The Fire Lord and the Avatar began the Harmony Restoration Movement to restore the Fire Nation Colonies to their pre-war state by bringing any Fire Nation nationals back home, but for many of the citizens — of mixed Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom … Read more ›

Wow...Omashu has totally been taken over by the Fire Nation. I was disturbed by this, but atleast the Aang/Katara was cute. Personally, I enjoyed the stupidity of the one guy. "Don't react to this, but I think he's the Avatar..." xD

That episode was extreamly funny to me, with the monks and everything. I am SO glad the fire nation took over Omashu, it was bound to happen. Some of my favorite quotes...

"Don't react to this but, I think he's the avatar."

"Hey, are you the river people?"

"Oh, I remember that part of the song now, 'And they DIE!'"

"This plant either makes the most delicous tea you have ever tasted, or its a deadly poison. Tea...poison...tea... poison..."

(later) "...It was poison" "You made it into tea and drank it?" "Well, I also found this plant which could cure the poison, or cause blindness..."

"And I give you the Earth Nation of...Omashu..."

I am totally shocked by this episode! What the heck happened to Omashu??? Karena we have a problem now with the RPG!!!

Though, the episode is funny, and I actually think Zuko may be coming around. The more he talks to the common people, and being a major outcast, he might show some compassion.

I'm worried about Bumi...Because, you would think a man like him would only let death stop him from defending Omashu...so...

I think we can assume this: Every Earth Kingdom person in Omashu is dead. I thought it was funny for the most part, real cute, but the end... OMG. Kanea and I couldn't stop staying that. (And yes, I realize there's a problem with the RPG. I've already decided the only thing that we can do, and it will postpone the end of this episode for another couple weeks, but...)

Oh, and the last line, "... the Earth Kingdom City of O - Oh, no...."

What are you people talking about the end was awesome

Although I kinda expected something to happen to Omashu because they made it there too soon. Mwahahaha there is a perfect example of imperialsim.

Next stop Ba Sing Se the only city left to fall and bow down to the Fire Nation.

Actually, Shio, you have a point there. I was kind of wondering... What was the rest of the season going to be like if they already made it there? *scratches head* Anyway, I was still shocked.

The two lovers story made me think aswell, mainly because I can't remember if the lovers were born Earthbenders, or if they learned it after they met each other so they could meet.

The two lovers....it said they were taught Earthbending by the Badger Mole things that tunneled within the mountain. Would this assume that it is inherit or just taught? But, that's for another thread.

Yes, the ending of this episode was suspenseful, but the problem was that it didn't coincide with our RPG, Shio. Thankfully Karena has a plan.

I don't think Ba Sing Sie (though I still like the Pah in the beginning...lol) will fall. It may be the last refuge for all of Earth Nation. Aang already almost wiped out the first place (last episode) due to the Earth Nation General there.:P I have a feeling that the Earth Nation will conglomerate on Ba Sing Sei and send out a huge army to drive out the Fire Nation from the land.

Sigh....can't wait until the next episode to find out what happened to King Bumi. It tells me, then, if I still have a Cannon Character to play or not:P I do believe the fate of Bumi will show in the next episode since they reached Omashu.

I don't think so. It would be too dangerous, I think, for them to go in.

Oh yeah, I have a theory about this episode. Its kind of weird but, I think the two moles that came were both possesed by the spirits of Oma and Shu, and they helped them out of the cave. Its kind of weird but, you know.

Ive got a crazy theory. At the end of the episode "imprisoned" after Katara and Aang had helped the earth benders on the boat Haru and Tyro said we owe you and cannot thank you enough. If you ever need anything.... So Im thinking that maybe they will return to the village where Haru and Tyro are located and have Tyro teach Aang how to Earthbend.
