Ok anime has been talked about but I'm curious if anyone on this site read manga if so which are your favorites

Me I read to many and I've lost count to how many I've read but the main ones I read are Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto, One Piece, and Death Note

question has anyone read or even heard of Death Note?

Not much of a manga reader. But I've dabbled in reading some of the BLEACH manga.

It's pretty good. Can't really tell you much about the manga, though, seeing as how I haven't read a whole lot of it. But the anime is spectacular.

Yeah, but I'd venture to day the manga it really good. Because, if the anime is good that means the manga is usually good.

Meh I usualy think that the manga is better even though in anime the strech things out big time and it sometimes shows things that they don't show in the anime

Aye. They cut out things in anime' so they can air it on television. They can't put in all of the blood, gore, swearing, etc. They manga usually has more depth to it, too. Plus, they always put stupid filler arcs in anime. Like Naruto, for instance. It has been filler since like the early 100's, and it is now episode 186, I believe. You are usually always better off reading the manga.

enix: Yes they add arcs which are pointless and in manga they get to the point

Aliana: I can understand why you like anime better manga. The bad point in manga is you have to read while in anime it explians things for you and theres nothing you have to think about

I read Inuyasha and Fruits Baskets. I'm pretty good about keeping up with the two of them, and they're both awesome. I love both of them.

The anime of Inuyasha is boring. It takes so long for them to do everything.

I agree it was cool for awhile but it was to long. Would perfur the manga better but that was long too. I've read Fruits Baskets I enjoy it, its cool for a non-action manga and all the guys are kind of hot lol.

Inuyasha is ok....Personally I love Cowboy Bebop. I'm horrible at keeping up with it though. Edward rocks! Naruto and FLCL are my two favorites.

Meep! A manga thread! A note on anime--the only "cut" scenes are in english dubs or things that air on non-Japanese speaking televisions. *wisenod* Nothing on Japanese anime is cut. Which is why I watch 'em subtitled. *nodnod* Here is a list of manga I am currently reading (The first two are my favorites):

Rurouni Kenshin
Fruits Basket
MAR - Marchden Awakens Romance
Read or Die
Naruto
Bleach
InuYasha
YuYu Hakusho
Yu-Gi-Oh
Love Hina

That's all I can think of right now...more to come!

I don't read them at all, but my friends are in LOVE with them. Here are some that I can think off that, they like.

Inuyasha
Naruto
Frutis Baskets
Desert Coarl
Hands Off
Mew Mew Power
Yu-Gi-Oh
.Hack
And there are about 2,000 (I'm just making up a number!) others that they read.
