Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

As you hopefully can read above, this is the first (And as of the second this was created, only) drabble collection.

FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW drabbles are small widdle chapters that contain Fan Fiction. Some are just one-shots, others can continue up to Five Chapters. But, unfortunately, my attention span is not that high.

THERE ARE SOME STUFF THAT YOU WON'T FIND IN MY WRITING! I am a christian. There will be no lemon (what married peeps do at night....hint, hint.) Just fluffy kisses, hugging, and cuddles! (Though it sounds similiar, trust me, this is, by no means, a Barney episode collection.)

Katara will not loose her....Germanity. I stink as a Kataang writer, and I'm anti-Zutara. My ship is ZukoXOC, got it?

'Flame you to Heck,' is as bad as it gets word-wise. Darn, not the D word. I love constructive criticizm, and if you flame, my army of OCs will flame it right back!

Have a nice day, and enjoy my writting. please.

"If we go to the Earth Kingdom, they'll have us killed."
"But if we go to the Fire Nation, they'll turn us over to Azula."
Iroh and Zuko exchange looks.
"Earth Kingdom it is."

Silks And Fire Rebels

PG-Romance. ZukoXOC. Nah violence.

The once golden fields that lay before and below him were dyed blood-red in the dying sun. His golden eyes scanned it, not as they did years ago, when innocence was a commodity. Now, he felt an urge to caress every stalk of grass as if it were to incenerate soon.

He breathed the air of his people and his nation. It had been truly his for the past few days, ever since returning with the avatar and his friends. Prince Zuko didn't miss the title, the respect, or even the sight of his homeland as much as he missed her....

Zuko told only two people about the deepest secret he ever held. Only his deceased cousin and Lady Mao knew the one woman he ever loved. Not even his uncle knew.

The Prince had never been brave enough to tell her, but seeing her in those red, gold, and black silks, her brown hair wrapped in a formal bun, green eyes glittering like gems; he couldn't contain it any longer. It was in the very field he looked upon that he told Mao how he felt.

She simply smiled, lightly touching his scar, and whispered, "I know." They kissed, and kissed with the heat that no Firebender has ever known in the existance of the world.

Then, that Avatar had to go off and fool it all up by escaping. A ship was awaiting him to escort the prince and fifty dedicated soldiers to Isle Huo, where he could cut off the cursed boy.

A door opened behind him, and with a smile across her strawberry lips, she slipped in. "Zuko?" the woman called, her red silk rustling on the black and red marble. Her brow wrinkled as she closed in. "What troubles you?"

He felt his throat knot in itself like a poisonous snake, his eyes lost in hers. "The Avatar has escaped. I am leaving today to head him off before he runs into Earth Kingdom waters."

She placed a hand to his chest, protected by metal when he wished it bare. "And...if you do not succeed?"

"I will not return until I capture him again...." Zuko said, spitting the most foul words he ever had the misfortune to voice.

"What? But....You said....The Firelord said...." She tried to find the right words, fumbling and turning to the ground. "He said you were his son? Does blood mean nothing?? Can you not stay without the reward any common man would recieve?!"

"Mao. Mao, my love. My father...is very hard to understand. It is what is best."

"I'm comming."

"No!" Zuko almost shouted, making her flinch. "No," he repeated more calmly. "It is much safer for you here. I will return."

"That's what you said last time! YOU ALMOST DIDN'T!" Mao screamed. "If only you heard what was spoken. Your father planned to assassinate you, I heard the orders he gave your sister! Don't go, it is a fool's trap, I beg you!"

The Prince turned away, as she lay her head on his chest. "I can't."

She rose, her lower lip wobbling and a tear starting to fall. "If by banishment you leave, may cotton warm you. If by Agni's grace you fall into Heavens, may silk cloak you. But never will I warm you."

With her cold farewell, she departed, leaving his heart as icy as it was three years before, the last time they left. With that same goal in mind, he turned. "May Agni's Grace fall upon you, like I truly wished to do."

Well, bless you! I was trying for that, since the only ship I can really do well is ZukoXOC. This is mostly a romance collection, just incase I didn't already say it.

That's right singles. I'm one of you, so I spend my lonely weekends writing pairings and thinking of ways to annoy my friends.

Innocence of The Unlikely

Challenge: Not...Romance.....

Disclaimer: I. Don't. Own. Avatar. I ownly own my theories, $30, the volume 2 of Avatar....I JUST DON'T OWN IT!!

A Water Tribe youth walked along a crystaline stream, gazing at the full moon longingly. To anyone else, the moon would just be a symbol of his culture. To Sokka, it was a lasting memory to the first and only woman he truly, completely, and indefinitely loved.

The teen sighed, his blue eyes still connected to that beautiful night decoration. "Yue....why'd have to go? I understand, but could you have left a part of my heart?"

Suddenly, his hand connected with a cold, metallic object that was left in the grass. "What the..."

Lifting his arm, the boy saw it. It was a black box without a symbol, partially rusted and worn as if buried for a long time to be uncovered this night. Sokka picked it up, holding it in his lap to find red lettering in a beautiful script, as if done by a professional. " 'The Key to our Spirit Realm was lost, but now, you may use him....'"

His eyes lit up as if hit him. "YUE!" As if there were Fire Nation troops behind him, Sokka ripped the top off, and a bright red light shot into the sky as a figure appeared. It looked to be about 8, a little boy....

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" an old man yelled from behind. Sokka quickly recognized him as the old one who traveled with Prince Zuko, but didn't have a bun, and had discarded General armor for green refugee garb.

"NONYA!" our brave hero said, grabbing the box and sprinting off to warn Aang and Katara. He ran hard and fast through the foliage, as his legs started to ache and heart pound.

When he thought he was safe, he stopped, looking at the box. It seemed to be empty, except for a little bird feather. "What?! What a rip-off!"

"What's a lip-hoff?" a little lisping boy asked, standing at Sokka's elbow. He looked about 8, with pale skin, yellow eyes, and black hair in a ponytail.

"AH!" Sokka yelped. "What?! Who?! How?! ....WHAT'S WITH THE LISP?!"

"I thave I thigmathism." the little one explained. "I than't remember thy name. Thut it thas weally important."

"Wait, are you the Key to the Spirit World?" the Water Tribe male inquired.

"I thunno. Maybe...." the little one guessed, shrugging.

"Okay, if you are, I'll need you later. But first, STOP LISPING!"

"Thy?"

The teen's hand connected with his forehead, as he grumbled. He didn't know much about this kid, but he knew that he truely, completely, and indifinitely HATED that lisp.

No Turning Back

Challenge: Riding out this ;no paring; thing and keeping it short.

Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar. I don't even own AN avatar.

Guards passed in front of the great doors, wrought out of black, framed in gold, and encrusted in rubies.

Her green eyes scanned every inch, something tugging longlingly at the back of her mind, as she desperately tried to locate it. Those doors were familiar, she knew it. Mistress Gaia had said it herself.

Mao sighed to herself, playing with her black heart necklace. Her short brown locks fell into her face, not to be brushed aside this time. "When will I remember you, father? Does the great general lurk among those very halls?"

She arose, making the many soldiers freeze to gaze at her bare midriff. The warrioress strode forward until a spear tip cut her off. "Identify yourself." one stated.

Instead of words, she pulled up her long sleeve, revealing a red scar across her wrist. "I wish to see the one who did this to me. It was 4 years ago."

All three men moved in to inspect it. "By Agni....she can't be..."

"Inform the Firelord! Quickly, Huo!"

"You're coming with us, girl!" a soldier said, grabbing her arm and ushering her inside. The doors opened and closed behind her, sealing her within. Now, there was no way back.

Insane Or Sane At Last?

Challenge: High Standard Writing, ZuTara Dedication, and Character Death. AH!

Disclaimer: Oh yeah, I own Avatar. I'm a Zuko-Fanatic and did away with his hair....UR SICK!

Katara stirred in her sleep, a pain in her arm and strange scent in the air. She felt heat close to her, and some sort of cloth over her body.

Opening her blue eyes, she observed that she was in a forest, around midnight for the time, and mid-Earth Kingdom by the looks of the leaves. A fire was creating the heat, and the cloth over her was a red blanket, wielding the Fire Nation insignia.

'What? Did Princess Azula's men capture me? Where are the chains?'

"Welcome to the land of the living, young Watermistress." a chillingly familiar voice taunted. Her head spun around seeing her worst nightmare become reality. Prince Zuko. "Or at least, that's what they call it. It's not by my opinion, not that you'd care."

Something told her this picture was wrong. No chains, no threats, and Zuko wasn't wearing any Fire Nation armor. Infact, he was wearing a simple dark green outfit to blend in with the forest. His hair was slightly longer than from the last time they had met, and even his attitude was a bit...off.

"You know, it's very rude to stare, young Waterbender." the Firebender stated, adjusting his chinamen hat. "And it's very tiring to have a conversation when only I am talking. If I wanted to talk to myself, I would have just incenerated you rather than bandage your arm."

She looked to her arm, which indeed was bandaged by what looked to be a soldier's belt. "I...I'm not going to tell you where Aang is!" Katara stated, trying to sound threatening. Through her utter disbelief, it was like pushing Appa through a 2 inch pipe. "Just because you helped me doesn't mean I have to sell him off so you can go home and show off to Daddy!"

"Good," he shrugged. "I was really getting tired of my Father's quirkiness anyway. What is with the curtain of flame? I mean, I myself would have gone imported silk. Red, maybe gold trim..... Thinking outside the box!"

".....Why did you help me?"

A/N: Ohhhh, why did he?! What's wrong with him?! Is is secret love?! Did the egg really come first?!

Look up. Read it. Jump into a vat of pudding. Cure cancer. Eliminate the need for toasters. Now read the continuing.

"I assure you, we're doing all we can to find your friend," the young Earth Kingdom general said, trying to calm Aang down. They had circled the surrounding area until Appa finally broke down and refused to fly. The young Avatar was still freaking out.

Sokka noticed, and was just as nervous. But he handled this pain silently, knowing the stress was past the saturation of all their minds, without any more help.

"No! You DON'T understand! I'm not loyal! I swear by the Fire of Agni, I did NOTHING to the girl!" a young woman screamed, kicking as the two Earth Kingdom soldiers brought her to the general. Not really 'brought', more like pushed her as hard as they could. Her brown hair had been cut for some strange reason, leaving it to a length that barely fit around her pierced ears. One lock had been dyed black with the tip red. Her skin was pale, like any Fire Nation citizen, yet held a different shade than from peasants. Her clothing was of usual prison garb, red tank and pants. Earth surrounded her ankles and hands, immobilizing her and any attempts to attack Aang or the man.

"We found what we thought to be a soldier in the Princess' troops, and were surprised when it was this," the guard said, kicking up dust into the woman's eyes. "Posing for unknown reasons."

"I swear to you, I didn't do anything-" she started, as a hard slap cut her off.

"Silence!"

"HELP!" a familiar woman screamed. Everyone rushed over to the wall where the general was when they recognized it.

"KATARA!"

Indeed, their friend and sibling was just 10 feet from the wall, caught in the grasp of another familiar teen. With a Flame Paranoid to her neck, Zuko called out to them. "Yes, help her by helping me! Or I'll give her a leg up to the next step in her spiritual enlightenment, if you catch my drift!"

Everyone stood there, wide eyed at the danger. The General seemed to be the only one who's mind was working. "What do you want from us?!"

Zuko grinned, his warm breath cascading down her back. "Looks like you'll return quickly, Waterbender." Then, he turned back to the others. "Sure gets lonely running from my father. That 17-and-mad-at-Dad-stage. I was thinking about getting a girlfriend, and your little friend doesn't talk too much. Not like those Fire Nation ladies in the courts...."

"What are you rambling on about? Do you expect us to kidnap from the Royal Fire Nation Capitol?!" a guard yelled.

"Do I look that selfish to you? Nah, you already have a young Fire Nation member of the court. I would like to trade. Oh, Lady Mao?"

The woman's head shot up, and everyone looked to her as a grin grew over her strawberry lips and a twinkle in her gray eyes. "About time, My Lord!"

Graceless And Lisp-Runt

Challenge: Young romance. No passionate kiss. CHICKEN!

Disclaimer: If I owned avatar.....Nevermind. I don't want to give you nightmares.

The great palace of black, red, and gold seemed like a mad scientists lair during that particular storm. Lightening clashed about, and ears were preened to hear the first scream of whatever monster was being forged within those walls.

Instead of screaming and howling, it was silent sobbing. Yet still, it was created within those walls.

Young Fire Prince Zuko sat at the taloned feet of a menacing dragon, its wings offering little protection from rain, yet much from prying eyes. Tears mixed with the rain, his robes completely soaked.

Suddenly, his head shot up from his knees, hearing the snap of a twig and a small gasp. "W-who are you a-and what are you doing here?! S-s-show yourself!" the young boy demanded, trying to sound as menacing as possible.

To his surprise, a young girl with soaking brown hair and wide brown eyes leapt from behind a bush, hands defensively in the air. Her robes were red, made of some sort of expensive material, and she looked to be his age or younger. With the make-up girls usually wore washed from the rain, she was quite beautiful. "My name is Mao, daughter of one of the Generals. I...I was just out here....looking for something....I'm sorry if I disturbed you."

"There's no way to disturb me more...." Zuko muttered, squeezing the water out of his ponytail.

"May I join you?" Mao asked timidly. Zuko shrugged, and she made her way to him, eyes locked on her own feet. Suddenly, she tripped, almost falling. He reached out and grabbed her arm before she did.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah....I still need to work on walking. Everyone, even my Dad, calls me 'Graceless'." Mao said, smiling weakly.

"You don't like it, do you?" Zuko inquired.

"No. Not really."

"My father calls me 'Lisping Runt', when it isn't 'Failure'. Or 'Disgrace'." The prince admitted, as Mao sat beside him. Her hand rested on his shoulder.

"Oh. That's so sad. I'm really sorry."

It was then that he noticed that there was something new in her voice. Something that made his cheeks burn with the heat of fire and voice crack. It was sencerity, something he had rarely heard. "I....Uh....Thanks....."

To my dear-and non-posting- readers thinking about getting iTunes so you can watch new episodes.....

DON'T!

I got it and now there's this REALLY dirty feeling I have....I'm a poor cheater....

It's better to wait, cause the TV edition is WAY better. When I watched iTunes, there was no 'jump of the stomach' like I usually have when I see a new episode.

DON'T GET iTUNES!!! I'm telling you, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!

.....And it's not just because I hate any show with....aw, you should find out for yourself. ON FRIDAY!
