Yes, of course. Toph may be harsh, but if she doesn't go hard on him, he'll never really learn.

Yes she should teach Aang because the show says so. And to qustion to show is WRONG!!! But I have yet to see her show this 'Nuetral' thing-y. She seems to meet things "Head on!!"

People, if you can't keep your posts over 200 characters, and referring to how you like Toph teaching Aang Earthbending, why, etc... Then I'll have to close it.

So do or dont you like Toph instructing Aang to earthbend? She is really tough on him but she had a purpose, maybe in the next episode we will be able to see what happens.

I think the poll numbers speak for themselfs. As for new episides, you will just have to wait untill "the fury of the avatar." Avatar and Stargate, I HATE how they set up their seasons, or rather simi-seasons (Ranting). To answer your qustion, yes I do like it because some one has to teach him. But where is the concept of nutreal....thingy.

I said "Yes". But Im kind of indifferent. I dont see Avatar much anyway. Ive seen to like episode 6 or 7 in order, and then parts of laters ones. But my friend is gonna get the first season in september, so Im gonna watch it all then. But I like Toph enough.

Toph is one of my favorite characters, because she is very interesting, compelling, and a good source of humor. She makes a great addition to the team, and she is in my oppinion one of the best people to teach Aang, considering she is an exceptionally skilled earthbender, plus she is good at teaching in her own style.

I've read by some of the posts people have posted, wondering about how Toph displays and shows the skill/art of neutral jing. Bumi said neutral jing is the art of waiting and preparing before attacking. Toph waits and senses vibrations/movements/noises of any other kind before she attacks. That is basically the whole concept of neutral jing. Come'on guys..
