I just wandered if anyone would be interested in sharing their personal opinions on Amiral Zhao now that he has died. He was my favorite character and I was shocked when I watched "Siege of the North part II" He tried to assassinate Zuko but failed and they began to fight. Aang soon went into the Avatar state and caused Zhao to be pulled into the water. Zuko reached out to try and save him but Zhao didn't want Zuko to save him so he allowed himself to drown. I think Zhaos' extreme pride in himself and in his country was why I liked him. Anyone who liked him or hated him feel free to post your opinions about him.

it was "Admiral Zhao". Commander Zhao was promoted in the episode "Blue Spirit"
And if i am talking about the wrong person, but forgive me if i am wrong.
Admiral Zhao captured the Avatar once, Zuko let the avatar go.
Admiral zhao also took Zuko's crew to go to the north pole
And the two fought in episode 3 "southern temple"
if all these add up to the same person then it is "Admiral Zhao" not "commander"
