Iroh is my favorite character. But sadly I've missed the show for about a month straight. The last ep I saw was the Cave of Two Lovers. Thank goodness Tv.com has re-caps.
But anyway, that seems like quite a hit the old geezer took, just glad it turned out for the best, because I believe that he will teach Aang firebending, especailly after his brother betrayed him.

Sakai, Iroh is anything but a "geezer." yes, he is old, but he is NOT a "geezer." A geezer is some old weird person who talks to random people about things in the olden days, falls asleep in mid-sentance, wakes up, asks who you you are, than begins his story again. Iroh is definitly NOT a "geezer"
I'm really happy Iroh didn't die. I almost cried when I saw him get hit. I now hate Azula more than I ever did before. I thought that wasn't even possible! But I'm not surprized that she attacked when he let his guard down. Villians ALWAYS do that!
If Iroh should ever die (God forbid!) I don't think that he'd permanintly be off the show. His spirit would probably appear to Zuko or even Aang. Possibly accompanied by his son? I highly doubt he'll ever die, though.

Malu, geezer can refer to nay old person, don't take it so seriously. I use that to describe my grandparents, and they aren;t anything like what you just described. Geezer has no actual defined term.
But I am also glad he didn't die, because it would lose one of the best characters, although I'm surprised he just recovered like that. No healing, no near death... I mean, he just woke up! Kind of weird.

Well this is a kids show and Azula's goal was to just throw the other benders off their guard and knock out what was in her opention the strongest bender there. So even in here cut throat was, she praises Iroh for being so powerfull.

Man, Iro has got to be one of my favorite characters, because he is both very deep and interesting, and he provides excellent amounts of comic relief through out the show. He is always makin' funny quips, kinda like an older, more powerful and effective version of Sokka.

No Iroh is nicer than Sokka. I've yet to see Iroh mock some one. Insult yes, mock no. I guess I see Sokka as being simaliar to Iroh but not quite there.

Okay, everyone... This is interesting and all, but I feel that the purpose of this thread is now finished. So, if you want to talk about how much you like Iroh, then please direct yourselves to the Favorite Characters thread. Thank you.
