Ani DiFranco - sorry, but I can't find any recording of it for you!
and for Shtiya, "Oliver James" by Fleet Foxes.

How about you? Do you do this? Have you done this for any of your characters here on TARP?

Let's see...
Suigetsu: Insight by the Dead Kennedys
Kuma: Corrosion by Ministry
Dadao: Damn it feels good to be a gangtsa by The Ghetto Boys

More will be coming once I think of them.
