Oh god. This episode was win and awesome. And just...EPIC! Combustion Man = Anti-climactic. Sokka pwning with his boomerang was awesome. Him carrying Toph around was squee worthy. I flailed. FLAILED AT MY COMPUTER SCREEN. Zuko being a nerd. Oh Zuko you are such a loser. I heart you! And his speech to the GAang was just epic and love. He was trying so hard and I loved his impressions of Iroh and Azula. Especially Azula. <3

Now about the shipping: Katara loves Aang. The End. That whole scene at the end I do believe was explained best by Rawles on Livejournal:

There was nothing in Katara's eyes denoting a "I want you" attitude. She told him point blank: 'you eff up and I'll be handing your head to you'. That wasn't subtext for "I love you". That was blatantly obvious anger. She hates Zuko's face so hard. And she's just waiting for him to sneeze on Aang so she can have an excuse to kill him.

And if that means she loves him, well then I'd hate to see what it's like when she actually hates someone >_>

You know she wants him. imo, you can tell that he hurt her. She doesn't want to give in to him, or admit the fact that he hurt her. I think that she'll end up liking Zuko, it won't work out, and it'll only strengthen the bond between her and Aang. *shrug*

To even think Katara "wants" Zuko is ludicrous. Plain and simple. The boy spent a better part of a year hunting them down, chasing them all over creation and trying to capture Aang. I don't doubt that Katara will eventually come to like Zuko. But to SUDDENLY and INEXPLICABLY forget everything that Zuko has done to them and somehow magically fall in love with him would be just...I would lose all respect for Katara. I mean he had a hand in killing Aang. No he didn't do it directly. But he helped Azula. And for Katara, he's guilty by association.

And the whole this parallels her situation with Jet. Uh, no it doesn't. For one Katara didn't forgive Jet until he died (R.I.P man R.I.P).

(Also, Jet =/= Zuko. Jet > Zuko. The End. )

Okay... Katar is a total b-tch... I don't like her anymore. Lol. But, yeah, I told you so. Sokka would joke around, half-seriously. Aang would want to trust him. Katara would be really mean... And Toph, because she barely knew him, wouldn't really say much at all. She even could tell he wasn't lieing. She defended him completely.

Why Toph didn't just say that she startled him by waking him up in the first place... I don't know. I myself always make sure to tell the complete story before letting anyone interrupt me. If someone tries to interrupt me, I tell them to shut up, because I'm mean... And stuff. Lol.

Where did Sokka's sword go? All I keep seeing is his boomerang. I mean, unless I missed something and he somehow lost it... He's not carrying it.

Thing about your question, the hate or the love being stronger: If she loves Aang, that feeling will be a lot stronger than hatred. I know for a fact that this is true. And it shows that she loves him because she followed his decision to allow Zuko to join the group. I just know that at some point they're going to think he's trying to attack him, and a huge dramatic scene will erupt, but oh well. Right?

I've put up with so much crap from Thad's friends and his family... Well, mainly his family. His friends just want to watch us do "explicit" stuff, which will never happen. I honestly... Despise his family. They're all a bunch of idiots. He himself is realizing this, and says, because his mom is taking our guest bed though she already has two, "I don't care what she takes, as long as she gets the Hell out of my house." Yeah... She moved back in a long time ago and has been annoying us since.

So, yeah... Katara is hateful. Kind of manly, too. Lol. I don't know what to think about her really. She seems to just be more consumed with anger, rather than happiness for their accomplishments, every day. I'm starting to wonder whether, in the future, if she'll be used against the group unintentionally.

No, Katara does not want to get it on with Zuko. If she wanted to do the nasty with him, she wouldn't be threatening him. Relationship wise, I know what I'm talking about, despite the fact that I'm not old enough. Lol. I'm only seventeen.

It's Toph who will most likely end up being is lover-girl. Yesh, blind chick with half blind dude. Perfect. She even feels the most compassionate for him... She forgave him for burning her feet and making her bending blind on accident.
