Ooh, I'm interested in what you have to say, Halaku! You have a point. It did not say death, simply, "Someone will make a great sacrifice." In that case, I truly think it's Zuko, as he's got the most to lose. We see him with his mask off, and since Zhao's think's he's dead, that means his identify is revealed. Hmm... What do you think he might sacrifice, to be truthful, and how? I think that he might sacrifice his future - or the future he wants to have (throne, honor, country). But how is what I'm curious about...

Weeeeell... The clip did show him with Ang bound at his feet. I think. If things get so bad that Ang is the only one who can save the entire Fire army from the city melting under them. (firebenders+ice city=crud...) Zuko would have to let Ang go in order to protect his country men ala 'The Storm'. I could see it. He's done it before.

Yes, he has, for one reason or another. His ship needs repairs, this, that... That does sound like Zuko, and if Zhao sees him letting Aang go, then he'll definetely mark him as even more a traitor than he thinks he is now. That and the fact that Zhao suspects that Zuko is the Blue Spirit. If Zhao somehow uncovers the truth (I don't think Iroh knows) then he will be forever marked as a traitor. No getting back into the Fire Nation, and Zuko realizes that. Interesting, interesting...

That would likely result in Iroh following Zuko and possibly becoming the mysterious 'firebending mentor' Ang would need latter. Zuko is screaming relcutant ally to me. (long term project) And that, means Iroh. Seeing him fight is going to be insane...

You have a good point there. Iroh is feircely loyal to Zuko. Where Zuko goes, Iroh follows. That would certianly result in Aang have a firebending mentor, and Iroh's one of the best. However, I don't see Aang getting a firebending mentor just yet. In Season II, they said that Aang gets an Earthbending mentor, which will be interesting to see.
Oh, I know what you mean. Especially if they get Zuko and Iroh together. Zuko is a very good bender, and his uncle's famous. I can't wait. Oh, and btw, I agree - Zuko = Eventual Ally. I have an entire thread (poll) open about Zuko in the Characters board.

Well, in the first few episodes, they said that the order has to beath "Air, Water, Earth, Fire" in a cycle like that. They probably conveniently left Fire as the last, because it would, for obvious reasons, be the hardest one for Aang to learn.
As for sacrifice... keep in mind, the show is on Nickelodeon, so it's meant for kids. When they say "sacrficie", it'll probably be a little more tame than someone dying. Maybe someone loses an arm or a leg or something?
That said, earlier up someone mentioned Iroh not knowing that Zuko is the Blue Spirit... I think he does. Iroh seems the type to be able to notice things like that.

Iroh probably suspects, as Zhao does, but I don't think either of knows for sure... at least not right now. I don't think it'll stay that way, though.

To Quote Goruhui: Well, it WAS a life--Yue's. It was a "tame" death persay though.

Not just Yue, Zhao is also dead - taken by the Ocean Spirit, methinks.

D: I don't think Zhao is actually dead..you know in certain show/movies when you think the bad guy is dead and they come back? I think that might happen..hey, I can be wrong though.
My favorite episode is 'Jet', 'The Water-Bending Scroll' and 'King of Omashu'. x3

This is getting off topic, but... From the end of the Season Finale, I think we've got a new bad guy... (or girl in this case)...
Btw, my favorite episode now is the Season Finale. It was so cool!

I love the episodes where they fight without bending, like in Episodes: Jet, The Waterbending Scroll, and the Blue Spirit. Great episodes.

I love the Blue Spirit that is why Deyna uses a Long Doa Blade. That is one of my most favorites. However, I like the latest ones the most cuz I love the bending fights and when Zuko says "You rise with the moon, I rise with the sun."

Jin Hu - Actually, there's bending in all three of those episodes you named.
Jet and the Waterbending Scroll- Waterbending by Aang and Katara.
The Blue Spirit - Firebending by Zuko as the Blue Spirit, and Airbending by Aang

Or where there are major characters who can't Bend and yet hold their own fairly well against Benders...
Stick it to the man!
