Somehow he is going to harness its power like they do with the sun, so then their attacks become very powerful.

(this should be in the show place down at the bottom though just to let you know)

Moved, and for future reference, the General Board is NOT for Avatar discussion. That's what this board is for.

I personally suspect that they use focussed firebending ritual to pull chunks of the comet off of the main body and direct the flaming bits at convient targets like, say, I don't know... Pa Singh Sei? The North Pole? Irratating border forts?

Magical equivilent of the ICBM. *cue mushroom cloud*

I think they send it down to the ground by somehow controlling it. That's what I thought at first at least. Although they could harness it's energy when it is closer to the earth because the sun isn't that great when it is really far away.

Yes, with the whole army, it won't make much of a difference that they're weaker at night, because there's more of them.

O right. If they didn't use the comet to destroy the airbenders, then it's odd that there are NO airbenders except Ang left because if they're so high up that wouldn't they've been abale to see the Fire Nation coming and have the people who can't fight(That's probably most of the people since Airbenders like to dodge things.) just fly away?
