I re-watched the Season One episode, "The Southern Air Temple." I noticed one huge flaw in it, and was wondering whether any of you guys noticed it, too.

Okay, in the second episode, "The Avatar Returns," Aang goes into the Avatar state. Keep that in mind! Okay, when Aang goes into the Avatar State in "The Southern Air Temple," all of the lights in the Sanctuary light up, and all over the globe the Avatar lights are shown. Everyone discovers that the Avatar is back.

So, when Aang was in the Avatar State and that happened, my first assumption was "well, it must be the Sanctuary." However, he wasn't in the Sanctuary when it happened. He was outside of it, in a tent, near the place where the Flying Bison would sleep, following Momo. He was very low on the Temple.

If it wasn't the Sanctuary, what was it? In episode two, he went into the Avatar State and no one knew about it. Could it have been the intensity in that time, or something else? Does anybody have thoughts or ideas about this?

I personally think that everytime he gets in the Avatar State, it triggers the lights, but the writers just sorta... forgot. xD
