I heard somewhere from a few people on gamespot that mako finished the second season of voicing for iroh. I don't know if this is true or not, but that means that the voice change won't happen till season 3
iono but i just listened to that "little solider boy" ending 10 times in a row and is swear im about to break out in tears i just can't imagine if i had a son and he died while i was that old...it would hurt so much.
(note im 16 lol)

The truth is Mako (the voice of Iroh) died from cancer after finishing his voicing for the secon season.. Right before the airing of the tales from ba sing se episode (which is why they put in "in honor of Mako" at the end of Irohs section. Theyres two possible changes... 1: the get another voice actor...Or they kille off Iroh...But its a childrens show (meaning its on nick) so I dont think theyd kill him off...

I know he died from cancer, but the question is "how much did they record of mako's voice for iroh"
Supposedly they didn't have anything else past 2nd season (earth book) and if they don't im worried that we might lose iroh as an effective role in the show. Iroh was always a funny character and helps keep things savvy with Zuko and all

I loved Iroh he was one of my favorite characters...I kinda though hed be the one to teach Aang fire bending! And His love of tea i can relate to (im an avid tea fan) I think they are getting a new voice actore because I heard him (the new voice actor) on the promo for I think its the season finale or the season 3 mark...

if it's the season finale it's still part of season 2 so skeptics are believing that they might not be able to keep iroh as a major character anymore. so sad i loved iroh. I even had a thread somewhere on here with an animation of some of the famous quotes he had.
