Plot Update 10 March 2021

A year has passed since Fire Lord Zuko ascended the throne, and it seems like trouble is brewing between the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom once more. The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

When I watched "Appa's Lost Days" it was the battle scene between Suki and her Kioshi warriors against Azula and friends that had my jaw dropping into a big "uh-oh/oh-no..." and I am still not sure which came out first. LOL Anyhow, I am leaning towards either #2 or 3. I do not see #5 happening, and while her intentions were very noble, I don't think her driving Appa away was such a wise decision...

Copper for your thoughts. :)

I would say 1 or 3 but I can't vote for some reason. It's wierd but anyways on topic, Yeah I was like that too. Azula's just way too powerful for Suki to fight alone, I mean, Zuko couldn't take her down and he easily beat down Suki in chapter 4. Using the transitive property of Inequality, This is my conclusion: Azula> Zuko, and Zuko > Suki thus Azula> Suki so yeah.

I expected the Kyoshi warriors to fight better than what was shone. the kyoshi warriors used agile movements and used their opponents attacks against them, but they seemed to have trouble with Ty-lee and Mai. And when did they start using shields and swords?

I had a very similar thought as well. I am hoping that Suki's skills have improved since then. I don't think it would be enough to beat Azula outright, but it might be just enough to enable her to escape alive. However, given the fact that Suki said in "The Serpent's Pass" that she and the other warriors escorted some refugees to the ferry and then stayed there as officers, I am not very optimistic. Let's hope the path had been dangerous and then once they started working at the ferry site they practiced before and after work...

I expected the Kyoshi warriors to fight better than what was shone. The kyoshi warriors used agile movements and used their opponents attacks against them, but they seemed to have trouble with Ty-lee and Mai.

I could not agree more! I wasn't too surprised to see one pinned to a tree by Mai. They didn't know what to expect from her so she caught one by surprise. When another deflected her projectiles with her sword I was thinking, "Good, good, they are adapting." But then when she swung her sword around wildly at Ty Lee I couldn't believe it as it certainly did not seem to be at all in line with their training.

Copper for your thoughts. :)

I agree, the kyoshi warriors are much better fighters but!
you only saw 1 attack of Ty Lee to so they didn't knew what to expect from her again.
as for Azula...she is just tóó powerful for one of them to handle.
with the fire bending ánd the warrior moves...Suki's attacks are pointless...she might as wel stick tougheter with the other warriors.

I have to believe that they Kyoshi warriors managed to escape or perhaps were left for dead but still survived. I think the next time Sokka meets Suki, he will be in for a shock. I don't think she managed to get away without suffering some injury. Perhaps a scare of some kind or even worse the loss of a limb.

Perhaps that will serve to inspire Sokka to learn the way of the warrior more seriously in order to exact revenge for yet another woman he cared for who suffered because of them (Aang and company).

Suki is strong. Azula is talented. And I was angry when they didn't show the fight. I think she survives somehow. Because Sokka has already lost Yue and it would be horrible to lose someone else. I could picture Suki crawling into Ba Sing Se torn up with her group. But then I could also see Sokka at her funeral. I don't really know but I think she's strong.

I think that Suki will survive but won't actually beat Azula. Aang and Zuko have trouble fighting her and Suki isn't as advanced as them. Also, If Suki defeated Azula then Azula would no longer be a problem for anyone and she would be taken off the show.

Updated with Evil:

With new evidence from "The Earth King," it has been decided by most that Suki was either killed or knocked unconcious(sp) to the point where Azula could take her uniform etc. The Kyoshi Warriors lost. It is not certain as to whether or not the Kyoshi Warriors survived.

I think Suki is still alive. I'm guessing that Azula managed to knock her out, and just stole her stuff. But of course, it would be prettystupid to rule out the possibility of Azula Killing Suki, for we don't have any idea what really happened

but my money is that Suki is still alive somewhere imo.

I'm betting that the clothes were made by some part of the fire nation (probably old geezer fire bending grandmas with nothing else to do) in order to imitate Kyoshi warriors.
Besides, I doubt Suki's clothes could be taken, seeing as how they'd probably be burnt by the fire. I belive Suki MIGHT be dead, but I'm in favor of Suki being left for dead as the only survivor of her group.

TOAST!!
I don't think that Azula would let Suki live.
Sokka would probably get over her, and go for Ty-Lee.
Comon, they showed Suki and the other warriors loseing, and then showed Azula and the gang wearing their clothes and make up, proving that they were defeated, then the directors introduce a Ty-Lee and Sokka relationship.

But if Suki were burnt toast, there'd be no chance of stealing her clothes, seeing as how Suki's clothes would've burnt with Suki.

I LOL'd at the firebending grandma's with nothing better to do. That was a great mental image.

But on the serious side of things, How many Kiyoshi warriors were in Suki's group? And is it just that many? Or are their several of them branched off? I'm not sure. Anywho. If that's the Azula could have killed some of the others besides suki who was told to run and fight for another day or something like that. Not sure if that made any sense.

Ok yeah, true.
But consider this.
They knock Suki and the others out, steal there clothes and make-up.
THEN burn them.
Or Ty-Lee can do her little pressure point thing, steal their clothes, and burn them alive and listen to their screams. ^.^

Well, that IS a possibility, but I just can't imagine it. Besides, Nickelodian's already made Sokka suffer enough. Why take away his last real chance at getting lucky?
