Each are balanced with one another. There's no strongest.

I have to agree. Like that Jeong guy said, they are all balanced. Water is cool and healing, Earth is Strong and Steady, and fire is out of control... Lol... I don't know what he said with Air though...

Yeah, "Swift and Sustaining." But the truth is, no element is stronger. So I guess that would kind of answer the question although I'm sure Zana's gonna burst in when she's back and say fire's the strongest... LOL...

But yeah, what what-ever-his name is said.

Ok, I think this should be cleared up:

I think you guys are all confusing stronger, which is a factual term, with better, which is purely subjective. It all depends on the situation - the place, how many there are on each side, weather conditions, any other such varations. That determines which one one is stronger. In general, none of them are stronger than the other. It only depends on different variable to say which one will be "stronger" in a certain fight.

Yeah, what Kerana said. If it was a full moon at night, then waterbenders would be stronger. If it was daytime in a volcano, firebenders are stronger. If you were in the mountains, earthbenders would be a bit better. I don't know about airbenders though.

There is no stronger element. Each element has its own strengths and weaknesses so you can't really compare them as which one is "stronger".

I think we're talking about which one is stronger, and have come to the conclusion that no element is stronger. I think Nile/Nami that you are referring to better rather than stronger. And when it comes to better, we all have an opinion. Interesting how that works...

Aliana's right, and on the same not, if you want to talk about which bending element "rocks" this is not the proper thread. The Favorite Bending Discipline thread is for that, so kindly keep all posts about that there, thank you.

All the elements have certain strengths and weaknesses, so no one element is really the strongest. Most of the time, when you say one is the strongest, it's your favorite. Firebenders think fire is the strongest, waterbenders think water is....it's just the common want for yourself to be the best. Not trying to start any fights here, though...

AAARRGGGHHH!!!! Not one element can be "better" or "stronger" than the other. All are in balance all complementing each other. All have specific strengths and weakness. The better skilled bender will win always over the weaker incompetent bender.

So you could summon a tornado and do the same thing. If the town happens to be by a river, could cause a flash flood. And fire does what fire does. All the skills have the same potential for destructive actions.
