Was katara over reacting about jet when she found out wgat he was doing?
I think she was because he's very furious at the fire nation and he probaly had mentall problems when his mom and dad were killed.

no offense to any female boardmembers, but girls, especially around the age of 14, will blow stuff way out of proportion when regarding emotions. on finding out that jet tried to kill the fire nation by also killing other people, katara was "heartbroken." and yes, katara does have feelings for Aang as well. thats just my opinion, of course. and yes, ive always been single, so dont even try that joke.
girls think with their feelings, guys think with their gut. or the phrase goes sumthing like that...
btw, can i just throw out a random thought that you're under 12 years old

Katara was pissed off that she was lead on - Jet was flirting with her - and that he would kill innocent lives, which in not her thing.
And Xia-di you'd better watch it, keep in mind that the two top admins are girls. And with an attitude like that, no wonder you're single.

...........no. Jet got off incredibly easy, if anything. I was honestly surprised we didn't see a Mortal Kombat style fatality performed >.> ..... maybe something Sub Zero-ish.

He still tried to kill people and he was still leading her on in romance. Personally, I would have killed him. But hey I guess it's just that we girls actually care about inocent people dying.... I mean after all you boys get to destroy everything and leave the wemon to the healing, right? Healing of limbs, hearts and souls.

Sedna is absolutely right. As a girl (who has been led on and heartbroken) I can honestly say: Katara didn't give Jet what he deserved. Jet didn't care about her and that hurt her. He just wanted to advance his own plans. No one likes having their feelings toyed with especially if innocent people are going to get killed or something like that. So Katara just reacted.

yea because when you become an teen or becoming ur attitude and feelings change and i;m with jet and i hate katara. Katara sucks and i hate her dumb feelings and personalities. and her girlyness and almost everything about her.

yea I just started to learn health this yar and yea it's ok ut my teacher makes like every thing he talks about like a sad dramatic story and katara sucks. It's the innocent fire nation ppl fault cause thay should rebel and be fire rebels cause the fire nation's eveil.

ok, u seem like an even worse form of me. For 1, ur english is much worse. i just use computer slang, but "ut" isn't a word. Secondly, ur even worse of a sexist.
Saying "Katara sucks and i hate her dumb feelings and personalities. and her girlyness and almost everything about her." is not very nice. and now, i personally would say that, jet got wut he deserved, maye not enough, maybe too much, it depends on ur perspective but the way katara was like "u lied to me" was the point i found to be overreacting.
and i apologize if wut i sed was offensive. i just meant that sumtimes sum people have heavy mood swings and in my personal experiences it has been more females then males

I don't think that katara over reacted. There were no facts being left out of the story that katara didn't know about. I believe that after she found out about Jets plans she connected the dots and everything snowballed into the situation you have now. The trick is....how will she respond if she sees him in Ba Sing Sa?

I guess we'll find out soon enough. From what I've read, there is an upcoming episode where Team Avatar (I really liked that name ;D ) meets up with Jet and his freedom fighters again at Ba Sing Se.
As for Katara's reaction, I thought it was right on. Jet was a liar and a murderer. In addition, if you watch the episode again, you'll see her reaction is really no different from Sokka's, she just possesses the power to do something about it, unlike her brother.

Jet is a really annoying character. I can see where he's going at but he doesnt care about losses. He's almost exactly like the fire nation except in a different direction.

Jet is like a little bug that is in dire need of being squished. I just want to HURT HIM!!!!! Anyhow, Katara did not overreact about Jet. She should have totally hurt him, but she didn't. Anyhow, Jet is stupid, I do not like Jet. (In case you had not gathered that from the rest of my post.)

I believe that she did over react but not because she's emotion and a girl or because she 14. Just look at how fast relationships are spawned in the show in general. She met jet, liked jet and dumped jet in one 30 minute episode..... in the show it had only been a few days.That a bit fast for anyone to fall in that much love to be hurt so bad. It's not just her relationship. Sokka falls in love with princessYue way to fast he hardly gets to spent any time at all with the her. Look how fast we are introduced to Zukos love interess, Jin, in "Tales of Ba Sing Se." The show has to go over the top with these emotions because they only have 30 min for an episode... so they have to rush relationships and they may have to make charater like kitara super pissed just to make a point.

In fact, he probably didn't get what he deserved. He pursued revenge on the Fire Nation while risking innocent's lives. I'd say that's worse than what the Fire Nation would have done to Jet's family in the first place...
