Alright, some say that the people in the beginning are the people who teach Aang, but I don't agree. I'm pretty sure Toph is going to teach Aang earthbending, and the guy in the earth part doesn't look like Toph, so here's my opinion.
What I was thinking was maybe the people in the beginning aren't the people who teach Aang. What if they are the masters? I mean, Pakku's the master waterbender, Azula (that's who it looks like) is a master firebender, I think that earth is Bumi, and he's master of Earth, and air is Aang because he's the master of air.

What do you guys think?

I think that it could go either way...

Masterbendertoph, if they were the avatars, they would show Kyoshi. Pakku is definately not an avatar.

Yeah, that too. If Pakku was the Avatar, we might as well consider ourselves dead.

No, actually, because Pakku would die, and then the fire nation would kill every one else... Brilliant.

i think the avatars in the beginnin are simply master avatars who are channeling their powers through him on one episode they were saying that aang is most powerful in the avatar state and most vulnerable in it becuz if he dies in the avatar state all of them other avatars will die with him........i think someone all realy say that but who cares

Omi, I couldn't quite understand what you said, but anyway... I think I caught something about past Avatars... I don't agree with this at all. How could it really be the past Avatars? Pakku isn't an Avatar! All of the TV show websites say the waterbender is Pakku, and he ISN'T AN AVATAR!

*Tries to hold back laugh* I don't agree with that either, but it's an interesting concept. Has anyone thought that it might just be random people that just happened to make their way in the creators mind, and maybe one was thinking of Pakku at the time?

Its just someone who hasnt been introduced yet. because both Pakku and Azula were in the beginning before they were introduced.

Water - Pakku
Earth - Boulder (maybe)
Fire - Azula
Air - Aang(?)

I just think it's masters... that seems most likely...
