A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

Optimism or Pessimism?

Okay, so are you an optimist or a pessmist? Is that glass half empty or half full? Let's hear it!

Half empty. I'm a pessmist by nature. I'm always seeing the downside, the worst case scenario. Makes it helpful in running a site, though, I can tell you that, since I'm always preparing for the worst...

I'm not sure, sometimes I see it as half full, sometimes I see it as half empty. Other times, I can't really make up my mind. Is that a bad thing? *twists her bangs with her index finger and thumb while she thinks*

I am half emprty sorry to much sorrow to be happy now

I am not emo

wow Karena I never pictured you like that then again you have me Rp'ing as Zuko and I view myself as a bad Rp'er but then again I was the third member and got to him first before a worthier member was able to appear, so I see myself as the guy who happened to screw over your website sorry

((And my apologies to any worthier Zuko & Iroh Rp'ers))

Am I the only optimist here? Sure I can get depressed but I always know things can get worse.

Shio - You're a lot better RPGer than you think you are, and most of the time, you play Zuko and Iroh very well.

Denya - You just might be... but every place needs Optmists as well as Pessimists. Pessimists to make plans for every possible Worst Case Scenario, and Optimists to tell them when they need to back off. *lol*

Actually, you're not, as I know for a fact that Kanea is an optimist. She just hasn't made her way here yet.

I'm a pessimist. Well, whenever me & my friends are in really terrible situations, I will like just tell them that there's a bright side to it! I'm always like that...I find it a little weird though.

I love being an Optimistic person. It makes me feel better to be kinda positive about things than like man things can't get better. For me guys, the cup is half full.

I always look to the downside, but it has helped me through liofe a lot. I never think "Big test tomorrow, maybe we will have a sub" because there is a very slim chance that we will. I always know things are most likely to go a little off plan (or a lot), so I am always prepared for the worst.

Hmmm... I must say that I am a pessimist most of the time. A heck of a lot of sad or anything else that's a put-down have happened in the past few years... My dog dying, my mom almost dying, my great-grandpa breaking his head open on a speaker (you know, one of those ones with sharp coners and are about two feet tall), ect. So most of the time, I'm a pessimist. Unless I'm with Izzy, my best bud. So, uh, yeah.

Pessimist. Because when things go wrong (which they always do), you were prepared (hopefully), and if things DO go right, then your pleasently surprised.

Um... I don't really see it as either. I guess I just go "Oh crap, there's a glass..." and sit down... I'm not really sure what that would be.
