If anyone is interested, I would appreciate any help on finding the names and descriptions of firebending moves. I have dedicated hours so far to researching this topic but have not found any actual lists. Firebending is based on Shaolin Kung Fu but the specific name is Northern Shaolin Preying Mantis Kung Fu. If you do find any info try to post it like this, Name:
Level of Training Needed:
Description:
I will continue researching and post any info I find. Thanks.

i wasn't sure of the the martial art's style being Northern Praying mantis i was pretty sure that was the style Toph used, but i may be incorrect. I base the firebending off of Northern Shaolin Kung fu so try looking up Northern Shaolin and you can get a hold of a few stances, but i doubt you'll get a full list of moves because Kung Fu is an art that is taught in a dojo not a website =\ hope that helps some

Well, I have given 10+ hours and have not found a single thing on Shaolin Moves. I decided that if you want to, just make up a move. You still need a name for it, and a description but the level of training is different. It either gets a rank of
*Basic
**Intermediate
***Skilled
****Advanced
*****Master
So instead of typing out the LOT required just type in 1-5 stars for the difficulty.

Name: Wall of Fire
Level of Training Required:****
Description: The user stands with feet slightly outside the width of their shoulders and hands at their sides. They then rapidly bring their feet together and lift their arms completely above their head and bend their wrists down. This creates a large wall of fire between the user and a person or object of their choice.

Name: Fire Arc
Level of Training Required: ****
Description: The user stands with their feet together, in a straight posture and with their left hand horizontal to the ground and their right hand above their left but with their wrist bent upwards. They then inhale a large amount of air, step forward with their left foot, bending the knees, bring their left hand to their neck/chest with the thumb and first two fingers extended and the last two bent down. While doing that they also push forward with their right hand until it is completly outstretched and exhale all at the same time. This creates a large arc of fire that travels ouwards, away from the user and dissipates at about 100 yards.

Tophs bending is based on Southern Praying Mantis. Probably Chow Gar, but I'm not certain about that one. Southern Mantis typicaly places alot of value on in-fighting and not so much on capturing the apperance of a praying mantis..... also dojos teach japanese arts... chinese styles would refer to it as a kwoon....
Just saying is all ._.

Not to be evil, or mean, but I'm pretty sure triple posting isn't allowed........ So anyway, fire bending moves...... I don't know pretty much any of them, I just make them up as I go along. It's kind of something where you don't just do certain moves, but to me, it's more of a freestyle. Again, that's just me.

Su-su (I mean Suyami ;D) is right. Multi posting is forbidden (unless you're RPing alone and no one has posted since at least 24 hours but it's not a RP Board). The mods will certainly delete these posts. And it won't be something lost because the Fire Arc technique isn't really an advanced technique (and the description isn't really good, I wonder where he found this description) Neither is the Wall of Fire (for that it depends because you can make a simple wall of fire, like Zuko in "The Chase", or a powerful one, like Jeong Jeong did and like Azula did).
I think the Fire Arc is more that:
Level of Training required: ***
Description: The Firebender can do it with the arms or the feet. He takes a Firebending stance, then puts his hand behind him and make a circular move forward, making fire from his fingertips (as Azula did) or hands. Or the Firebender makes roundhouse kick, throwing fire from his foot, making an arc of fire going forward.
And the Wall of fire is like that:
Level of Training Needed:*** for a simple one, and **** (maybe *****) for a powerful one, depends on the form...
Description: The Firebender normally widens his stance (like an Earthbender), makes high moves with his hands (concentrating his fire) and raises his hands, making a fire wall. It's for Jeong Jeong's technique. For Zuko's technique, I think you just need to raise your hands to make a fire wall with your hands while you raise them. And for Azula's technique, you have to make a screen of fire in front of you and Firebend it so it keeps "spinning", like a disk.
I think that's it...
