How are they going to get like4th or so avatar after ang, because it has to be an air bender. My belief is that they are going to find a lost airbending temple or something at some point, and maybe aang will teach them or something.... but yeah.

That brings up my pet theory. I think that should a tribe be rendered extinct, when the next Avatar cycle comes along, someone from another tribe will give birth to an Avatar of the destroyed tribe's bending type. It could work, sure the Avatar woudl have a hard time mastering his or her own element, but it would get the tibe restarted and hopefully the Avatar would have some kids in the meantime...

I'm still convinced that the Fire nation missed a group of Air peasants or two, lurking in the mountains and such. They couldn't all live in that monastary. Someone had to do the hard work of supporting those monks!

I think that Aang's descendants will the Airbenders and by the next Airbender Avatar's. They would have his blood in their veins, so it's entierly possible that they'd be the Airbender Avatars. Either that or the cycle really is broken...

So Katara is going to be the sacred mother of all future Airbenders? That would be a shift in Tribal religion.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

OH GOOD GRACIOUS!!!!

As resident Katara, I must say that being the sacred mamma of all future airbenders is a big thing to comprehend. Plus, in some odd way, it would be an honor ish thing...
