God I loved the episode. I mean who couldn't like it?! Well I was slightly surprised by a few things, for one i was surprised that Aang ddid not even get to fight the Fire Lord, I was so pumnped for that fight. I figured that they would fight and he would not be able to win, but seems my hope was squished. Anyways, I just loved the Aang x Katara scene, fianlly they know how each other feel and you can bet that life in the Gaang camp will be a whole lot different now. Also another thing I loved. though not expecting it to happen quite so soon was Zuko leaving the fire nation for the Gaang. I mean who truly though he would leave that soon. The only major event that did not surprise me was Iroh breaking out of prision. I mean we have seen him training for that and it was pretty obvious that the attack on the Fire Capitol would be the perfect distraction. I also wanted to say that I thought it was briliant with all the new inventions. I mean come on! Submarines, Earth Nation tanks, torpedos and even those new air carriers. Also I loved that we got to see swamp guys again and the big sea weed monster! xD
Anyways I have to say that I loved the episode, but it left me wanting more. I suppose that will come throughout the season...One thing I am wondering is how the Gaang will react to Zuko and what Zuko will teach to Aang. He may teach him lightning! If everyone remembers he knows the form to make lightning, he did not just have peace at mind at the time. Now with his mind peaceful and happy he can use it and even if he can't use it he can teach the form to Aang who already being easy at mind could probably use it. Not to mention the perfect defense against lightning bending. (Which I was happy to see Zuko use)

Wow, this was a great episode(s), Avatar will be more popular than ever if they keep this up. Makes you wonder what the finale will be like.
The animation was superb. The artists did a wonderful job. You can tell they put in a lot of extra effort into making this episode. The plot followed suit, even if there were quite a few things that were expected, there were many great twists. Take Haru’s Mustache for example (Grr… Haru, he don’t stand a chance hahahahaha!) that was pretty surprising to me.
I like many others wanted to see more of Katara in the battle, still it made sence and fit her character pretty well. Just like that kiss w/ Aang! It’s too bad they were separated for the rest of the episode, I would have liked to have seen more but sadly I have to wait for the next episode. Also I don’t think that the presence of Zuke (if he does find them) or Haru will truly effect the Kataang relationship, not when its been carried so far to the next level.
The battle was really good to. I didn’t expect Katara’s Dad to get gotted. And it’s pretty sweet that they’ve got the kids together again, there’s probably going to be another journey. Oh and those airships were pretty dang awesome. Who knew the fire nation were such clever buggers? Anyway that’s what I have to say in a nutshell.
Peace Out, Kataang Foreva!

Honestly... I think it will be between Zuko, Iroh, or Ursa, if they find her in time. Now that I know that she really did kill Azulon, I know she HAS to have firebending skills. If she didn't, then she wouldn't have been able to kill such a strong man. Talking about teaching Aang firebending, of course.
But, all the romance... Everyone knew it was going to happen, anyway. I guess I'm the only one who didn't get excited when I saw Aang and Katara kiss. What did get me, though, was Sokka's reaction towards Azula when she mentioned Suki. That's true feelings right there. When you're willing to get in someone's face that could rip you in half, all for the one you love, you know it's true. But... Hm... I can't help but wonder who Toph will end up finding, though she's just a little girl. Oh, one thing I don't like about all of the kissing is the fact that children watch the show. What are they going to think about that? They should just kiss everyone they sort of like? Eh... I'm an idiot for thinking about it, I suppose.
Now, Ozai... He's a manipulative evil little thing, isn't he? Heheh. I smiled just now. Yes, I've realized I favor the bad guys over the good guys sometimes. I want Aang to win but I just can't help but love some of the evil characters. Azula makes me feel a little bit stronger about myself, as well. Confidence. The way Ozai pushed Zuko's buttons, though. You could barely tell, but it was getting to him. Zuko had just grown up a bit and was able to hide it, up until the point where Ozai mentioned his mother... WHO IS ALIVE!!! =D!!
Gah... I liked that episode. =) I guess my reason for replying is that it was wonderful. What was depressing was the fact that Katara's father could possibly die while being a prisoner of the Fire Nation.

-Yawn-
All in all, a pretty boring episode. I didn't understand how Azula could outrun Aang, nor why Katara / Aang didn't even attempt to take down the big blimps. They took down that massive Drill. It's not even like they tried. Same goes for earth benders - where were the Ground to Air rocks!? That sucked majorly.
Some things I wanted to happen, were;
Ozai getting power back, pwning alot of the army to the point where they have to fall back, then getting beat down by Azula, who takes the throne as Fire - Queen? She then defeats Zuko (not kills him) and Uncle takes Zuko away. The GAang escape, and Uncle and Zuko are set to hunt them down, but now for different reasons, and act as their guardians.
Uh, yeah. That's what would have made more sense, and would have filled out the characters more. In my opinion anyway.

Well, the reason why they didn't try to take the rest of the blimps down was because, while they were trying to fly up there and had taken down two of them, fire was being constantly shot at them. Katara and Aang could no longer hold it off, so they turned around and ran.
And I think the story is better now than it was before. The point of Zuko and Iroh being with the team is so that it's not the same as it was before. People get tired of the same thing happening over and over. No one wants to see him try and try and fail each time. x.x

Yeah... She probably does. But, won't until either he's dead or removed from the throne for somehow messing up. Which, I just realized, may be something that happens later on. She may just get Ozai killed... That b-tch. Lol.
Hm... I wonder how it would be done. Probably get Mai and Tai Lee to do it, because she's mean to her friends like that. =P

I'm really surprised there's no mention of Sozin's Comet here, wasn't this pretty much their last gambit? What if Sozin's comet does come? I wonder how big of a power boost it will be to fire benders. I hope it's not too drastic, I wouldn't want Katara to become useless after destroying Azula a few times.
