It would be Fire Lady( just to clear things up), but I think Azula will become the next ruler of the Fire Nation since she is favored over Zuko. Then there always is the possibility that Zuko can become Fire Lord since he is the only man heir to the trone.

Okay so if Azula if Fire Lady what havock will she reek? I think she is 10x worse than Ozia. What will hapen to Zuko is the real question......

We all know if Azula becomes the leader of the fire nation all hell would break loose, (Pretty much literally) But, if Zuko ends up being good and helps Aang, etc. etc. Then he could Become the next Fire Lord and end the war and such

I think some of us, if not most or all, would like to see Zuko become Fire Lord, but I have to point out something: Zuko was disowned. Getting his rightful place back will be easier said than done, and if Azula becomes the Ruler of the Fire Nation, then nothing will change, so the series can't really end then, can it? So she can't become the ruler. She has to die or something, I don't know...

If Aang does fulfill his destiny or whatever, won't he defeat the fire lord/lady? I'm sure that Azula would try and stop Aang eventually, and unless she miraculously turns good, then she most likely would end up dead. So with all the royal blood deceased, bar Zuko and Iroh, wouldn't that mean that either of them has the chance of being the new fire lord? (well assuming that they both don't get killed either)

Ha...! Impossible ! They're enemies of the Fire Nation, traitors. There is no chance for them to become Fire Lord. Unless Ozai or the future ruler of the Fire Nation forgive'em and I don't see anyone forgiving them for their treachery. You know what I think ? I think that after Aang defeats the Fire Lord, there won't be anymore ruler of the Fire Nation. At least, Azula won't become Fire Lady. I don't think it's possible to find out what will happen to the Fire Nation nobility and throne.

I think Azula has a pretty large Chance of becoming the next Fire leader, but if I know the Fire Nation they'll have some policy about it. It probably won't happen in this series though, maybe if they did a follow up, who knows? Karena is right though, A lot of people would love to see Zuko has Fire Lord, whether that will happen if Aang defeats Ozai, I don't know.

Maybe when he does die Azula will have a kid and start another war. Kid tries to hunt Zuko, Zuko takes him in as his own and they help Aang. Kid has to fight mom, kid wins Zuko is the Fire Lord end.

I agree with Kaji there probably will be some rule about how Azula can't be the next Fire Lady. She could marry some one so they could co-rule, but I don't think there is any room for love in her heart.

My guess is that near the end Zuko and Iroh will team up with Aang and his party. The last like 5 or less episodes will be Aang Fighting Ozai and Zuko fighting Azula. Im guessing Zuko will beat Azula by finaly freeing his mind and using lightning. He will also be able to re-direct lightning attacks and he might also have blue flames by then. I sense Zuko has much untapped power. ((if you watch Naruto its like Naruto he sucks in the beginning but has this great power inside he can't harness)) same thing with Zuko. Zuko will work hard and improve his firebending by using the principles of all 4 elements like Iroh taught him. I also think Azula will kill Iroh and Zukor or Iroh will teach Aang
