Um...yea...I was thinking the same thing.
Iroh teaching Aang would be good. Iroh is smart. And Aang learns quickly. Im just not sure if it would work out well, since Iroh could barely manage to teach Zuko, and Aang has less patience than Zuko.
Also, I think Zuko will end up becoming Fire Lord. I dont know what will happen to Azula though...

I don't understand what you're talking about when you say that Aang has less patience than Zuko. That's the opposite, Aang learns quickly and has a lot of patience. See, in The Library, Sokka wants to hurry them to find something against the Fire Nation but Aang isn't hurry and wants to have fun. But Zuko, in the first episode of the show, wants Iroh to teach him the advanced set immediately, even if he had not mastered the basics entirely.

I don' think that Zuko's mother has ever been mentioned. Maybe what happened is Ozai got drunk one night out on the town and things happened, so Ozai had the mother taken care of so people wouldn't know about the illegitimacy, then Azula's mother found out anyway and a) ticked off Ozai and got killed, or b) committed suicide. I dunno, that's rather sordid for Nickelodeon though.

I think that the FIRE LORD will banish prince alula for not being able to capture the avatar at the place where bommie is and then she cathes up with zuko and them and they find the avatar and teach him how to fire bend beacuse it shows the general then master pakku and then fire aluza and ang of ocurse air that is why i think the avatar will learn firebending and then sense they are both banished and zuko will come back and he will become fire lord thats what i think .

I think Zuko will give up on finding the Avatar to catch him and then become part of their little group that keeps getting bigger.

Did we ever hear why Zuko got banished?

I still think that Zuko will end up doing something crazy in the end with the Fire Lord. Maybe he will die. But if he lives, he will definitely become Fire Lord...

Well here is a thought. If Zuko and Iroh renounce their ties to the royal family then that means that Azula is next in-line. Keep in mind that when they renowned the fire lord, they didn't make a big deal out of it; they didn't even mention it to Azula (maybe they didn't have to). Not everyone knows about it, at least as far as I can tell. If my prediction comes true and Azula is the next to bite the dust then that means the Fire lord has no more legitimate children. When the Fire Lord dies there are only two options.

One is that Zuko will come in charging and seize power. That theory has been beaten to death, so I will not go into it. The Second option is more interesting: Revolution. The Fire nation will suddenly be with out a head government. The nation will fall into anarchy and the avatar will have to go in and control things.

A final theory is this. A system very similar to the British form of government will be created. The revolution will come and take most of the power from the Fire Lord. He will still exist but as a figurehead.

Well, Ozai practically hates his son, he thinks Zuko is useless. Since he thinks Azula is lucky, and a prodigy, there is no reason for Ozai not to give the throne to Azula. If you think about it, Zuko's mistake which lead to Agni Kai with Ozai isn't that much of a big deal, why did his father take the general's place in the Agni Kai? To take this chance and banish Zuko so his first born CANNOT take the throne, thus Azula became next in line. Azula is like Ozai, very very evil so Ozai thinks that she would make a good Lord/lady after he unlike Zuko who is too kind hearted (like Iroh). It is similar to how Ozai became the firelord even though Iroh was first born.
