Shuai i think that the ages you have seem to be correct. I think Sokka might be 15 but that's just me. Now i really don't know what Mai or Ty lee are but i have a feeling that Azula is a year older thank Zuko. I remember something about her being his older sister but I'm not sure. Mai might probably be as old as Zuko. Not really sure, but i think Azula is older. Hope that helped...

I don't know why they make it so hard to distinguish age. It's not that complicated just to tell us how old they are.

The ages you have there Shuai are pretty much on the money. I got the feeling that Zuko actually went from 16 to 17 during the course of the show, but without any actual proof, that's just a theory.

Now for Azula, Mai and Ty Lee, I'd say they're all 14 (though it is possible for Mai and Ty Lee to be 15). It's pretty clearly established that Zuko is the older sibling, as he pretty much whines about having his rightful place on the throne restored during the first two seasons. The series establishes that the Fire Nation actually has a lot of equal opportunity to it. If Azula was first born she would be at the top of the line for the throne and nothing Zuko did (short of the kind of skull daggery that Ozai does to usurp Iroh) would have allowed him to be the Fire Lord. He fights so hard to be allowed to come back home not just for his father's approval and love, but also what he considers his destiny of being Fire Lord.

In the poetic sense, you get the parallels between Iroh and Ozai and Zuko and Azula. The younger sibling is the megalomaniac and prodigy, while the older one goes through hardship and struggle to become seriously awesome. I get the feeling things weren't as hard for Iroh in terms of learning firebending as it was for Zuko, but they both had their world views shattered by traumatic events in their lives.

I always had a feeling that she was younger. And so you think that Azula may be 14 while Mai and Ty Lee are 15? I was always thinking that Mai was 15, but i was a little blurry with Azula and Ty Lee. Also seeing how Azula is 14 makes me amazed at how well a Fire Bender she is. I mean she and Katara have bending power! *Go girls* =D

Also i don't think Zuko aged a year, well at least i don't think he did. I was thinking that he remained 16 during the show or maybe he was 15 and turned 16, that's my theory. And i love the comparison you showed with Ozai, Azula, Zuko and Iroh.

Mai and Ty Lee.....Idk about them though. I would say that Mai is older than Ty Lee and Ty Lee is also 14, but then that would leave Mai as a 15-16 year old.

This is so weird I've always pictured them as much older. I agree Cao Ren their ages seem way to young. When i watch them they feel like adults. Especially Azula i thought she was an older sister. Ah maybe it was because of how evil and manipulative she was. Aang and Toph i always knew were young. Wow this is so weird! lol
