Yeah Lu Zong has a point even though the Fire Lord is older more powerful, more ruthless than Aang nick is going to let Aang somehow win and defeat the Fire Lord suppoedly bring peace to the world and cause the fire benders to stop their attack on the other nations and the other two nations forgive the fire nation *gags*

I think the only way Aang would actually have a chance in a real-life attempt, not Nick's helping hand, is if he went into the Avatar State and used everything but fire on the Fire Lord, then he might win. The Fire Lord cannot control every element, but Aang can, so that is one big advantage.

If in his Avatar State, I think Aang might have a decent chance at winning. I'm mean he's really powerful in his Avatar State.

I think you are making Firelord Ozai to be more powerful than he is. Sure he is the most powerful firebender, and more powerful than any just water, air, or even earth bender, but When Aang masters all four elements, he will have the power of the avatar state without going into it.

It's Nick. The bad guys never win. My best guess is what Shijin suggested; though judging from developments thus far; Zuko will claim the throne and order the war's end because he'll have grown a heart (he's already starting to; most noticable in Zuko Alone), and everybody will be happy.
Except me. Because I love the fire nation tanks destroying stuff and mass burnination is always a plus.
