I'm also for the whole zutara thing definite possibility many hints:

Ok, here we go.
#1 - the waterbending scroll ~ yes, he ties her to a tree. Not cool. But when he talks to her at first, his voice is soft, not harsh like it's usually. And...It’s the first time we see him smile! AND, if the necklace contains no importance to him, why did he keep it after he didn't give it to her???

#2 - the fortune teller ~ this one hits the nail right on the hammer...um..Never mind. A powerful bender. Hm... other than Ang and Zuko, what other bender is powerful and her age? Sides ang but he doesn’t count cause he’s the avatar.

#3 - Bato of the Water Tribe ~ here's where you need a Tivo or a recorder or slow-motion. Katara and Sokka are paralyzed by the monster. First off, why did Zuko then take them with him and not leave them there??? Ok, now set the TV to 'slow motion'. You see Zuko sitting in back of Jun, next to Katara and Sokka. Just before the scene changes, Zuko looks down at Katara, SMILES!, and grabs on to her back so she won't fall of. HMM... Oh, yes, and ONE MORE THING! Why did Zuko keep the necklace even after he uses it for the scent? And WHY did he keep it around his wrist? And also, when Jun says Katara is his girlfriend, Zuko never says no! Then, some people say, 'well, if he did like her, he would have blushed or said, 'no she isn't!'". Well, he's a good actor, as you can see in Siege of the North Part 1 where Zhao finds the swords. Zuko doesn't miss a beat when denying it. muah-ha-ha!

#4 - Siege of the North Part 1 ~ Ok, not exactly HELPING... the fight was cool, yes, but not helping Zutara. BUT! There is some cool symbolism: Zuko rises with the sun, Katara rises with the moon, moon and sun, opposites yet they go together, Jin and Jang...COOL!

#5 - Siege of the North Part 2 ~ Muah ha! We see ZULA! Ok, random... but yes. At the end, with Zuko, after Iroh says, "A man needs his rest" (which he says on the first episode! oOo!), why does Zuko seem distant and sad and...Weird? And he's not chasing after ang, as Uncle Points out. Maybe he has had a change of heart?!?

Whew! Ok now my hand hurts. Gonna stop now.

Alright, here we go. I attempt to try and prove you wrong, Zanisha, and I warn you: I'm never giving up until I see it in the show, and I won't like it even then:

1. Zuko's not stupid, and he knows that if he hells at her, she's going to yell back, and not give him what he wants, but, if he's soft, and not harsh, she might give in...

2. Besides Aang and Zuko? Haru. He's a good bender, but none of them, except Aang, strike me as "powerful". Zuko and Haru are strong, sure... but....

3. It's possible that he's smiled at her, because he knows that she likes Aang, and that he was going after Aang and intending to capture him. He smiled at her, because he was saying, "Look, we're going to go get the Avatar, and there's nothing you can do about it." Also, why would Zuko give it back? That would be being nice, and what reason would he have to give it back to her? She wanted it back. Giving it back would be... nice, and Zuko was not being nice.

4. Alright, this didn't help your argument at all... Opposites attract, yes, but sometimes, they're too opposite, and end up clashing. There's a difference between complimenting and clashing.

5. Why is Zuko distant? Well, I can imagine he would be tired after all he'd been through. Anyone would need his rest after that. I don't really have anything to say about this, except that, maybe he has had a change of heart, but after fighting with Katara like that (and losing the 2nd one horribly), why would it be about her? That's just silly...

He could respect her more because her power an you have to admit, Zuko is atracted to power.

PS: I'm not giving up either. So....

Zuko is attracted to power for HIMSELF. I don't honestly think he cares about other people's powers. He just wants power for himself, which is why he was after Aang all this time.

But now it doesn't really matter anymore since ther is absolutly NO way he can go back.

I am really against Katara+Zuko, Kerana has a point, if they are to opposite, everything will go wrong, sides, Karena is now Zuko's fiance (hehe j/k, never happen in th show). Also, how do you picture little firebenders and waterbenders playing together, someones gonna freeze, someones gonna get burt.

My sister thinks katara and aang will be a good couple. but i think that she wont go out with aang or zuko. aangxkatara are more like brother& sister to me and katara might look at zuko as an enemy.

I voted ZukoXKatara! I mean seriously all Zutara fans, I dont mean to cause a problem, but open you eyes, there is NO way, I hate this pairing so much

I had to vote Jun Zuko. I mean, think about it!

Yeah, Jun and Zuko... I think they would kill eachother before getting one sweet word to eachtoher.
